as an FYI, I would certainly pay attention to info that I give out, in terms of both the current situation as well as the meta picture of the overall campaign. seemingly innocuous statements can actually be hints of the greater story at play.

You guys should have a sense by now that being Hardbrow's flagbearer is a crappy job. On the plus side, it'll certainly make you tough!
crappy indeed but it is also a high honor. Usually the flagbearer is awarded to the toughest person in the unit..
I am here just waiting to hear how my trip to the church for vespers went and to see how Greith and Gidgey make out.
Since Kurat and others are not there, I would advise against team stealth jumping the flag bearer on the first night. Much better if we do it on the second night, when we're all there. Get some blunt or whatever arrows/bolts/stones can cause nonlethal damage, plus have 2 or 3 of us who can stealthily approach him, maybe have Greith open with a sap attack, and the rest of us hit him with -4 for nonlethal damage. Combined with stealth/surprise, invisibility, guidance, blessings, whatever we can muster to scale the odds, we should be able to take him down in a few rounds. I really do not see an option of you two guys taking him down now - as a minotaur he has probably sky-high Hit Dice, and none of us have the appropriate spells to put him to sleep/decapacitate him in 1 round. Of course, should we attack him, we must wear some kind of masks, and somehow silence him so he does not raise an alarm - are there adequate spells on spellcasters repertoire?
There are few more options - we try to find out who is tomorrow's flag-bearer somehow (if possible) and then spike his dinner (or even the whole unit's dinner) with some sleeping drugs, or at least some equivalent of codliver oil (or castor oil, english is not my native language so I do not know the right term, but I think you understand what I'm getting at). We could also fake a small fire, or throw several cats in the commander's tent, and use that as a diversion. Finally, we could try a simple bluff - send one of us with highest Bluff (in disuise) and convince him that Captain Hardbrow ordered him to leave the post or something...your thoughts?

Which gives me an idea: if you know you aren't going to be posting for a while, could you post a quick note here about what you would do if combat pops up? It'll make things go smoother.
Drax will tend to charge in and make a claw attack in hybrid form under normal combat followed by a full round attack of claw/claw/bite until the enemy is dead for botting. Obviously for the current combat he is planning to cast his spells and run like a sissy 1/2 Orc ;)
I see a few days of potato peeling in our immediate future.
Let's hope it is just potato peels. I think failure is better than discovery. If he doesn't fall in 2 rounds I suggest we run for it. Drax will need to decide if he should stick to the plan or charge in as a bear next round.
You guys still have a chance to pull it out. We'll see how it goes.
I am really sweating the decision over here. The last Drax saw the flag was down. Then the most settle in and he hears fighting. So the question is will he stick with the plan or go hot head and charge back in. From how I have seen his personality I think he will charge in but I don't think it is the "right" thing to do.
Here's hoping the Minotaur falls by the end of the round and someone shouts "run!" to stop him from doing something stupid. :)

Eeerm, I am not sure if I follow the development of the situation in here properly, but I'm not sure if we're on the right side here, whatever is "right"...I have to read some key posts again, but Urgosh, you're my man (dwarf, minotaur, whatever) - that's the right approach! Let him either kill us all now or give us a meaningful explanation. So far, from what he saw, Kurat would go straight to the Skyreaver and tell him everything, from start 'till end. But let us see what "our Captain" will respond and then we'll decide.
Urgosh is really just a dwarf. "The Minotaur" is just a nickname he got as a testimony of his resilience and stubbornness...

I am sorry to have to do this, but I will be pulling out of this game. I'm starting a new semester at school and I'm taking 20 credit hours, and I fear with too many games I'll be too distracted to focus on school.
