Garidan Layafette

Yes, describe the Emerald Spire as a strange green thing Dresden, i'm fine with going. I've heard a few things, mostly rumors though Garidan says barely picking at his food, writing in his journal. His eyes only occasionally looking up to glance at his companions before returning to his work.

Earlier to Dresden
"See value for money, one meal lasted you days! But I don't think so, seems like they don't go in for the same amount of spice. Plus they have this drink, Suki? Supposed to burn just right going down."
Later.
Tella nods, covering her mouth as she speaks through a mouthful of spring roll, "I say we go, I could use a bit of time away from the Smithy, my Da' has decided to play matchmaker and if I have to threaten to castrate another dullard dwarf I am not going to be able to stop at threatening."

"Then it's settled," Dresden says, still slurring his words badly, as he picks up a glass of Suki from the couple's table and raises it "to the Green thingy of Spires!" and downs it in one. Turning to the couple once again, and seeing the shock on their faces, he says "Oh, sorry. Was.. was that your..." and passes out before he could finish his sentence, knocking over their table.
Variel Soumral

Variel rolls his eyes at the sorry example of an elf.
"Apparently we need good night's rest."
Tella Brightsmith
Tella waves a hand, "Some crackpot was saying that 3.5 years ago, but the Pathfinders debunked it, elves sleep like anyone else. S'alright this saki! So how about we meet up tomorrow and seek out a ship. Hopefully we can find some merchant and sign on as guards to cover our passage."
Variel Soumral

Variel smiles slightly at Garidan. "A good night's rest is a good night's rest, no matter how it is done."

The couple Dresden passes out on, looks very upset. "Eavesdropping is not nice, people. Now get this fifthly thing off our table and out of this place. Actually, we are leaving. We have an early morning ship to catch." Giving your group a very dirty look, they haughtily walk out. One of you can just barely hear them mention the Sellen River.
From what you've gathered, that river will take you north to the emerald spire.
Tella Brightsmith
"Sounds like we have a ship to catch, let's take a walk down to the docks now and ask around, you never know how frequently ships go that way we would not want to miss our chance!" Tella enthuses, having consumed enough Saki to fell most men and speaking far too loudly.

Variel mutters curses in Elven under his breath. "Who shall assist me in helping our friend to the ship also."

Dresden rolls over onto his back "Wha.. What happened." his words barely legible "'s floors uneven... someone could get hurt!". After much flailing around, he manages to sit up "Vvvariel..." he says holding out an unsteady hand for help getting up "Watch your step! Dangerous this side of the room."

Sit him down for a moment i have something that could help Garidan pulls out a small pouch of white dust resembling salt, he mixes it into a cup of water. It fizzes briefly. It's called Alchemists kindness, it's cheap helps with drunkenness and hangovers. Might not stop him right now but he won't be throwing up later. Drink up Dres, unless you enjoy hangovers. We'll still have to carry him to the ship but it should make things easier for later

Favored by young rakes and others of means, this is a crystalline powder resembling salt. Mixed with water, it makes a fizzing cocktail that eliminates the effects of a hangover within 10 minutes of drinking it.

"Uugh... Tastes like Unicorn Dung" Dresden mumbles with a scrunched up face as he swallows the medicine. As he stands up, one arm around Variel's shoulders, he says "Thank you Vvvariel... You're good people" patting him on the face with his free hand "I think I need some fresherer air... 'sawful stuffy in here."

Yea, yea it does...if it was Tella i wouldn't have offered, Dwarves tend to be able to handle their liquor, whereas with elves i've never met one who could. I'll show you how to make it sometime, Gardian looks around briefly Well let's go, before we miss our ride
GM June
At the docks, you find a ship that the couple must of been talking about. The Sunken Mary II, (per the captain, you don't want to know how it got that name), is heading the direction you need. He also introduces you do a young fellow going to Fort Inevitable, which is really close to the Emerald Spire.
Silas, a young elf, can answer a few questions, if you any.
Between the Echo Wood and the broad expanse of the West Sellen River stands a resolute stronghold of law and order: the walled town of Fort Inevitable. From its stern keep, companies of Hellknights ride forth to enforce the strict laws of their commander and bring authority to the unclaimed lands of the Crusader Road. While the taxes imposed by the town’s rulers are heavy and the laws inflexible, no one can deny that prosperity has followed the Hellknights’ establishment of hard justice in this small corner of the River Kingdoms. Merchants, travelers, and adventurers journeying on the Crusader Road find that Fort Inevitable provides a rare island of safety in an otherwise lawless land—so long as one is careful not to run afoul of the Hellknights’ laws.

Dresden stays back as the others talk to the captain and young elf. Still a little inebriated, he keeps waving and making smoochy faces at the ship's figurehead.
Variel Soumral

Variel reaches up and grabs one of Dresden's pointy ears to pull him away.
"Come on, Romeo, you can hit on the statue on the way back. It would be best if we stuck together."

Dresden waves at the figurehead as he stumbles behind Variel "I think she liked me." he says with a beaming smile.
Grabbing Silas' hand with both of his, Dresden shakes it vigorously "Good to meet you sir. Good to meet you... Are you going to the Emerald spindle too? Is there lots of treasure and strange beasts?" he asks, voice slurred, but excited "I can't wait 'till the morning when this boat starts tra... travelating!" he blinks a few times and looks around "I wonder what the sleeping arrangements are."
