Seeing the last creature run, Brenna lets out a loud bellow of a breath as all of her battle energy leaves her, slumping slightly as she leans against her greataxe. Then, shaking her head, she moves into the next room behind Tella and to the side of the monster, taking a much weakened swing at the beast.

Round 5 Ending rage, wanna save the last 2 rounds for any further fights, fatigued for 1 minute.

"Oh no you don't" Dresden shouts as the Troglodyte tries to slip away. Seeing an opening, he raises he sword for another attack.

Seeing the monster trying to escape, Variel tries a last stab at it.

Red makes it past Variel and Dresden unharmed, only to run into the wrong room. As you enter behind the troglodyte, you just see him being eaten by a giant frog.
Looking around this room, you see that cracks in the walls and ceiling have allowed rainwater to collect here, flooding the room and giving rise to a profusion of mold and fungus along the walls and ceiling.

"Eeuugh... That's not something you see every day." Dresden remarks, clearly a little disgusted by the bulbous creature and how it ate his former adversary, "Now just stay still my amphibiotic amigo." he says as he carefully raises his sword, his long arms still causing him trouble...

"Ahaa!" He screams as he swings at the frog.

How annoying Garidan whispers under breath having been mostly silent taking a stab at the creature

Variel moves in and happy to see the rest of the party attack the frog, attempts to join in.

Tella basically does what she did with the Trog double moving around since she cannot reach to attack.

The frog goes to bite Garidan, the thing doesn't like being hurt but doesn't seem to be able to get a hold of him.
Brenna comes in with the killing blow on the frog.

"What on Golarion was a giant frog doing half way up a tower? Guessing it was not one of those stinkers pets as it ate one," shaking her head she carefully scans the room before moving through to the next one trying to see if there is an obvious way up to the next floor.

Dresden just stands there looking a bit sheepish, knuckles dragging on the floor, "I'm beginning to dislike this place." he says with a sigh. While waiting for his arms to slowly return to normal, he takes a quick look around, prodding the occasional Troglodyte to see if anything shiny falls out.

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

Half of the room Tella steps into can't be reached from this side. The outside wall is half-collapsed. Unless she wishes to climb up the outside wall, the stairs are the best bet for going up.

Lying among the rubbish under a broken table, Dresden finds a small jade statue of an angelic being and a vial of potion.

Cure light wounds potion.
What next?-- Rooms 10 & 11 or Upstairs for the last floor?

"Hey hey! This place isn't so bad after all" Dresden exclaims excitedly, "This must be the sort of thing Qinlan was talking about." he holds up the figurine for all to see. "Here, Variel I think you might like this... he passes the bottle to Variel with a reassuring smile. Clearly buoyed by his latest discovery he says "What say we take a look-see at that other room across the way? I'm feeling lucky!"

Variel can have the potion of cure light wounds, Dresden will stuff the jade statue into his backpack before sauntering off towards room 10... not opening the door yet, he isn't that brave.

Interesting The young man comments on the jade statue feigning interest in the trinket, I wonder if we will find any books maybe something a little more telling than just a statue

"Keep the potion for emergencies and I'll use my scroll on Variel, that way we are 25gp up - a copper saved is a copper earned," Tella says producing her scroll reading its contents and laying a hand upon Variel's shoulder. Warm light suffuses his wounds and he is quickly restored to full health,

"There you are good as new!" Tella declares heading for the stairs and ascending to the next floor if she is able.

Cure Light: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

You ascend the spiral staircase to the last floor of the tower where the four wings are completely open, forming one great, cross-shaped chamber with arched ceilings. The decayed remnants of a carpet run from the staircase in the middle of the room to doorways at the end of each wing. The ceiling is roughly twenty feet high and is dimly lit by the daylight shining through the archways.

A large, throne-like chair stands in the middle of the eastern wing next to a big chest. Behind this throne, standing at the eastern archway gazing out at the city in the distance, stands a robed troglodyte. An albino crocodile stands slightly in front of and to the right of the throne, facing the center of the room. Behind you, at the western archway stands a very large troglodyte with a bound and gagged human at his feet.

The robed trog turns around, speaking in a gruff voice while pointing at your group. Snapjaw, lowd. Tulok, svent nomenoi intruders zyak yth shilta nahilnop mrith wer jilnpel.
He then walks around to the throne and sits down.

Variel moves toward the sitting trog on the throne as that is the closest he can reach. He takes a stab at the sitting monster.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 damage with sneak: 1d6 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 2 + (5) = 10
Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 Added crit damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

So total of 14 damage?

Garidan begins speaking near perfect Draconic, cockily speaking towards the robed lizard. He draws his Elven spear attacking along side Variel.

Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Crit Damage: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (3, 2) + 2 = 7

He just drank his Mutagen, +4 Dex, +2 AC, -2 Wis for 10 rounds

BTW, Great going guys, after all the dice rolls recently we now have two possible critical hits in the first round :)

Tulok threw a javelin at Dresden, throwing it wide because the bard headbutted his leg right as the javelin left his hand. Tulok aims a kick at the bard, growling Malai! Jaka wux loreat!

Tella calls, "Take down the tit in the chair and his anemic lizard, I'll handle Mister Sewage Scent over there for the moment," and she rushes over to stand over the bard, spitting in Tulok's face.

"Come on Pongo let's see what you are made of - my guess is dung."

He's going to try and kill the bard, stop him!

Tella gives Dresden an exasperated look, "Look its obvious that he is the product of inbreeding with a brain the size of a particularly puny pea, but on the off chance he understands us try not to let him in on our cunning plans. Did you understand that dung for brains? Don't worry, either way, I'll be feeding you your own balls in a minute."

Dresden's face turns a bright shade of red "Oh! Umm, right." he points at the large Troglodyte and shouts "Err you there, forget what I said... umm Doo-doo head."

The albino croc bites Variel, getting a good grip on his leg. Brenna dashes over to Tulok and bashes him in the side.

The robed trog stands and steps to the side of the throne, speaking a few words and pointing his hand. A bright red, giant centipede appears behind Variel. This lengthy, segmented horror writhes and twists, pulsing its venomous mandibles in search of prey. It finds prey in the form of Variel, biting him in the leg, pulling a big chunk out.

Round 2, Init 23

"Variel!"

Dresden quickly plucks one of the two remaining vials from his belt and gives it a shake, turning to the robed Troglodyte he angrily yells "You'll burn for that lizard lips!", he throws the vial into the wall behind the Trog and it explodes in a massive fireball.

Bomb vs AC 5: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Threw the bomb at an empty square, both the robed trog and the croc take 11 damage, or 5 damage on successful Reflex Saves DC 14

"Ow, some assistance with these creatures surrounding me."
Variel takes a stab at the crock that has a hold on his leg.

The Croc rolls out of the way of Dresdens fireball vial. Robed Trog got hit but badly.

Evasion (Ex) No damage on successful reflex save.
Reflex Robed Trog: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Garidan keeps attacking the Robed lizard, his spear easily able to reach the lizard as he also steps aside

Tulok drew his club to attack Tella, landing a nice strike to her side.

Tella's turn.

Grunting and gritting her teeth as the blow lands home Tella looses a hand down from her warhammer and presses it to the captive's bindings and call's upon the forger's power using her artificer's touch to eat away at the ropes.

"Trying to tickle me you mentally stunted skunk lizard? Better step your game up or I am going to turn you into the world's foulest smelling purse and boots!"

Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 Bypasses 1 hardness.

Tella frees the Bard. The bard croaks out, I am Balenar. I will help kill this interloper but I need just a second. He sits still, rubbing his throat.
The croc bites into Variel agian, he likes the way Variel tastes.

Brenna's up.

Brenna turned her greataxe onto the giant centipede, unfortunately her swing was off and she missed.
After letting his throat rest for a second, Balenar started to sing in a very nice tenor. His song inspires courage in each of you.
The robed trog raises his and a 3-foot-long, blazing beam of red-hot fire springs forth from his hand. He attacks Variel with it, slashing out at him. After he attacks, the robed trog back up.
The Centipede turns towards Brenna and bites her. Luckily for Brenna, the centipedes bite doesn't go through her armor.

Variels turn.

Variel screams in pain as the flame engulfs him. "Medic!" as he collapses in a heap.

Plus whatever bonuses came from the inspire courage, +1?

Garidan side steps left and goes to attack the centipede next.

The robed trog falls to the floor, dead from the vial Variel threw at him.
Tulok attacks Tella again with his club, hitting her square in the side.

Correct, Garidan. It was only the robed trog dead until you killed the centipede. so, two down, two to go.

Face pale, and breathing heavily Tella makes a wordless snarling rooar and sends her hammer thundering up into Tulok's jaw,

"I... could... use... a.... hand... here..." She wheezes, swaying slightly as she remains standing protectively over the prisoner.

Hammer: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 1 = 23 Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 1 = 9

At seeing his master go down, the croc turns on Dresden. The croc gets a good bite on Dresdens leg.

Brenna goes into a rage at Variel falling to the floor. She brings her greataxe up and swings down at the croc but her swing grazes its side, not hurting it a bit.
Balenar continues to sing, inspiring courage in each of you. He makes his way across the room to Variel, pulling his potion out of a hidden pocket. He poured the cure light wounds potion down Variel.

AND the crocodile is dead also. Only thing still alive is Tulok.

By the bye, the croc didn't actually hit in the last round, Dresden's AC is temporarily up to 20 because of the mutagen... well 18 now because he charged.

Variel coughs as he regains consciousness kind of choking on the potion. "What happened?" still feeling weak.

Garidan takes a double move moving behind Dresden

Dresden charged across the room, swinging his longsword at the last standing trog. The blade slashed through him and down he went.
