So just a heads up on my character plans for gear. I don't plan on wearing actual armor, like I said, a 300-esque style phalanx fighter. So if possible, can some of my rewards be Bracer's of Armor?
Ysder
I can see Ysder and Jason being good character foils. The gladiator and the beast.
As for loot preferences, Ysder will probably eat 80% of her winnings, so it's not important.

New and improved backstory:
The small village which served as Ysder's old haunt still passes on the tale of the savage spirit of the forest: a seemingly immortal blood-stained mountain lion who had grown so bold as to walk through the village at night to kill and eat her pick of late night stragglers. Four generations of crofters lost their goats and sons to Yster's clawed limbs. The poachers who caged her weren't the first fools lured to the icy heights by the promise of a bounty, but they were the first to cut away the layers of furs and discover the onispawn beneath.
The poachers decided to double their bounty, and took the wildling to the Bloodworks. She was only kept in the cells(?) overnight before she raked another fighter across the face, and was subsequently thrown in the kennel. The other fighter survived.

Here! Finally! [By the way, can I delete old characters sheets / personas I have from old games? Because they pile up and it's obnoxious).
I pretty much imagine Altan, my Destined human sorcerer, as a blaster caster - I've never been very confident with leveraging the ruleset tactics-wise, though, so if anyone has suggestions I'm all ears.
He's also a bit of an obnoxious troll so I will try my best to provide comic relief.

In the downtime, I'm brooding over the domain I'll pick once I take a level in druid.
Growth is pretty standard for a wild shape build, Enlarge and Enlarge Person are lauded, but I'm not sure I like juggling multiple short-term ability bonuses.
Ice is on-theme and gives me a ranged attack, and obscuring mist can help in a pinch.
Mountain is also on-theme and foothold is a fun utility, and stone fist will improve my claw attacks.
What are y'all's thoughts?

Ysder, I'm not familiar with the Ice or growth domains. What books are they from? As far as mountain goes, Foothold is a neat ability, but I wonder how useful it will be in an arena setting.

Ice is a subdomain of water, and growth is a subdomain of plants, both in the Advanced Player's Guide. The icicle is a feature of the water domain. I don't actually know if specifying Ice will make an enourmous difference anytime soon, I was just looking at what fits in with her story so far.
Rage and Enlarge are just so 'hulk smash' that I'd rather avoid it...
Khomann
Coward.
As big and strong as he was, Khomann was, at heart, craven. He knew he should fight back, launch himself bodily on detractor and bully alike. But equally as far back as he could remember, he shied away from violence. Partly because he was frightened of getting hurt. But mostly, mostly because of Kaul.
At his birth, two of the slave-midwives had fainted. One other was sick. The writhing toothed, clawing creature was a shadow-thing, a translucent caul wrapped around the birthed child. It lasted only a few moments, but long enough for Khomann's mother to be consigned to a slavehouse far away and the child to be sold to a curio-merchant. Who, in time, unable to reliably coax the shadow creature out of the truculent and despondent child, sold Khomann to the Bloodworks. Where goads of many kinds were employed to reliably, and easily bring forth the anger and fear required to coerce Khomann to release Kaul. Kaul who could fight. And tear. And rend. All while the ridiculous visage of ludicrously frghtened Khomann could be seen residing within the engine of destruction that was Kaul.
Khomann does not like Kaul. Mostly. But he loves Kaul like a brother, his shadow twin. The Khomann-who-eats. Khomann who preys upon foes. Khomann-who-is Kaul.
Khomann
No worries DM - take all the time you need.
Note that it takes 10 minutes for Khomann to summon Kaul, so it would not be unlikely that from time to time the overseers might throw Khomann in to a figt unpreoared - without his eidolon...of course he might not survive that way...

It ain't easy being green. Orc children have it bad, especially those born in orc tribes. Being a half breed made it that much harder to survive but numbers and strength is what most orcs look for in their children and Bjorn had it. His name wasn't originally Bjorn but he was given it by the slavers who captured him during an assault on his tribe after a semi successful raid on a human village.
The slavers were smart, taking the orcs by surprise once they felt they had had the raid under control, and slaughtered or contained those that were even remotely weakened or "fresh". Afterwards, once those that could ran, they took whatever humans survived that they could reasonably sell. The group that caught Bjorn were a particularly nasty bunch and pitted their prey against each other to figure out how much they were worth and how best to sell them.
Bjorn proved himself in two different fights staged by the slavers, kill both an unarmed man and an armed slave with just his teeth. Surrounding him after the fights, they beat him unconscious and sent him off to the gladiator pits to be used for entertainment. This is where Bjorn woke up naked and confused as to what would happen to him. The only thing he knew, was he was expected to fight if he wished to live and he planned to live and live free or die trying.
Luck roll was an 82 just to let you know so you didn't have to search for it.

I promise you this is not dead, just a crazy terrible weekend.
Two things have occured, My long term relationship has dissolved in a messy fashion, and the manager at the place I work has passed away in a car accident. I'm defacto in charge now for the next few weeks until The regional director can arrange for us to have someone in charge.
What that means for you all folk is that for the next two weeks (or so) I will probably be too busy to post much, but once things clear back up I will finally get everything firing, just gives me more time to flesh out things I suppose.
Once again Im terrible sorry, but we will get this going in a few weeks

So, interesting hypothetical floating around at work.
Pick one movie. All of the characters except one are replaced with Muppets. What movie do you pick, and who stays normal?
I picked Conan the Barbarian (Original with Arnold), and James Earl Jones stayed human.
What would yours be?
