"Maybe we should ask Ace to change into a girl so he can practice....that's pretty much the same deal right? Cause I remember you from when you were in Fly Free and I'm pretty sure I remember you being a guy...I would have totally had a crush on you if you'd been female back then," she said with a grin.
Ace and Melody walk by at this point "Who is practicing flirting with me as a chick?"

"Nobody, we're just making fun of Dom for pseudo-flirting with Taron."

Sadie Jhiwoon |

"Oh, and do you mind the hilt being metal? I can't work with wood for my life."
he shapes into firebird form and prepares to fly off.
"Well, I guess I can always do a leather wrap for the grip," she says, thinking about it.

Igni Phoebus |

::alright then.::
he flys off, returning in a few minutes. He remorphs carrying just barely enough mithril to make the blade. It's as if he doesn't expect to lose any material at all.
"This one really shouldn't take too long. It's size helps."
he starts superheating the metal in a corner, as to not heat you up too much.

Tryko'Sam |

"Yeah....I've been through a couple reputations like that already....there are worse things than being mistaken for an overly young girl," she said with a grimace.
"Are we ready to go then?"
There's a hearty laugh or two and then Tryko'Sam says, "Any time you wanna share some of those stories, babe, you let me know." Clearly, etiquette is out the window after the laughing.
Looking at the others, he nods and says, "Just waiting on these folks to commit, then I figure we're off. Good luck with that girl and her ...cloth dog. Not sure if it's her's or her brother's." He gives a shrug at that.

Vriskra the shantak |

she rubs his neck, much like settro does to her.
"Yeah... It's one of the few upsides to being me."

Karla Phury |

Karla moved down the hall, her head in a book that Salis allowed her borrow a few days ago and, although it intrigued her enough that she couldn't put it down, she still had a hard time comprehending most of what was written.
"So far Morrivan has been better at psuedo-flirting."
She stopped walking, backed up a few steps, and looked into the doorway.
"Psuedo-flirting?" she asked lightly, mildly confused.

The smell of ocean fills the air and the pair of ancient dragons sink into the portal that had been made.
When Ryleh opens her eyes again she sees she is standing by a beach of white sand, the ocean stretching out before her
No words are said letting her take in the new surroundings

"Ace" |

Ace bursts out laughing "Messin with Dom that way might be a lot of fun. Hmm, could be something to think about for another day."
He looks around for Ginni and spotting her nearby says "Hey babe, Ms Melody here has something cool to ask you." He says with a big grin.

Enre |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

There was a flash coming from his room before Enre steps out taller and heavier to anyone that had seen him before if that was possible. He was not wearing his normal armor, cloak and mask. Now he was wearing what seemed like causal clothes, which were a hoody that had a picture of his mask on the front and a skully with a strange emblem on the top of it. On his back is his massive sword. He looks about a bit before turning waiting for something which seems to be his niece and nephew who come out after him. With that he starts to talk to them "Alright you guys should be alright without me now if you need me for anything just come find me." Both nod before heading off, with that Enre heads off as well trying to see who is about.

She shook her head. "Nobody actually wants to hear creepy demon-child stories."
"Well, maybe if they were about creepy demon-child Jiminy. He always did have a talent for comedy, even the versions that were pure evil....although that thing with the...err....you know what, never mind. Karla looks around and realizes that she's wandered into the SIM rooms and that the conversation she had overheard was from a group of people inside one of the SIMs who appeared to be dancing and playing music. They haven't yet noticed Karla.

Keme Tokala |

"I'm pretty sure that you've run out of folks to heal, but maybe if you hurry you can find a little old lady somewhere that needs help crossing the street," the young man leaning nonchalantly against a (non-burning) wall drawled in an amused voice as Fei finally finishes helping the last of the injured townsfolk.

Midori Tsuyomi |

"Yay!" :D
"Shhh."
"Yay."
"Midori, can you read it to us and we can try to make it?"
"Hai. Let's go to the sewing room, and we'll pick a fabric for you." Midori says eagerly, growing more and more comfortable with the talking bear as time goes on.
Once they're out of the library, she uses the arrows to find their way to the sewing room to begin working on Sara's yukata.

Ardiente |

"You know, things like that really don't help me think well of my father's parents. I only ever met them at formal occasions. I don't know them well. But....they don't exactly have a great track record when it comes to how they treat people."
Ardiente shrugs casually, now that they've acquired some late lunch, they move to sit at one of the tables, munching away at the charcoal. Ardiente's eyes practically roll back in pleasure at first bite. "Great Sun this is heavenly." He eagerly takes a few more bites in quick succession before slowing down - remembering his manners after all. "They had their position to think of. As I said, it's all in the past for me. Even though their methods are questionable, they have produced some wonderful things through their deceitful means, you not least of those." He says with a broad, honest smile.
"Hm. Maybe I am a bit of a flatterer, like Raelle said." He adds after a moment, when he realizes what he had said.

Repp, the Bleached |

Kitty unconsciously slows her stride so he doesn't have to hustle to keep up with her. "Well, I think Michael is impressive. He's kind of a genius. He uses alchemy to create the cutest creatures. Including my familiar, Saffire."
"As far as why Keme has been scarce, I have no idea....I hope it doesn't mean he's plotting trouble. He can get himself into so much trouble so easily and lots of people don't like him because he's so sarcastic all the time, but he's always been nice to me."
"Perhaps I will have to search for this Keme after our lunch and discover what he is up to, as they say." While Repp hasn't outright said anything in thanks for Kitty's slowing of her pace, he does sound grateful in his tone. "I see... alchemy used to create life. That is quite fascinating. And Saffire is not a homunculus or other kind of construct?"
"Have you taken to a path of wizardry since leaving your homeland Tanaka-senpai? Or did you simply learn to bind a familiar in some other way?"

Vai Sunwake |

"Yeah....I've been through a couple reputations like that already....there are worse things than being mistaken for an overly young girl," she said with a grimace.
"Are we ready to go then?"
Vai sets a caring hand on her older sister's shoulder. "Creepy demon-child or no, both you and James are amazing people, alright?"
"I'm ready to go. I could fl-- oh. Rena you can fly too. I can cast a spell that will let you fly if you want Tryko'Sam. Then we can all fly there together." she says happily. Obviously flight is a big deal to her. Her blonde hair is pulled back behind her ears, confident now, especially since they seem to be parting away and she can be away from Vare's strange and unnerving gaze.

Vare, the Summoner |

She shook her head. "Nobody actually wants to hear creepy demon-child stories."
"Well, maybe if they were about creepy demon-child Jiminy. He always did have a talent for comedy, even the versions that were pure evil....although that thing with the...err....you know what, never mind. I reiterate, nobody wants to hear about creepy demon children. Not really. At least not from a first person perspective."
"I wasn't aware that demons took it upon themselves to raise children." Vare says, taking a second look at Ephebe's dreamscape form. It did seem to radiate a certain raw power. "I would enjoy hearing those stories, perhaps once we are done our errand?"

Ehos Denulia |

::So,:: she asked the other two telepathically as they reached the door to the Headmaster's office, ::which of us is going to do the talking?::
::I can do the talking. This is my mess after all. Just... remind me if I forget anything, please?:: He walks up and knocks, before remembering the futility of the gesture, as his tapping on the door produces no sound. ::Er.. would one of you guys?::

Fieri laughed. "Yep, she's got you pegged. You would have made an able courtier."
She nibbled on her charcoal. "As much as I'd like to believe that, being the result of deceitful and downright horrible actions myself and the fact that I rather enjoy existing, I don't think that good results can justify the actions of any of my grandparents. They got lucky now and then...doesn't make them good people. Doesn't make them a hundred percent bad either. Even Grandfather had his moments....but that won't take away from him being remembered for the evil he did during his lifetime."

"No, Saffire isn't a construct. He's a living creature. With an inordinate fondness for fish...and metal. He eats my shuriken fairly regularly."
"Oh, no, I'm no wizard. I have no talent for arcane magic. I bonded with Saffire quite by accident actually. It's something that some of my family have a knack for in spite of not being actual spellcasters. I probably learned how when I was young and just forgot about it. I could teach someone the technique if they wanted. It's not too difficult."

"They don't generally. This one made an exception since the children in question, my brother and myself, can manipulate reality and time respectively. It's a long, confusing story. I'm actually not from this timeline. Gods, I hate time travel," she added with a grimace. "Too many alternate realities."

I'm actually not from this timeline. Gods, I hate time travel," she added with a grimace. "Too many alternate realities."
"And I have no doubt that the demon in question enjoyed corrupting the innocence of youth as well. Despicable creatures." Vare says heatedly. "Still, pardon me if I'm stirring bad memories for you, I simply with to learn. Planar studies are my field after all."

Tryko'Sam |

Gods, I hate time travel," she added with a grimace. "Too many alternate realities."
Chuckling back at Ephebe and Vare, Tryko'Sam says, "See? Some people like stories..." He grins at Vare briefly after his heated comments on demons and adds, "Yeah... something Abyss, you, Abyss... right? Anyway, laters you two."
He then turns his attention to Rena and Vai and says, "So, flying, huh?" He considers Vai and then asks, "How long will it last, how fast can I go, and ... I'm pretty sure we won't need it, unless you really, really want me flying. Which is fine, mind you-- not opposed to that. Wouldn't the country side folks freak out if you're soaring over head though?"
With that said, he starts walking off with the girls saying, "Let's exit the building first, right? Pretty sure this group is splitting up."
That said, he starts heading out, looking back to make sure the other two are with him. "So, if we do get into a situation where there's fighting, who's the war caller, as it were? Or we just doing crazy save our own bacon stuff?"
He'll call up some arrows to speed up the exiting, while walking to follow them, leading the two others away from Vare and Ephebe.

She looked down and noticed a shell in the sand. She held it up to examine it. "What is this? It's shiny like mica."
This place is a statistical impossibility, a planet balanced between two suns, rotating but not revolving, the sand is actually glass, heated by the twin suns... The world is covered in small islands, but with no continents.... All day every day is like this, except for the four annual storms, but those are a long way off

well after hearing you play, and your style is much like my own. I was thinking maybe, you and Ace wouldd rather join Vai, and me in our own band. Its alright if you don't, but i do like your music and i'm sure we could come up with some great stuff together.

"I never even dreamed of such a place as this." She kept looking around. "What else is there to see?" she asked eagerly.

Vai Sunwake |

"The spell lasts a dozen minutes or so, and you can move about twice as fast as walking. It should be just enough to get us to Kuros." Vai offers as the group gradually make their way outside. She shakes her head at the notion of freaking out the townsfolk. "I can just have wings. They... don't like my full dragon form, that was clear enough this morning... but. I think they won't mind if I just have wings." Vai is a little unsure on that point, but seems to be willing to risk it anyway.
"Of course, if you'd rather walk, my legs work just fine. I just love to fly is all." Vai adds with a shrug.
At the mention of trouble and a warcaller, Vai cocks her head curiously, looking more in depth at Tryko'Sam. "I won't leave you behind if that's what you mean. I know how to fight, even if I'm not as good at it as some of the others at the school." she pauses to think about what he said. Given the events this morning though. "Maybe I should bring my sword, just in case. That way at least I'm not scaring people with my dragon form if we need to fight."

Sheessuroussen |

"Well...all glass is made from sand, but it isn't often that I hear of sand made from glass.""I never even dreamed of such a place as this." She kept looking around. "What else is there to see?" she asked eagerly.
He gently turns her around and takes her arm, walking across the surface of the water.... about a hundred feet out he points down. She can see the ocean floor 3/4 of a mile down

Dom Waverider |

"Oh fine I see Make fun of the pretty boy. Oh I see how it is Mel. Wait what! Huh flirt with Ace? I think my brain stopped working. Too much weirdness." Dom sits down in a near by chair holding his head looking very confused.
Dom Glances to the new girl to walk in. He smiles lightly still obviously confused by all that was said.

Ehos Denulia |

The door opens to let the students in.
"Hello again. What can I help you with?"
Mother was already here? Geez, that was fast. He really didn't want to talk bout it now, especially given that his Mom had finally approved of something he had done - namely Jaiye - and he had spoiled it. Still, hiding wasn't going to make anything better.
Presumably with Phaezeriel's help, Ehos broadcasts the following to all in the room:
::So... this morning, I made a bad error in judgement. I was in Kuros and there was a young woman there... the same young woman from whom I bought clothes yesterday, for Jaiye. I... slept with her. Afterwards... I woke up in an alleyway, groggy and apparently with my birth control charm gone, though I did not realize that until Jaiye pointed it out. That was about the time when all the craziness started happening in Kuros, so I forgot about it for a bit. After all that was done, and we returned to the school, Phaeze discovered that I'd had some of my health drained away, and that I had contracted a disease. In addition, at some point I had a mark placed on me, of a demonic nature.::
Ehos pauses just for a moment in order to reorganize his thoughts. He continues in the same empty telepathic tone, seperating himself from the events emotionally.
::We were going somewhere more prviate for a closer examination of the mark when we came across Jaiye, who could smell the evidence of my indiscretion, and...:: he pauses again here, that choking sensation you get when upset communicated through his telepathy. He recovers momentarily and continues. ::And she ran from me, crying. Phaeze says the mark flared and vanished at that point, bright enough to be seem bright in a sunny hallway.::
That was all the relevant facts that Ehos could remember, but he thought he'd add on some of the speculations they had made. ::Jaiye and I have talked this over, so don't concern yourself with us. Kara though, the girl I slept with... we suspect that she may be some kind of poltical operative, or is working with demons to sow chaos. The man who worked the tailor shop and whom she claimed to be her father was killed last night, his heart torn out. His shop burned down today. Ace questioned his corpse, though not much was discovered. Kara is hidden to scrying. We're lost for what to do. If Kara did indeed murder him.. she is dangerous, no matter what she is, or who she is working with.::
With the explanation finished, Ehos slumped slightly, obviously still feeling a deep sense of guilt for his part in the events of today.
