"There's a first. I thought all of you guys knew what she looked like," she said, hands on hips. "About my height, grey eyes, dark hair, looks black until the light hits it and you can see that it's just that dark red, skin covered in what looks like tattoos. They move sometimes, so it doesn't necessarily help to know where they were. Not that you'd be able to see a lot of them if she's outside. You lot tend to bundle up the minute there's a slight breeze, and Raelle's no exception. She was wearing jeans and a red jacket last time I saw her. And she's got a clip in her hair. It looks crazy ugly. It's actually a psionic inhibitor. To keep her from writing equations on anything that stays still long enough, walls are a favorite, until she passes out. If for some reason she's switched into bird form her feathers are a mix of dark and light grey. Since most firebirds have bright plumage she tends to stand out. Like a lot. Is that enough info?" she rattled all of that off quickly, scanning the cafeteria for anyone else that Raelle knew.

I get that the whole sun thing was probably more about your brother. We all know he's got a major crush on her, even if she is dating someone else. But just imagine having to explain this to him later, cause you better believe that I'm not gonna keep quiet. If I'm overreacting then it's a little time lost. If I'm not...."

Where before, when he was last here, there had only been a little bit of red fog near the pillar, now there are billowing, towering clouds of it spreading across the landscape of Ginni's mind. He finds Ginni herself curled up in between the two pillars, knees clutched close to her chest as she tried to focus on staying calm.Phaezeriel moves swiftly to Ginni's side, ::Ginni. How are you holding up?:: He holds out his hand to her. In it there seems to be a small blue star. Feeling almost like cool air pouring off a chunk of ice, the star radiates a soothing calm. ::Take this Ginni, it will buy us some time. Hold it close and try to imagine soaking in the calm that it is radiating.::
"I'm scared," she said, taking the star and hugging it close. "I want to stay me. But the red mist is too strong. I don't know what to do."
As the calm hits her, Phaezeriel can see that the red mist has halted its advance, but it doesn't retreat any at all. It just sits there, waiting.

"Antimagic, huh? Well, I do like a challenge," she said, smiling for the first time in this conversation. "Just lay back and relax. I'm going to touch your temples because that strengthens the connection. And let's see what we can see," she said calmly, resting her fingertips lightly on his head.
Do you want a percent chance to overcome the anti magic or a caster level check?
"Skeletal? How... Whatever."
adon just lays back and relaxes as best he can.
adon has an SR of 36. Caster level works.
1d20 + 19 ⇒ (20) + 19 = 39
Well, that should do it.
Nala sends her awareness across Adon's surface thoughts first, looking for anything out of the ordinary.

Morrivan wrote:"Yes, I do need help looking for her. She's a firebird. Mix of dark and light grey feathers in bird form. In girl form she's about my height, dark hair, looks black is actually red, grey eyes, tattoos all over, she was wearing jeans and a red jacket. She was supposed to meet me by the lake after classes, but she never showed." Morrivan pushed her hair back impatiently. "She wasn't allowed off the grounds to start with unless she was with her family. Cause her dad was worried cause I guess some of the old school types are blaming her for what happened. He thought they might hurt her. I mean, it's stupid, but I guess politics gets stupid sometimes," she said with a helpless shrug. "Anyways, more recently there's been a strong of murders. Girls lured away from the school, or the town, or the camp. Two of the victims were friends of ours. So, yeah, I'm worried about her, and I really hope I'm wrong."Would Cindra have reason to know/know of Raelle?
Cindra looks at her tray, then unceremoniously sets it on a nearby table before looking back to Morrivan, "Where do you want me to look, how do I contact you if I find her, and how often and where should I check in if I do not?"
It's like a DC 5 Kowledge check. There are songs. And poems. The final confrontation with the council is kind of a big deal, and Raelle is very visually distinctive. She finds this all intensely embarrassing. :P
"Uh...I don't know....you can use telepathy right? Use that. My name is Morrivan. I'll wait by the lake so you all know where to find me. If you've checked an area and nothing tell me, and I'll pass that on when the next person contacts me and so on. You guys should be able to cover the school grounds in a matter of minutes. If she's not there, then I have to go tell her family."

"But my food would be as bad for you as yours is for me."
That said, she made a beeline for the firebird section of the food line, heaping a tray high with various charred foods, and a generous amount of kerosene poured on top as well as a couple of carafes of oil. In fact she was struggling a bit under the weight of it all.
Asha also digs right into her food. She has terrible table manners. She doesn't even bother with silverware. She just devours her food as quickly as possible, like a starving person.

Phaezeriel squats beside Ginni, his thoughts gentle, ::The reason it is so strong is because it is feeding off your fear, anger, and hate that is connected to the killer. It is also so strong because .. I do not know a gentler way to put this .. the demon is you, Ginni. But look at me and know this, one can be a demon and not be a monster.::
He looks up at the red clouds, his gesture taking in the whole of it, ::Ginni, this is kind of like another puberty for you. And like puberty, there isn't any way to stop it completely. What we have to do is slow it down a lot, and give you the strength to keep your self intact through the process. It is going to be hard, but you can do it.::
He glances down at the blue star, taking note of how fast it is dimming before he continues, ::I went through something similar not too long ago. When a demon gains a certain amount of power, it undergoes a metamorphosis, similar to what is happening to you now. I nearly lost myself to my demonic nature during that process, but I made it through with the help of a couple of very powerful allies. I will be that ally for you, Ginni, and if I am not enough, I will call in others. We will help you through this. Know full well that you will have the strength to survive this. Take that knowledge and hold it close; it will give you strength.::

Cindra nods, "Okay. I will keep you posted."
With that she assumes her bird form and flies out of the cafeteria.

Ginni's face is very expressive as she struggles to accept this new information. He knows from putting her memories back together how often she was told that she was bad because of her demonic heritage. And how thoroughly she had always rejected it. She doesn't want to believe that she's becoming a demon in spite of the evidence in front of her. But the time he spent helping her process and move past some of her most negative memories is paying off now. Instead of running away and refusing to believe him she looks up at him uncertainly. "I'll still be myself when it's over?" she asked in a small voice.

She attempts to find the relevant memories. It was difficult. His mind was slippery. It resisted contact at all. But she had been born fey. She was used to slippery minds.
