Kalesril made sure to pay attention to the fiends out here. Seemed he had been correct and only the marilith was of any concern. He solidified behind the fiend and struck. A number of blows land on the demoness.

“You started this one.” Michael replies as he fights the effect of the second bolt away. “You never should have called her what you did. I might have let everything else go, but...: Michael cringes as he rips the bolts from where they punctured his armor. “But just like almost everyone else, you've decided not to explain a damn thing.”
He lets the stone spike drop, bringing it down with a sudden and finale effort...
It slams into Vakkler's crossbow. Even in his Madness induced rage, Michael knows he's won and that he doesn't have to do anything else.
“Tell me. Tell me why!”
Vakkler stares as his weapon falls into the water in two pieces. "You...broke..."
He sighs, hearing Michael's last words. He looks up. "Because I am keeping too many secrets for too many people, being forced by my own instincts to consider infanticide, responsible for bringing a serial killer to this school and I AM NOT HAPPY OVER IT. Is that what you wanted to know? People don't act unkindly because they are unkind. They act unkindly because they have problems of their own. I'm sorry I insulted the girl, and I'm sorry I was rude to you. I'm even sorry I tried to frame you for the slurk attack, even though my error was correct. But I did not attack anybody. YOU. DID. You've chased me into this sewer, destroyed my crossbow and because of your violence we're both half dead. If you were being abused by a teacher or a student, there are thousands of ways to deal with it, and NONE of them," his voice rises to shouting level, "INVOLVE THIS! I fought a war as well, boy, for much better reasons. I lost a lot of friends there. Was nearly tortured to death. But it was only when I entered a VENDETTA that my life TRULY BECAME A HELL!
Why did winning... feel so bad? The flame coming from Michael's left eye begins to flicker like it's about to go out.
"You.. you're lying, yeah... have to be, you have too... I'm not... not the bad guy, am I?" The blue flame is only about half it's orignal size. "I was only getting them before they could get me. I'm not... not..." With a sob, the flame goes out and the rock Michael's floating on crashes to the ground, sending him tumbling to the ground with a sickening thud. If not for the now fading armor, Michael might be dead. "I'm... worse than they are..."

Vakkler hesitates. Then he pulls out a potion from his pocket and drinks it down.
His wounds knit over, and are soon mere scabs. The kobold leaps over to a rock nearby Michael and pulls the boy over, trying to drag him out of the water.
Gaelvin is relieved to see two people coming to his aid, he quickly switches songs. The song seems to empower his rescuers as it turns on the surrounding fiends. As soon as a clear path is made he runs around one of his defenders staying behind them and out of the way. He speaks using his telepathy to keep the song going.
"Thanks, I am not the front line type."
"You are welcome." Enre answers as he watches the fiends be effected by the song. Turning to Asch he says "Any idea where they are coming from or if there are tougher things around?"
Michael doesn't put up any resistance, and might actually be trying to make pulling him out of the water easier, but he is still lucid enough to spot the changing color.

Vakkler doubles his efforts, and manages to drag Michael on to the rock.But the water's moving now.
Shaking from the cold water, blood loss, and what ever got into his system from the bolt wounds, Michael raises a hand and tries to make a shield and, for the most part, he does. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it could hold back a stiff breeze, and holes keep opening in it...

The water is swirling violently. It seems like more than one ooze is present.

"No but I'm sure we can find something stronger to play with." Asch says as he looks around for stronger demons. "Let's go. Also if I was you I'd head for one of the safe areas music."
"There is a powerful demon in that direction." Amada says as she teleports next to Asch after dropping off the last group of students
A boulder hits the water in front of Vakkler and Michael temporarily giving them cover from the oozes. The person who threw it runs along the edges of the tunnel and leaps over the oozes landing on the boulder before scooping up Michael and slinging him over his shoulder and grabbing Vakkler by the back of his tunic and dragging him along as well as he ran along the sides of the tunnel wall until he reached a spot where rubble made a ramp up to a hole in the floor. He ran up that and into the hallway. He set Michael down with the wall as a support and stopped to catch his breath.
"The oozes. Are they going to be a problem or will they stay down there?" he asked Vakkler. "And if they're going to be a problem how do we contain them?"
He kept a wary eye out for wandering demons and devils as he spoke.

A tiny slurk hops into the emptying cafeteria. Following Slarrow are the students who decided to evacuate the wrong way.
Following them is an army.of very agitated cave toads.

Fei is unsure how long he had been crouched there on the Cafeteria floor, but the new sounds of screaming and stampeding snap him back to reality. He rises - still covered in the gore of the creature he just had to kill - and sees the cave toads bearing down on the students who ran in.
He races over, positioning himself just in front of the students, and his hands erupt in the same silver-white flame he used on the keketar moments ago.
He yells out over the thundering amphibians. Nobody who knows him is near enough to hear the change in his voice and demeanor, but the students stop, drop and cover up nonetheless.
He sends two wide blasts of flame out just ahead of the cave toads in order to either drive them out of the Cafeteria by the nearby side corridor, or create a wedge so they will go wide - and around the students without harming them.
Alton shuts the cabinet just as a rat fall onto his shoulder, squeaking something in his ear.
"Right. Okay guys, looks like Michael was in Professor Relcav's office. Coal here says that is where the strongest scent trail ends. The office looks like trashed, and there's a hole in the floor. No one was in the office when Coal came here."

The surrounding fiends quickly start to move towards Kalesril but suddenly stop and move back. The marilith looks at the demons strangely.
"What are you doing fools."
Kalesril answers.
"They cant attack me."
The marilith attacks, promising pain to her minions. Her swords and tail flash from a number of angles but only a few find a home as the monk weaves around a number of her attacks.

Fei holds his position between the other students and the slurks until they have all left the Cafeteria. He then proceeds to grab up whatever material he can and quickly put out the flames on the floor before they have a chance to truly catch, calling out to the other students for assistance with this.
After that, he tries to get them to the nearest designated shelter before trying to find others.

Ephebe led the way through winding corridors only just wide enough for them to maneuver through in dragon form and even then with a little difficulty at corners. Eventually they came to a room with teak double doors. She opened the door to a room filled from floor to ceiling with row after row of scrolls. She shifted back to human form.
"I think the stacks might be a bit delicate for a dragon to be squeezing between, but I can bring you any scroll you'd like to look at."
Gaelvin agree's with the suggestion.
"Thanks again for the help."
With that he dashes away towards a shelter, playing the same strange note that banished the fiends before if he comes across any more.
Alton shuts the cabinet just as a rat fall onto his shoulder, squeaking something in his ear.

"Sounds like a decent escape route to me. So if they went underground they could be almost anywhere in the school by now...how do we narrow that down?"
"I got this." He spawns a couple of clones, sends them both to vakkler's office, then into the hole and has them split up. One of them will find the other hole, and probably Vakkler and Michael. Seeing the shape they're both in...
"Found em. We'll need to bring nurses...unless one of you can heal?" He heads in the appropriate direction, sending the other clone to fetch a nurse.

"Michael is injured?" she asked, alarmed. She follows after Ryuzo, having to really restrain herself from running ahead since she didn't know which direction to go.

As she's reaching for a scroll that she though might be interesting to Krays a loud roar comes from one of the rooms down the hall. She tenses. This couldn't be good.
"Okay, things don't just wander in here at any time, let alone when the magical defenses are active...I'm thinking we can rule out natural phenomenon about now."
Staying in human form she heads down the hall to check on what is making the noise.
Fei manages to get the remaining Cafeteria students to one of the shelters without any further engagements. Once they are inside and safe, he makes his way down another corridor to look for other pockets of students cut off from the shelters.
As she's reaching for a scroll that she though might be interesting to Krays a loud roar comes from one of the rooms down the hall. She tenses. This couldn't be good.

Ephebe races down the corridor to the room the noise was coming from. When she got there she found it was occupied by a large masses of writhing tentacles.
"It looks to me like it's from a different region than hell," she said, forming her two chakram made of white flame and started throwing. Except that the blades basically just bounced off the thing.
"Not good."
A little mite creeps through the hallways, eying his surroundings with terror. He slips around a pair of bone devils torturing an unlucky student and carefully dodges the herd of slurks passing by to trample said devils.

Yeah, thats not far off actually...
the concept is his illusions can get closer to taking on a life of their own...but they really aren't much better than shadow conjuration simalcrum...the advantage is he can "jump" between them and replace them...but till then, it's pretty much just a semi-realillusory construct...it was lucky to convery a thought...
They'll get better, but Ryuzo has to play with them more...
Wait till he pops his shadow clones and they actually attack :P

Michael seems to have gotten some of his strength back and he's able to hobble with Vakkler's help.
