Gareth had gone to bed soon after his conversation with Marcell ended. When he woke up he spent some time reading his book again before giving up and going to breakfast.
Belyu goes around making sure people are okay in the morning after the attack. Morale seemed low...
Taron, understandably, sleeps in late. Kam goes to see the eggs for a few minutes before coming back to their room.
she quickly dress and takes one last look in the room. then with a sigh she heads out to meet Jimminy for her detention. make the best of it Mel, you may like this after all she thinks trying to bring up her own spirits and face a new day.
Jiminy is waiting outside the front doors of the school, as promised.
"Good morning," he said cheerfully. He didn't really feel cheerful, but he'd learned early on that morning people were irritating and had therefore learned to imitate that behavior, a habit he had yet to drop.
marcell gets up, and stretches herself out. She looks herself over, then thinks to herself

she starts rifling through her closet, and finds that the uniform is just her new size. She doesn't even ask, and puts it on, and heads out to the caphatira, and gathers up a decent bit of sausages and other meat. For some reason, the other stuff just didn't seem as good. She takes a seat, and eats rather slowly, getting used to her slightly new motor controls.
Though he needs no sleep, Wyrd understands the need others have for it, and he waits until the sun is a handspan above the horizon before he goes in search of Jiminy. He spends the early hours on the edge of Avalon's grounds looking out over the forest and watching the sun rise. He feels a vague sense of loss at times like this, and a sadness in the face of such beauty for which he cannot account.
Vriskra seems to be sleeping in.
settro is already up, wandering around the school almost as if on patrol.
Midori was of course up early, despite having stayed up quite late to finish Chara-chan's yukata... she hoped it was good, as she didn't ahve Ignace-chan or Cariban-san to help her. After bathing and changing into her school uniform, but before anything else... Midori goes in search of Hew...
Midori is lead to Zilla and Hews room. The door is closed and only short movements can be heard on the otherside.
adon's arms and palms are covered in bandages, and he is eating in the lunchroom- his current appetite dwarfing that of dragons.
igni wake up from a dreamless sleep, as per usual. He goes to the lunchroom and eats, completely silent.
"The room is capable of rearrangement. Perhaps you could request a coffee maker of it.

riviarti doesn't feel like leaving bed yet. In spite of this, she comes out of her shell, and silently takes note of her new roommate.

The air in the forest is disturbed as a portal rips open a few feet off the ground, a creature flying out of it and landing on a tree branch before the portal collapses in on itself with a static noise.

Mel give a salute reporting for duty she says with smile apparently looking to be as cheerful as possible blocking out any personal issues for today. it was her personal issues that gets her into trouble and this time she could not afford to have those problems.

Ehos passed a fitful night that night, and Jaiye might have recognized the symptoms - nightmares. Maybe it runs in the family. Ehos had tossed and turned all night, murmuring inaudibly and sweating. If awoken by Jaiye, Ehos claims to have no memory of the whatever his dreams were.
As such, Ehos doesn't wake early, unless by Jaiye's hand.
Jaiye watched over him as best he could although she was fairly exhausted herself. It was strange to be sharing a bed without doing more than cuddling. Not bad strange. Just strange. But since she was curled up next to him she woke every time she had a bad dream. With so many interruptions through the night she didn't wake up nearly as early as usual.
Treisdan is laying exhausted, being crushed under the heavy gravity when his vestiges leave his body...

Creak the bones in his body protest the additional strain...
The hexapodal cat follows the girl, slightly hungry, but not too distracted...
Sorun wakes up as his crab-clock pinches his nose...
"haha... I'm up" he says and sees Sheess is back...
quietly he slips up out of the cave and leaves the dragon to rest as he goes to breakfast

Miss Jones attempted to climb out of the lake somewhat surreptitiously. She'd lost her shoe somewhere, along with her hairpins blast it all. And to make matters worse she hadn't made it back before sunrise. Her blouse was absolutely see through and her skirt was torn along the sides to a point of indecency. She sighed and tried to wring out her hair and the ends of her skirt before attempting to get back to her room without being seen, trying to muster up as much dignity as she could manage.
Seated in one of the chairs in the room, the appearance of which had changed, again, is Tryko'Sam.
He looks pretty much the same rested, healthy person he was all night and day prior, though his outfit is slightly different this time.
"I found a uniform that changes shape..." He says with a grin to the two waking lovelies. That said, he stands up and looks at his t-shirt and jeans outfit, with leather boots. Looks like your common Earth street person, the shirt is pretty much without any writing or logos.
"And ... it appears to change as needed too, if you give it a bit of time." That said, it converts while worn, into a pair of black leather pants, his pirate shirt from earlier, and another set of leather boots.
"Pretty damn cool, huh? Brought some food and drink if you're into the morning chow thing." He motioned to the table in the room, it was more of a high tech, ultra minimalist style now, mostly glass and steel.
On the table, various snacks and fluids that wouldn't go too horribly bad with the passage of time.
"What are you two in the mood for? Go chat with the Headmaster, if he's working on a weekend, or ... roam the landscape, where are you two from, actually? I know, Rena, you've traveled, right? So you're not just from this world, but-- new to it? What about you, Asha?"
As Jiminy and Mel are leaving the school, Wyrd falls into step beside Jiminy from an adjoining corridor. He is smaller today, standing only a bit over six feet. "Good morning. You asked for me to come talk to you. Is this a good time?"
The lab at this point is basically an empty room. Even the security lock is gone. There is a note tacked to the door.
Notice: Due to a massive security breach yesterday a security protocol was activated that resulted in the destruction of everything in the lab in order to preserve the security of the rest of the school. I sincerely apologize and will incorporate measures in my new design that will safeguard student work against such events in future. The lab should be back up and running by Monday. -Aananda Sunwake
Phaezeriel stands looking at the, obviously, un-secured door reading the note tacked to the front of it with a confused expression. Then he yanks the door open and steps inside, looking around the empty room in disbelief. After several minutes, and with a heavy sigh, he turns and leaves the room, headed back to the cafeteria.
around midnight zix finally makes it back to his room where he can open the portal to the one exit of the demiplane, he opens it and then removes the student from within.
"Until yesterday I was living on the sun..uhh...not the star the ....I guess it's something called a satellite now? It used to be the source of heat and light when the planet was inside out and now it's not. Of course I spent all that time locked up so I don't really know much about it. Never will now. It's going to be destroyed tonight I think or tomorrow morning or something. I'm not really sure on the timing. Anyways, the evacuation was what gave me the chance to escape," she said, burning some more food in the fireplace sighing with pleasure as the flames eased her aching muscles.

"Good enough. We can talk while we walk. We're headed over to the launch area by the factory. I wanted to talk to you to find out if you have any interest in shipbuilding...of a sort. I can show you what I mean, but these are special ships. The kind that might even give us a sliver of a fighting chance against what's coming."

Wyrd considers as he walks with them, after a few moments he speaks again, "I have never considered the prospect of building ships. I am not opposed to the idea, and it would likely be more interesting than classes are." He nods decisively after another pause, "I would like to see what you are talking about."

when morning comes and zix finally makes it to his room he sits down, somewhat exhausted, he had been working all night, he may not need to sleep but that did not mean he did not get tired, he glances out of the corner of his eye and spots the controls to his personal demiplanes, and then jumps up, remembering the student trapped in there, he briefly checks to be sure the wards are active and opens the portal, he then travels back to the start of the maze, and picks up the student carrying him back to the gate and from there to the infirmary.
