Worried about the child seeing the horror all around them Carl ports them both to Staff or older students outside in the school grounds.

[i am assuming like most school the place will be evacuated in emergences to the grounds]

Once he gets her away safe and to others he will port back.

For the record, if there were any other patients besides Hew and Zilla? they were with the zombie masses... please adjust accordingly. Sorry if that wasn't clear. The initial explosions and cloudkill effect wasn't selective at all. Someone blew this place to hell and then raised any remaining bodies as zombies, more than once.

Just remember-- unless you /knew/ Hew was in here hospitalized / resting, how would your character know these facts? That's one of the goals of this scene, the horror of all these poor people being slain, reanimated and slain, to be reanimated and blasted into bits by the various students that showed up. Hew /could/ have been one of those zombies, people wouldn't have known (potentially). He would have been a shorter zombie though, heh.

Read, sealed off and protected from the cloudkill effect And when I came to about the time she would have run out of air I was being pulled out of the rubble by this person," she said indicating Tryko'Sam. "Thank you."

There have to at least be some benefits to being the Champion of Luck. ;)

"I need to go back," she said more steadily. "If someone took out the infirmary I'm probably one of the few people here still capable of treating the injured. I have to go back."

Still peering around, Tryko'Sam says, "Just make sure it's safe first-- if this is an organized attack, we might want to check on the other students and strategic points-- what is as valuable as the infirmary? There were a couple flashes of light and people with tech there, blasting up the ...I guess zombie looking people."

Tryko'Sam looks between Nala and Ryuzo, then back off and around, as if anticipating something else might jump them in this hallway.

While the wards may be down, the nanite security system is still msotly operational. Aananda has gotten several 'pings' of attacks throughout the school, as well as video feed. In one feed, Ace, Jaiye, Ehos and Setttro have defended against an unseen opponent. In another... strangely her own daughter has started attacking her friends. Finally, there are several reports of Lycans being attacked and killed throughout the school, with the same weapon with which Jaiye was attacked.

The masked man ebbed into existence as if shadows oozed him out of nothing, his soft robes making no noise, his mask is black leather that was roughly tanned with a crude slash for a mouth

The assassin easily jogs next to the scientist passing through walls of stone as easily as she does

My second favorite thing to do with my hands... is reserved for someone very special to me." He thinks to himself. :I really hope she is not the type to take that as a challenge.:

ok going to handle this like any other meddling timelord would with words and inspiration...its really all mel has.

The dust manages to give mel the oppurtunity she needs. A break in the zapping.

Mel slowly takes a step or two toward vai.

Then timelord leadership ability. diplomacy: 1d20 + 28 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 28 + 5 = 37 this will give vai a will save to fight the possession with a +4 (crappy roll, could have been up to +6) the bonus lasts for 5 rounds giving her a try each round

Another Will Save for Vai vs. being dominated: 1d20 + 15 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 15 + 4 = 20

"Fine," she says tersely. "My son seems to think that you can be a useful ally. Prove it. Help us find the person attacking the students. My eldest daughter is tracking them now."

Aananda skids to a stop as she reaches the infirmary.

"Anyone alive or wounded, get them out of there right now. I need to do some specialized cleanup immediately or we're going to lose any chance of resurrecting any of the dead," she shouted as she pulled out a vial of nanites and started programming them. "I'm going to program the nanites to sort and recover the ashes of the dead after which we can get this room cleaned up and get some semblance of a medical facility again. But I need all living folks out of there first."

A bolt of superheated plasma streaks by, frying some of Ephebe's hair and giving both her and Albin superficial burns. The wall it blaps into is melted.

The assassin - the time traveller - finally lets go of their invisibility, and appears before Ephebe as she's standing up. The attacker is definitely a woman - 5'7, fairly slender all things considered, and she's holding a vicious looking weapon which is spinning back up for another shot. "So, you survived in this timeline." comes the voice... very familiar to Ephebe. She can't /quite/ place it though.

Any details of the attacker beyond her height and build is hidden by her uniform an helmet. Full issue Imperial armour and helmet. She has a utility belt strapped on.

"Well, at least until now." And the gun is raised, and plasma spews forth again.

Had we done as the female had instructed and disarmed ourselves, we would not have been able to rescue the survivors of the explosion from the reanimated victims. It is exactly because we have the instruments she had said would cause pain and death that we were able to keep the life of those there with. Perhaps she had been far more wrong than we had expected. And what of their security measures? Why have they not stopped any such attacks yet?"
The normally quiet bot has been given so much to ask. So much to think about. So much to learn.

Good God! that's hellacious for a non buffed perception check! Even with my character min/maxed out there is no way I can get close to winning! Only ace comes close!

He thought for a second. "Well I used to creating enjoyment for others and myself, but the last few days have changed that to my second favorite thing. Now I believe it would be spending time with my love. Which hopefully explains why I'm still getting used to not flirting."
