ok for what little its worth I see the current scene as follows.
Grim standing there (not disarmed) watching over midori ready to step in if needed.
Renkai has released and/or back off not wanting any further provocations.
Lang seeing the two seperate themselves. and at Midori's plea to stop goes over to see if Midori is alright. (she has already been healed by Grim at this point.
Lang did not take any action against either person merely vocalizing the same plea as Midori.
Midori hasnt been healed as of yet... that part hasnt played out...

Lang, that recap of the scene works for me.
Since both of the boys thought that they were protecting Midori and to the best of my knowledge were neither of them trying to use lethal force nobody went to detention. It was a minor scuffle. Nobody really hurt.
ok so both of the hits happened him kneeing me and me hitting him in the head with the pole part of my scythe

Yes.

and you backhanded me, but in any case I meant the last one as a joke
thats true.... but I figured going NOT IN MY HOUSE was better than doing a 360 and swinging a big chunk of pointy metal on a 15 foot chain at your head.... which was the alternative...
so *shrug*
:)

I'm pretty sure you get a save for that. You should.
Edit: ninja'd. Yes, you get a save.

{NOTE: THIS IS DISCUSSION NOT ARGUMENT}
I have a stick, nobody is scared of a stick...
You arent watching me... I get six attacks
you go from level 16 to level ten with no save because I get to channel as a swift action and you are flat footed...
| The Assasin |
that would mean you would have to enchant the object twice at a 95,318 gp per enchantment... an enchantment that so far as I know is only for scythes.
its a channel energy Enchantment?
and we dont use Gp here... we use... Hmmm.... I'm not sure... but I do know it only counts as 1 weapon no matter how many sides it has

his lasts only for the first hit, and requires a swift actio.
vampres can only apply that drain once a round.
oh okay, that makes it much less overpowered... I thought it lasted for a certain amount of time
scythes are not double weapons. they are two handed yes, but with a spike at one end its a double weapon.

no it lasts for 6 rounds (eg one round per d6 of energy channled, and expends one use of chanel energy) whether or not I hit every hit
The wielder can channel negative energy directly into the scythe to charge it with life-destroying energy for 1 round per die of channeling. For example, channeling negative energy for 5d6 points of damage fuels the scythe for 5 rounds. While so charged, the void scythe bestows one negative level with each hit. One day after being struck, subjects must succeed at a DC 16 Fortitude save for each negative level or the negative levels become permanent.
Black energy utterly consumes any creature that is slain by the void scythe, leaving no body behind but leaving the creature's equipment unharmed. A victim of the void scythe can be restored only by true resurrection or carefully worded miracle or wish.
just to be clear this isn't an argument, right?

you can add a spike?
I did not know this.also sorry typo I meant to say two handed thanks for catching this.

Actually, no, his scythe causes a negative level per hit for a number of rounds equal to his channel dice.
If i were the dm, I'd nerf it to behave like a vampire's negative levels, but that's me.
Instead of a Blade, a swathe of absolute darkness inimical to life tips this scythe. It functions as a +1 brilliant energy scythe, except the Blade is formed of negative energy and gives off no light whatsoever. The wielder can channel negative energy directly into the scythe to charge it with life-destroying energy for 1 round per die of channeling. For example, channeling negative energy for 5d6 points of damage fuels the scythe for 5 rounds. While so charged, the void scythe bestows one negative level with each hit. okay, so its a legendary weapon.... my point remains valid...

Two things:
1) Whenever I see a post by any of The Dalesman's various aliases, it makes me smile a lil bit. I not only know he's doin okish, but I often enjoy reading his stuff.
2) In WoW's new expansion, Mists of Pandaria, a new Asian influenced continent is opened up.
Anyways, in one of the main quests, I was at this rather important temple and there was this little npc Pandaren girl who sends you on a few minor quests, named Fei.
You eventually realize she's an uber dragon spirit, though her name changes.
Still think its really cool her name is Fei.
| The Dalesman |
Well, shucks. "I'm not sick, but I'm not well" as the lyric goes... (=^-^=)
And I promise that Fei is neither a dragon, nor a little girl, nor a panda. In case anybody else was wondering. Yeah...awkward commentary, this.... (o_O)
;P
Anywhoo, time for me to prep some dinner for the returning wife, whip myself up a nice nightcap, and park my tuckus in bed. Night all. (^-^)
