I always want to get reinvolved in this game...but its just grown to large for me to keep up I think. At the beginning it was a comparatively small group now....I'm not sure what's up from down. I miss Asch's particular brand of crazy maybe we'll fully rejoin...but I don't know. I feel there is to many stories going on and I'm not even sure where Amada and Asch fit in any more. Asch being the only Dhampir in the school at one point (or at least the only PoV one) was interesting but now there seems to be more so it takes away from how I played him trying to refuse his bloodlust.
*sigh* We really do want to continue these characters....it just seems so....difficult at time.
I don't think there are any other Dhampirs currently, Asch. Though I do understand the size of the group thing (really though... there are about ~12 active players... jsut seems like more cause there's lots of characters).
Asch and Amada are Champions... so they'll always have that at least. I kinda want Vai and Asch to meet. Light and Darkness. :)

Ok, I didn't realize they had dropped....that does help...anyone have a general number of "active" characters.
Active meaning none teacher since they are more npcish.
I'm sure there's some kind of story to this but I was wondering, why doesn't Amada have an alias?

This is because I leave people marked as active if there's any chance they are coming back. The ones who drop off the face of the earth I mark as inactive after a while, as well as anyone who requests it. But for those who have said they just need a break and might come back I leave it marked as active.
Also, if it helps, the built-in cover story for Asch and Amada is that since they are Tamrin's apprentices that their disappearances happen because they are being sent out on assignment to help the Resistance. So long absences are just because it's been rough out there lately. And since they've been out on missions they're a bit out of the loop as to what's been going on back at avalon. So you can play it up as being totally clueless about changes which helps with getting back into the swing of things plotwise.

Thanks to Taron's failed attempt at assassinating Emperor Mezzenbone the Empire has been targeting the Resistance and anyone suspected to be allied with the Resistance, branding them all as dangerous terrorists, resulting in the deaths of millions of innocent sentients....Asch and Amada have been out rescuing Resistance operatives/contacts and trying to mitigate the damage as much as possible....so you probably need to beat him(er, I mean her) now AND later. But you'll have to wait for later because it would be bad for the eggs since they have a strong empathic connection to their mom.
So tired. Old bed demoed and in the dumpster. Had to do it by myself cause the kidlet was so upset about losing the old (much too small and not terribly sturdy) bed that his dad took him out to run errands while I tore it down to minimize the trauma. Why didn't he do the demo while I took the kidlet? Cause I've forbidden him to touch the toolbox. He's not careful with my tools and he breaks stuff and some of that stuff is expensive dammit. So now I get to assemble the new bed. Sigh. Yet more moving of heavy things all by myself. I'm sure it looks amusing since I have to drag most of it due to my incredibly pathetic strength score. Well, actually it's not so bad compared to my con... :)
Anyhoo, sorry for keeping anyone waiting today. I'll try to get a few posts up before I get back to work.

He will act to 'defend' someone if they are in trouble though, depending on the perceived threat levels.

Feel free to control Vai for the dispel, if it'll get things moving Lurch: do note though that with her negative levels, she currently has an effective caster level of 7, which means she may be useless in that endeavour (unless the level drain is removed, in which case she is 12).
If anyone wants to acknowledge the unconscious half-gnoll, the scroll is of dispelling. They wouldnt do that without bringing one. . . .

I'm not on my ADHD medication (don't take it during the summer. Much happier self that way.) witch has a side effect of insomnia. Removing it, my lack of sleep caught up with me, and now Im nearly asleep at about 5 or 6. I may not post much till i get used to this.
