It'd be nice if the map were updated. I thought I had moved to a spot you didn't have cover in.

Seeing Ezra start running, Gorik follows "Oh, come on, I admit that's a smart choice, but we're supposed to be defeating each other. Running doesn't get this done any faster."

Circling around the tree, he lets fly another arrow.

Move to Q or R 9 should negate cover I think? Last I heard I was at G8, so I should have 30 feet of movement still past Q9 for positioning if need be.

1d20 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27
1d8 + 14 ⇒ (5) + 14 = 19

Attack and Damage. And if I need to recast Divine Favor, I may be sad :/ I think it's 1/10 now?

Male Half-Orc Oracle 11

"So you're not mute after all, hmm?" he asks. With that, he flapped his ethereal wings once for some distance, considering her offer.

"I don't see how a truce benefits me. A surrender might make things go quicker though. You don't seem to be having much luck in this fight, do you?" he asked, with a sarcastic grin.

Female Human Fighter(Two-Weapon Warrior) 11

"Yeah well I figured this fight would be my chance to fight people who fight like Real Men, True Warriors. Not little girls whom act like men but fight like cowards. You bear Orc Blood yet you fight like an Elf. What's worse is if I placed my bets without your Magic you couldn't last a minute against me. If we stop fighting and take this chance and start anew we could probably start a Fair Fight or at least a fairer fight. You with fully recharged spells and me with my wounds healed."

Stopping she takes a deep breath.

"Besides I figure you are an Oracle. Either that or you are a cleric with a wounded leg. I doubt a God would want to lose a servant regardless of their circumstances. Plus you must have goals other than winning this contest. Why don't we make a deal. We rest up and recover our full strength then start anew and fight using Acadian Dueling Arena Rules. No death if I was to fell you in battle I would revive you using a Potion, if I fall you revive me. That way we all can return home and achieve our goals."

She takes another deep breath and removes her helm revealing her face framed by shoulder length red hair. A scar running across her right eye and vague orcish features showing. "Just because we are enemies doesn't mean we must kill each other. Or would you rather prove my people right that anyone who even has a hint of non-human blood can't fight with honor?"

Male Half-Orc Oracle 11

Gorik hovers, suspended in the air. "Your notions of honor are..." he trails off for a moment, before a smirk spreads across his face and he chuckles, "amusing," he finishes.

Lowering himself to the ground with ease, the wings vanish and he winces slightly as weight returns to his leg. "Your failure to overcome my 'cowardly' fighting style speaks volumes for what your honor," he spoke the word with a bite of sarcasm, "really does for you, doesn't it? I don't doubt that you would beat me on an even field of combat, standing toe to toe, but, while I don't know how you've practiced your little duels, that's not how 'real' battle goes, is it?"

He grunts. "But... I've had no interest in killing anyone from the start here. If you fall, I will see to it that you receive healing anyway, 'Acadian Dueling Arena Rules' or not. If you'd like to call a truce, for now, very well, but you'd best be prepared to counter the very same tactics you've seen already, because I won't hesitate to use them again."

He slings his bow over his back, and crosses his arms, turning partly away, but looking back. "One last thing you have in error: I serve no one," he growls, "be they God or mortal. Do not call me a servant again."

Female Human Fighter(Two-Weapon Warrior) 11

"We all are servants of something. Whether it be a God, hatred, or our own pride."

As she walks to take a seat on the rim of the fountain she looks back, "And what I called cowardly was the invisibility."

When she found her seat she pulled part of this days ration out to eat.

"You wouldn't happen to know if those tentacles outside these walls would be the "Great Old Ones" would you?"

the game will continue tonight. the last session ended with Ezra and Gorik trying to come to terms with the battle. everyone else will be added in when we start at 9 tonight.

The Necropolis - Day - Late Morning - Tomb Day One

it also ended with Meredith enraged at Nico's inability to drown and nico clinging to life and coming to the realization that he doesn't see his horse around.

Vassel and Brice just arriving in their towers.

I am calling a pause because something is happening and i need everyone involved with those first battles to deal with the situation. life is about to get much much harder.

Displacement cannot be placed on a Ring of Continuation. Only spells that are range personal and have a duration of 10 min/level or grater can be paced on that ring.

So you will resolve the First two battles before any others start?

Just asking. I think two battles at a time is a good pace and keeps things in order.I can wait.
