The Elusive Jackalope |
Did someone have orc listed? I only saw half-orc, but I might have missed it. I was hoping to keep it to the core races at first, but one player has strong interest an aasimar. As of a little while ago I decided that I will broaden what is available for use. Any of the listed books are allowed, everything else (including non-core races) will be given consideration; if you have a good character concept for a non-core race, feel free to submit it. I will not be accepting custom races for this campaign, though.
Arknight |
TEJ,
I've got a concept for a human, found as a baby by a party of Arctic Elves in the snow. The leader took him in, and raised him as his own. as he grew, he had to prove himself time and time again. He trained as a soldier, and by accident discovered he had arcane abilities as well. Sent to train at an elven academy, he learned how to blend the martial with the arcane, and joined an expedition leaving from Mordant Spire as a guard. Once the expedition returned, his adoptive father informed him that he had word of his real family being near the starting village of the RoW AP.
Would you allow him to take the Spire Defender archetype? He's taken Adopted (Elf) as one of his traits...
Ragznor Shardzcar |
Manzcar here submitting Ragznor winter witch. Crunch in profile. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for your consideration.
Ragznor Shardzcar is a descendent of Baba Yaga who rule the frozen realm of Irrisen, and she possess a unique power stemming from her otherworldly origin and ties to cold magic. She is a winter witch living outside of Heldren studying magic and perfecting her hexes. She is known and is not bothered due to the healing that she is willing to give to those that will venture to her hut in the woods. She lives there alone with her arctric fox Icycle and her trusted MuskOx. Ragznor has a desire to learn and increase her knowledge, especially of the arcane. Ragznor is tall and slender with long white hair, crystal blue eyes, and an even tempered attitude.
DM Jelani |
Sorry, I was thinking 10 rounds. My mistake. Summon eidolon is great, but it's a second level spell so you won't have it right away and it competes with ever precious haste and evolution surge spell slots.
Not saying it's a bad idea to play a synthesist. In fact they are my favorite class. Just saying there are time considerations if you're going to walk around 'un-suited'.
Tirion Jörðhár |
I am currently putting together a female Assimar(Idyllkin) Bard(Animal Speaker) of gnome heritage. It is midnight and I an not getting this finished tonight. Hopefully I will have it done by tomorrow.
If this seems way off line or is going to completely miss the party please let me know before I put the time in to get her finished in the morning.

Erdthira Raskin |
This is Tirion's application. Working on finishing the background at present. All the crunch is finished. Should be done in another 30 minutes.
Female Aasimar(Idyllkin - Gnome heritage) Bard(Animal Speaker)
-- I will probably change the Avatar as this character was built as a Fetchling for another campaign.
The Elusive Jackalope |
Now for the part I hate most.
After some thought, I've decided that I think the best mix of characters for a party will be.
1. Castiel the Strange (NG half-elf sorcerer)
2. Embrianna (NG half-orc ranger)
3. Sonja Half-Shield (CN human rogue)
4. Zahim Dhal (NG human cleric)
If the players of those characters would kindly make any last minute changes to polish them off and check back in here before tomorrow morning that would be excellent.
Every character that was submitted was truly awesome.
If for some reason a character needs to drop out, I'll have the remaining PCs vote on which character in this thread they feel would best compliment the party to replace them and invite the player of that character to join the game, so there is still a chance that you may be involved in the campaign.
Thank you all for applying.
Castiel the Strange |
Just a couple questions for my fellow adventurers:
Castiel the Strange -
I was just wondering how crazy you are planning on playing the character and how capable he is of regular conversations?
Also, was wondering what deity he worships? I noticed that you took the Birthmark trait, but didn't notice a deity to go along with it?
Capable enough he may sometimes trail off, add things that dont make sense or not quite grasp things others have no problem with but is otherwise capable of regular discussion.
A Faith trait does not require a diety. His faith is in himself and his belief that something he doesnt understand has chosen him for some reason. He believes that his Rabbit is important somehow and must be protected. He also swears hes not crazy.
I rushed the background to get in at 10 am It still needs work.
