Narrator

The goats are spread over the area.

"No. They all should be in the building." McCleagh replies. He orders the guards to pick up the body to bring it back.

Female Human Pirate (7) AC19/14/15, FRW+7/+9/+4, Ini+6, Perc+12, Sail+13

Besmara looks around for some signs where they went. "It would be helpful to have someone who can read tracks"

Where is a ranger if you need one.

Noonan tries checking around
Survival: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

Narrator

The track is rather easy to read - at least for Noonan - and leads over some small hill and to the shore. Which isn't all that helpful because there it ends and the creatures are in their element again.

Female Human Pirate (7) AC19/14/15, FRW+7/+9/+4, Ini+6, Perc+12, Sail+13

"B&&++%%s." Besmara curses. "Any ideas?" she asks the others.

Male Gillman Water Kineticist 2 ____ 34 HP

"Let me look." Trytton says walking out into the waves. He soon disappears from sight to look below the waves for their quarry.

Narrator

You can't see very far and there are no tracks to find in the water. In close vicinity to the shore is nothing to find.

I assume that you take a look around and then go back.

Male Gillman Water Kineticist 2 ____ 34 HP

Trytton surfaces, "There is nothing near, want me to search for them?"

"It would be helpful to know where to start with that search. For now we have a marriage to celebrate and a funeral that already ruined that. No need to make it worse with a fruitless search." Besmara replies. "Let's go back."

Narrator

And so the group walks back to the tower.

Perception DC 20:
You notice something with the ripples on the water being wrong. Thus you're not surprised.

But just as the door is opened to let you all in a group of eight sahuagin spring out of the water and charge towards the door to get in.
