Besmara looks around for some signs where they went. "It would be helpful to have someone who can read tracks"

The track is rather easy to read - at least for Noonan - and leads over some small hill and to the shore. Which isn't all that helpful because there it ends and the creatures are in their element again.

"B&&++%%s." Besmara curses. "Any ideas?" she asks the others.

"Let me look." Trytton says walking out into the waves. He soon disappears from sight to look below the waves for their quarry.

You can't see very far and there are no tracks to find in the water. In close vicinity to the shore is nothing to find.

I assume that you take a look around and then go back.

Trytton surfaces, "There is nothing near, want me to search for them?"

Estelle will go as well. Helping with the moving of the body.

"It would be helpful to know where to start with that search. For now we have a marriage to celebrate and a funeral that already ruined that. No need to make it worse with a fruitless search." Besmara replies. "Let's go back."

And so the group walks back to the tower.

Trytton steps back and coalesces water from behind the sahuagin and plows it into the closest.

Estelle charges after the creatures as they try to get in, kicking out the back of the knee of one of the creatures.

And one tripped. But Estelle runs into the attack of one of those who tried to block such attacks.

Two of the sahuagin fight the guard in the door.

The others try to fend off the pirates

Noonan rages against the fishmen

The fishmen don't have what it takes to stand against Noonan. Another one gone.

Lito moves before the door drawing his rapier to try to keep any more from getting in.

Estelle will pummel the creature she knocked down.

The two who pushed in are on their way up the stairs while the other two still block the passage.

The one Besmara threw all her daggers at is heavily wounded but still standing.

Estelle will charge up with Lito, allowing the man to slip behind her so that she can take the brunt of the attacks.

"Back me up!"

Trytton throws a blast at the ones climbing the stairs.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Damage: 3d6 + 8 ⇒ (4, 6, 1) + 8 = 19

Trytton prepares a blast of water to shoot the sahuagin moving upstairs. But with them already being on the way and Estelle and Lito after them there is no way to hit them. But the sahuagin that didn't get proper attention yet is washed away back into the sea.

Lito moves up to where he can target the two on the stairs and then casts glitterdust on them in hopes of blinding them and slowing them down.

Will DC 16 or blind on both of them.

One of them stumbles as he is suddenly blinded, the other continues onward. Estelle catches up with the blinded one and gives him a good beating.

As the last sahuagin opens the door to the dining room he is greeted with a bolt. And before it can reach Lady Smythee she shoots another one.

But the effect is rather limited.

Noonan goes after anything fish related but seems to be blocked by the others. He runs up the stairs

Lito literally runs past the shark in the doorway and blind one on the stairs to get himself behind the shark that dares to threaten his wife.

If I need to take AoO to get there he will. But he wants to end engaged with the one that ran up the stairs so it has to draw an AoO if it tries to go after Agasta.

Noonan gets the attack of opportunity

The last one outside gives in to the weight of daggers pulling him down.

As Lito reaches the dining room he finds his Lady engaged in the fight.

Estelle will burst in steps behind Lito after finishing her fishman off.

"Why are they attacking now? The music wasn't so bad!"

Rosie shrugs and charges the fishhead. "The fish stinks from the head and yours stinks to high heaven." she insults the creature - no matter if it understands it.

Together they bring the sahuagin down.

Sorry about running off, I thought everything was down due to the 'last saughin' thing

Besmara collects her knives from the body and the surroundings. "That attack could have worked if we were not here." she comments. While taking the knives she checks the body for other valuables.

Besides their tridents they didn't bring anything.

I forgot to tell. Hold Person doesn't work on them.

Estelle will stalk around the rock with Owlbear looking for anymore of the fishmen. Upon finding none she will come back to the main chamber, moving up in front of Rosie. A big smile will stay plastered on Estelle's face.

"Ye heard me, it wasn't that bad. Guessin' I will have ta be payin fer some lessons fer ya as well as whippin' yer as into fighting shape."

With a big smile and a laugh Estelle will stand there a waiting Rosie's reply.

Lito rushes over to his wife.

Are you hurt? I. can get Sandara to heal you if you are!

"Tis but a scratch." Agasta replies. She sheathes her cutlass and picks up the crossbow to put it away.
