Lito will see if Grok is still awake/open for business.

If she is he will ask with his biggest smile:
So what would it take to liberate that Fiddle in there? I know Rosie is a foul mouthed little pain, but I think a little music would do wonders to help crew morale...

"Ye fought well old timer, ye didn't stand a chance though, blind eye and being beaten as ye are. Next time maybe ye will get me."

She touches his shoulder then goes over to the rest gathered at the rails.

"It's the same as with all of it. Whaddaya pay?" Grok asks with her most beautiful smile.

Narrator

The evening passes on. Lito gets the fiddle for five gold and wins a new best friend on returning it to Rosie. Once the party ends everyone is fast asleep after a day full of hard work.

As the morning bell rings Plugg receives them as usual. "Ye go with Krine." he states and points out Trytton, Besmara, Lito, Estelle, Noonan and Jarrus. "The rest of you does their works as usual. And no slacking. I want te ship shining from keel ta crows nest."

The six are greeted by Riaris Krine. Krine’s skin is darkened from countless days on deck under the sun, and her nose has the appearance of having been broken several times over. One of her legs has been replaced with a wooden peg leg. She may be the most viletongued wench the group has ever met, and her language makes Rosie Cusswell sound like a nun.

"You are going to learn how to enter a ship today. So you lower the jolly boat while I explain to you what you'll be doing." Krine orders.

"From that jolly boat you're throwing a grappling hook at the Wormwood. You tie the rope off and climb up and enter the ship. And because that is too easy for you I'll have some of the others throw garbage at you."

As the boat is lowered Krine takes two of them with her to do the training. "Come over ye rabid, nose pickin' worthless streak O' pee! Who dasn't make 't on the ship will get six lashes"

Narrator

Rules:
- Throwing the grappling hook is at -6 to hit AC 5
- The climb check is DC 15. You need four of them to reach the ship. You miss it by 5 and you're off the rope.
- If you're hit by trash, you make a DC10 Reflex Save or you fall off the rope.
- The sea is calm, swimming is DC10 and you can take 10 on it. If you don't make it with that just sink to the ground. You're no good as a pirate.
- You got three tries to get over.

Procedure is: You make your climb rolls - 4 successful ones or until one fails - check if you're hit on the way - one Attack per climb check. Make the reflex rolls. Restart if it ended in the water.

You go in groups of two
Estelle, Besmara
Lito, Trytton
Noonan, Jarrus

At the rail of the Wormwood stand four of the pirates that don't like you as much.

Besmara climbs down in the boat. "I'll be captain of this ship. Who's going to row?"

Anyone eager to put his/her sailor skills to good use?

After rowing for some time you reach a reef 200 feet north of the ship where the water is shallow. The waters are calm (DC 10 Swim checks) and clear. You approach a superb coral reef, measuring approximately 100 yards square, lying between 5 and 30 feet below the surface. Many crabs inhabit the reef.

It's a DC10 perception check to spot a crab and a DC10 Swim check to dive down to catch it.

"What a wonderful day! Out on the sea in the sun with this perfect reef. Have you seen these colourful fish? And these... what are these things growing on that?" The wards flow out of Besmara's mouth in awe.

Finally she stops looking for new exciting things of the reef but starts to actually look for crabs too and jumps in to get some.

Fell asleep since it's like 1am here

Jarrus climbed down into the boat thinking at least he'll be away from the crew for a bit. Once at the reef he does his part. He leaves his pistol on the boat since he'd prefer not to get the thing wet so he puts it under his seat then dives into the water.

After getting the last crab he returns to the boat. Once onboard he casts Prestidigitation to quickly dry himself off and puts back on his gear. He watches the others swim for a bit then rows the boat back from where it was slightly drifting away. Unlike swimming Lito seems reasonably good at the whole rowing thing.

From between the nice and beautiful corals come two spikey and clawy creatures who think that it's only fair that if you collect crabs to eat that they in exchange get to eat you. They look like spikey eels with claws attached instead of pectoral fins.
