Dangit![/b], the halfling thought as the bolt flew true and punctured the goblin's bulbous head. [i]I should have used that line I said on the first one on this guy! I would have sounded amazing! He scowls at the frustration of being denied such an awesome one-liner as much as the grudge he has towards the goblins, and notices that most have moved on from here.
Then the Sheriff arrives, mentioning that another goblin pack is close at hand. "So, we're looking for an ugly goblin, Sheriff? Anything more specific than that?" He smirks at his joke, and rewinds his crossbow, reloading it with another bolt. "Of course I'm in. You've got my bow. Crossbow. Whatever."

Kaedric watches as Gilly runs to the aid of the fallen, the somber paladin looking down at the felled goblin at his feet. His polished armor was now stained with large splashes of blood, his face dotted with crimson iron. He kneels over his enemy and clasps his holy symbol, whispering, "Iomadae, grant these pitiful creatures a manner of comfort and redemption." He remains silent as the others speak.
Eventually, he stands and answer the call of the needy, speaking stoically, "Say no more; I'm on my way." Kaedric whips his falchion outward, shaking some of the blood from it before hoisting the back edge on his shoulder and proceeding deeper into the city, eyes glowing furiously.
If the path of the group takes them pass Gilly Davorik will reach out shouting for her to follow along, More goblins this way. Let's go.. If she does not respond, he will grab her arm and point in the direction they are going.
Gilly certainly hears Davorik - she isn't deaf - she just stares at him, squinting and trying to figure out what he's saying. She doesn't understand, and says something in Celestial that sounds a bit helpless. She shrugs, but when he grabs her arm, that she understands and nods a bit, ready to follow.
