Cassian:
Gozran 10/Janiven
She starts just a few moments before him, her body squeezing his. When his weight falls onto her more completely she reaches forward, snagging the bedpost to keep them both upright, getting her own breathing under control.

She straightens, stretching as he strips. Comes over the the tub, her thighs perching gently on the edge of the tub, "So far the spoiling has been pretty reciprocal." Smiles at him, "What do need the Mammon coins for?"

Nightshade Casing
Cassian is able to find all the nooks and passages that he'll need. (1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14) The only thing that really concerns him as he scopes out the props is the heavy tang of acid inside a thick glass tank built into a beast creature.

Additionally, the unfinished state of the backstage would make Cassian think his theft will need to wait until the cash gets back to the Limelight, since the money collected at the door will most likely be under close observation during the performance.

Gozran 12/Calseinica
Still blushing hotly but smiling the minx rocks slightly forward on his lap. "...so you want me to move away from you..." leans forward to kiss him. "... strip... slowly... carefully..." kisses him again, "...and then you'll watch me... as I think about how I feel when you touch me... and I'll get to watch you?" Her lower lip pulled in to her mouth as she gets to that last part, worrying at it as she makes sure she understands.

Gravlax:
Gozran/In the night
She thinks about it, "If anyone we know can magic poison away."

She reaches for his hand, "I'm in. Anyone else that you want along and then you just have to figure out when you want to do this." A pause, "After the play at some point?"

Theater Week
The correct follow up would be a high kick coming down on the back of his neck. Mathalen's response is to go to her knees next to him, her hand rubbing his back, "You okay?" (Technically she would be initiating a grapple and provokes an AoO.)

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Mathalen
Her hand comes forward, taking the key. "If you didn't need to be at your best tomorrow, I'd keep you up all night." Her eyes widen slightly, her ears turning red as she realizes that she said that outloud.

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Arael
Arael looks up at him, "She's a tomb raider, a thief and she explains it all away by being a Pathfinder and saying she is doing it to explore history."

He smiles "... but perhaps it would be a bad idea of a wanted criminal to go waltzing onto Westcrown Island to attend a play."

GM:

Gozran/In the night

"After the play," Gravlax agrees.

Theater Week

"I'm okay," Gravlax says. "I cede this match. Is there anything specific that you would like to practice?"

He slowly stands. "Or is most of it the sort of thing that you'd rather not use on me unless I do something to deserve it?"

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Mathalen

Gravlax flushes as well, and steps forward to give her an embrace. "Rain check?" he whispers when his mouth is next to her ear. And kisses her cheek.

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Arael

"Words do have power, says the scribe," Gravlax says, a smile flashing across his face. "And the difference between a wanted criminal and The People's Hero is very small indeed."

Gravlax shrugs. "That one is often posthumous. Let's avoid that. If you'd really like, I can get here early tomorrow morning to work on a disguise for you for the evening. You can attend backstage if you're willing to work as a stage hand."

Brief laughter. "Not, however, the most intelligent choice."

GM:
Gozran 10/Janiven
He gives her a soft kiss at that comment.

With the tub filling, he slides into it, groaning as the hot water works on his muscles. "Thesing tried to hire me to kill a man whose only crime was knowing that pompous ass. So I'm setting Thesing up as an associate to the Bastards of Erebus." As he speaks, he strokes her thigh absently, a tender contrast to the normal savagery of their lovemaking.

Nightshade Casing
Cassian swears under his breath at the discovery of the acid. Satisfied he's learned all he can, he'll return to the mainland to talk to the others.

Gozran 12/Calseinica
"Does that sound like something you want to do?" he asks, stroking her hips, her flanks, her sides and almost to her breasts. But he skips over them cruelly.

that you might not have thought to have initiated such a conversation is not in and of itself remarkable she finally says. that you found my motivations for doing so baffling is so far removed from what i consider a normal response that it seemed to me like the reaction of a dangerous lunatic

since in the one other significant interaction we have had you also behaved like a dangerous lunatic i thought it best to begin assuming you were one

"Because you're the authority on normal and what is or isn't behaving like a lunatic?"

He takes in a breath, releases it slowly. His voice is steady, almost quiet, the tone dry. "Look, I still don't know what in the hells you're talking about. And honestly, I don't much care to guess. So you can either speak plainly, or you can continue to be obtuse and talk past me, ...it's up to you. Either way, I don't much care." He shrugs.

"You play your part. I'll play mine. I signed up for this. So did you." He did consider her words though. "The only spot I don't care to be struck is over my heart. And that's only so you don't muss the makeup that will cover Pharasma's mark. Other than that... try not to damage anything that will keep me from finishing the play." Seems like common sense to him.

Azhar looks across at Rev, blinks a couple of times "Um, yes...at some point, but not anytime soon." he takes another small swallow before continuing. "Thinking of doing something like her cousin in Sandpoint; do a little adventuring, get enough to set her up with her own business, then we'll see if she would rather work the store or do some more traveling." he pauses, before adding "We've got a date with a beach in Sargava where lightning strikes regularly, at the very least." Azhar looks like he's thinking, still looking over at his brother. "She's not totally useless, you know, Rev."

Rev frowns at Azhar's naivety. "I know she's not useless, Azhar. She's brave and smart, pretty, curious about things. I've seen the way you look at her. I understand. Really. I do." He begins. "But I don't think you really understand what life is like for normal people, and how different that life is from the one you lead. You were raised by successful adventurers. Do you have any idea how many of those are out there?" He seems to expect an answer from his little brother. His tone, even his words, make him sound a lot like their father for the moment.

Gozran 12, Limelight Theater: Day 7 - Dress Rehearsal/Act Six
The rowdies in the back of the theater calm down somewhat during act six, the effigy disappearing back to whichever dark hole it had been hidden in. Granted they are a little let down by the lack of combat against the legion of hell, but they knew what they were signing up for.

Gozran 12, Limelight Theater: Day 7 - Dress Rehearsal/Act Seven
Short and sweet, no combat, no trial, just a bit of banter between Larazod and Haanderthan before the Prince of Hell should arrive to drag Haanderthan to Hell.

Perform: act from Larazod, all other actors may aid his roll. This does mean you need to use a Perform:act for this particular check. All bonuses granted by hard work and friendship can be applied. Anyone who has ranks in Perform:act can roll twice and take the better. (Actors in scene: Haanderthan, Ilsandra, Larazod, Drovalid, Dentris, and Tybain.)

Rev:
all right Melilot says. i will attempt to speak as plainly as possible

i would consider the following reactions those of a crazy person: 1) failing to understand why an ally might wish to consult you before being put into a situation in which they are required to do you injury 2) failing to understand that using a power that injures your allies is an unacceptable combat tactic 3) failing to understand that an objection to the use of this power stems from the fact that it is inherently unacceptable to injure your allies rather than from some kind of personal obsession with unfair distribution

all of these things point towards a lack of understanding of the rather basic fact that sane people regard injuring their allies as an extremely bad thing the avoidance of which should be highly prioritized she says. i neither know nor care why you lack this basic understanding but until you do i would recommend that you avoid situations such as adventuring where you are likely to be called upon to use any dangerous abilities

have you considered a career in the theater she suggests. you seem quite good at it and this particular play aside it is unlikely to put you into dangerous situations

Rev:
Her head turns following his movement as he rolls onto his back, her smile's wattage growing. She doesn't jump to the suggestion that she start, but instead moves slowly purposefully, straddling his thighs, holding her body just barely touching his as her hand glides up and down his thick, wet member.

Leaning forward she kisses him, rising to her knees to accomplish the task. On the way down she slides onto him and then starts to move, energetically but with care for just how her body squeezes him. Her hands rise on his hips, her arms pushing her breasts together, giving the bounce as she rides just a little extra zest.

Rev listens to the rant. At her little quip at the end, he replies, "Can you be at least half this passionate on stage tomorrow? Because I think that will at least get you somewhere." Bites his tongue before he says anything more along that line, attempts to at least address her concerns, since she seems so passionate about them. "Right. So next time, let the enemy kill you rather than maybe hurt you a little while taking out the guys trying to harm you. I'll keep that in mind. So... does that mean I should also not include you when healing? I'm only asking because I don't want to offend you with any more unwelcome channeling, and since I can leave only three people out when I channel, this way I'll know to pick one of the enemy to heal instead of you."

"Oh... gods... woman." He watches her first as her hands work him, and then as she rides him, transfixed completely by the way her body moves on top of his. He meets her kiss, raising up a little to meet her. Props himself up on his elbows for a while, so he can see his shaft move in and out of her. Watching her breasts move, with the way her arms frame them, makes his member swell inside her, expanding to fill more of her. His hips are narrow, his slender yet masculine body toned, with not an ounce of fat to spare. Falls back against the bed after some time, fascinated with what she is doing, with her. And now that his hands are free from supporting himself, they find her hips, move up her sides, to her breasts. Plays with them as they move to the rhythm she sets.

perform act(untrained assist): 1d20 + 1 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 8 = 15 all known modifiers included
perhaps Azhar was feeling a bit let down by the lack of combat, even though he should have known what was coming. It's still an adequate supporting roll, I think.

Azhar:
Gozran 2/Glassworks
She smiles, "Westcrown dinner, five if you can make it." Which should give more than enough time for a leisurely dinner and still time before curfew.

Gravlax:
Gozran 8/In the night
Smiles, nods. Turns, climbs up to Gravlax's window and pulls herself through.

Theater Week
She stands up as he does, "In general only when you really deserve it." Smiles, "I can think of.... one I want to try now." She steps closer, her leg between his and behind slightly. She is definitely going to try to trip Gravlax, it is clear in her eyes. This, of course, provokes.

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Mathalen
She makes a happy murmur low in her throat as he kisses her cheek. Then, more seriously, "Rain check. If you aren't hurt. If you get yourself hurt during the play... well, don't get hurt, much better if you don't get hurt."

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Arael
Arael looks excited, for all of a a few minutes, then he shakes his head. "Let's go with smart... the last time I did what I wanted instead of what was smart, I ended up needing to rescued by you all."

Cassian:
Gozran 10/Janiven
She looks at him, "He really is a pompous ass... Anything else you need to turn him into a political and social pariah?" Small goosebumps form on the thigh he strokes, just the smallest catch in her words as she tries to focus being useful.

Nightshade Casing
Cassian manages to get back to the Limelight before the dress rehearsal finishes up. (And you can start the warning of Azhar and Melilot in any manner that you would like.

Gozran 12/Calseinica
Her breathing gets faster and faster as his hands creep up her sides, her eyes growing wide and just the slightly hint of a pout as they reverse course. Her blush remaining strong, "With you. Yes." Looking down slightly as her blush reasserts itself with the actions linked to those words.

Rev:
She moans as she feels him grow inside her, movements growing just a tad more erratic for a moment. She smiles down at him, "Gods don't have anything to do with it."

Then, a shoet while after he begins to to play with her breasts, she impales herself on him, body convulsing around him, her upper body falling into his hands.

Rev shakes his head at his brother's answer. "The survival rate for people who go out and adventure is 1 percent, Azhar. You're doing more than just taking risks. A 1% survival rate is not a risk, it's murder." How can he make Azhar understand? "Azhar, what if, after all this affair is settled, she says yes to you, but wants to stay at home, not travel the world, not be an adventurer? Will you give up adventuring for her? Because leaving her behind like some sailor's bride is a terrible thing to do to a woman. Never knowing if the person you love is going to come home. Having them be absent for years at a time. Do you understand how lonely that could get?"

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Mathalen

"Agreed," Gravlax says, serious as well. "This is why I am off to see a half-elf of our acquaintance. The mystery aspect makes me nervous, but I think we can handle it."

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Arael

Gravlax nods. "Keep it in mind as an option for the future. Given a bit of warning, I might be able to disguise you well enough that Janiven wouldn't recognize you." Gravlax tips his head to the side. "She might be a good test, actually." Gravlax looks back at Arael. "So, what do I need to know about the daggers and potions?"

"Perhaps. I could use someone to tip off the Dottari," he says. "So are you going to join me in here, Jan?" He slaps her thigh. "I'm running down your leg."

Gozran 12/Calseinica
He caresses her side again, this time from her ass to her shoulder. His voice, soft and rusty, "Well, let's get started then. What do you want me to take off?"

Azhar and Melilot:
Both Azhar and Melilot receive a monkeygram.

Rev, Gravlax, Melilot, Calseinica:
after the dress rehearsal, or during an appropriate break
Azhar calls an impromptu meeting of the 'defendants' in the trial. "Our um" he glances at Calseinica, "..security...has come across a couple of things that I thought it wise to make sure everyone was aware of. First there will be an Asmodean priest on the scene. Don't know if that will be an issue or not, second, the 'beast' will likely be filled with a liquid that I am probably the best equipped to handle for any length of time. Once we are 'devoured', I think our priorities should be, make sure Calseinica is out of danger, healed if necessary, and gotten out of said beast. I can support the rest of you, if needed to make sure you are not standing or swimming in any of the pooled liquid. Beyond that, I can't say what other dangers we may face." he pauses, looks just slightly uncomfortable. "Oh, and depending on what is left of my costume, I may need assistance in trying to keep up the semblance of being an old man...and possibly not being as badly damaged as perhaps I should be."
He looks around at the others, "anything else we should go over?"

Azhar, Rev, Melilot, Calseinica:

that is exactly the kind of bizarre false equivalency that has me convinced you are a madman Melilot says. assuming that was an actual question and not some inappropriate attempt at sarcasm then no i do not object to your healing me

but you need not feel obligated she adds. and if you genuinely do not understand the difference then my desire for you to stay home rather than do either is redoubled

Azhar:

His face is void of all emotion, his voice quiet, almost cold, except that it's not cold... its filled with grief. "I did not know you could be so selfish. It takes a moment for him to qualify. She hasn't your training or your upbringing. If you love her, if you want her to have a good life filled with a future, please... let her go."

It is quite possible Azhar has never seen his brother like this. Rev who never gets close to anyone, who doesn't even let his brother into his deepest confidences even though he willingly shares lovers and fights at his side. "She's a good person Azhar. Don't turn her into a killer by letting her be what we are. We are not good people. We slay and we take and we loot and destroy. This life changes even the gentlest people. This isn't about father's statistics. This is about whats right. Either she will perish at the hands of a monster or she will be irrevocably changed by the experience of surviving and slaying creatures and people... and that will be on your head. ...Azhar, I've known you your whole life. I know youre dead set on this foolishness... But I insist... Azhar, Calseinica, Gravlax, Melilot:

Rev does not look surprised by this revelation. "Any ides who arranged for the asmodean priest or the liquid?" He asks his brother.

Rev:
Melilot suddenly looks very tired. She fiddles with a couple of knobs on a torc around her neck.

GO F*#% YOURSELF THEN a deep bass voice rings through the theater sometime after the audience has left.

Rev:
Then she turns and leaves.

GM:
Melilot finds Janiven.

i am not undertaking any further missions with rev she says flatly. whether that means assigning us to different teams telling him to go or telling me thanks but goodbye

he is insane and a tactical threat to the group and i will not work with him

Note to GM: I am ooc completely serious about this. It is difficult for me to conceive of a way for Melilot ever to trust Rev enough to work with him at this point. Since that is likely a problem if you like I will finish up the play and then attempt to come up with a new character crazy enough to put up with this crap. Sorry to be a problem player and cause you grief as a GM but holy f#%! if I had known I would be working with evil nutjobs I would have introduced a different character from the start.

Azhar listens and his words do seem to have some impact, but he contniues to resist. "Rev, a person can die in their own home, the more corrupt a government, the more likely that is to happen. There were already bandits roaming the streets and looting businesses before we got here. Of course she doesn't have our training, that is why I'm training her. This is not a utopian society we live in where everything is flowers and sunshine. This is Cheliax, and I want to give her at least a fighting chance and if not, move her to somewhere else! I will not have her locked in a padded room 'for her own good' so nothing can hurt her. It is up to her to choose her own path and decide what she wants. Whether to continue to experience what life is really like, wherever it may be or stay narrowly focused in her current profession. That will be her choice. Not mine, certainly not yours. Hers. I will not be forcing her to do anything brother. I am not a magical creature, I do not even have my former presence and magnetism." he laughs a little ruefully at that, helping to calm himself down. "She is her own person, Rev. In the end, it will be her choice, and I will do what I can regardless of that choice."

Rev wrote:

He is also quite sure of what he wants, and also that, in the end, he will be letting someone else make that final decision. Will he be settling down into a life of running a shop, perhaps, but not for a while yet.

It is clear that he and his brother have very different views of the world. That had always been the case, but never when discussing someone else's best interest. He actually found there argument somewhat...refreshing in a weird sort of way.

Rev, Gravlax, Calseinica, Melilot:
Quote:
Rev does not look surprised by this revelation. "Any ides who arranged for the asmodean priest or the liquid?" He asks his brother.

Azhar shakes his head. "Nope. Though um, security says it's a sacrifice to Asmodeus, so I'm assuming it's part of the play. Could be wrong."

Melilot Took wrote:

Azhar looks over in that direction. A clearly surprised look on his face.

"Don't like the sound of that," Antonio says. "Did security get a sense for if the sacrifice was to be one of us in the course of performing the play?"

Azhar, Rev, Calseinica, Antonio, et al:
well given that 'security' has been having strong suspicions of a plot to kill calseinica she seems like a likely intended target

delour originally seemed like a strong suspect which is why i was trying to smoke out a potential conspiracy centered on her with strange behavior she says. but following up on that to see who might consult her about a possible leak seemed to indicate she might be simply hoping for calseinica to die rather than aggressively pursuing it

still i think there is a good likelihood that she arranged for the acid but is leaving it to chance who gets killed by it thereby putting calseinica at risk but keeping her conscience nominally clear she continues. recall her reassuring calseinica regarding the safety of the beast

but thesing is known to try to arrange assassinations and therefore cannot be entirely discounted and whoever is behind it nonon may be involved simply as a practical matter she adds, so perhaps we should ask 'security' to find out who has been purchasing huge quantities of acid recently

speaking of which since we know it will be acid perhaps instead of azhar throwing himself into it for our safety we should simply purchase a great deal of baking soda and neutralize it beforehand

"Personally, I thought this play was normally supposed to be fairly lethal. That's why it was supposed to be a novelty if we actually survived. I could be wrong." Azhar shrugs,

"That...actually appeals to me." Azhar says thoughtfully, "coming out covered in foam with costume intact is probably a whole lot better then no costume at all." he looks thoughtful, "it does foam right?" shrugs, "Good idea, Mel. And thank you." he pauses, "Umm, who's going to get the baking soda?"

Rev goes over to Azhar. His expression mirroring his brother's.

Mana:

She writhes and convulses her pleasure. When her upper body falls into his hands, he catches her, lowering her gently to him, he wraps his arms around her, holding her like the precious wonderous woman that she is. "Are you alright, lover mine?" He whispers.

Male Tiefling

Azhar:
"All it takes for evil to win is for good people to do nothing? Seriously? Where do you get this stuff from? Is there some kind of palladin training manual your mother let you read when you were young and impressionable? You sound just like her. What you fail to realize is that the world isn't good and evil. Its mostly shades of grey. And while I agree with the sentiment, the actuality is much more complex." He looks at his brother, a steady appraising stare. "You have the makings of a good man Azhar. Even though you have me for a brother, and are thus already dammed." He offers a small grin.

"Of course it's shades of grey, Rev. But the fact is you can choose to try to do good, or you can choose not to. It's like swimming in the surf off the coast of whatever that island was called that we got shipwrecked on. Either we were getting closer to shore or we were being dragged out to sea. There were too many other factors that we couldn't even see that were effecting us, but we sure as hell weren't staying in place. Our only choices were to try to get closer to shore....or not. It's the same with good and evil."

Azhar shrugs, he knows there are shades of grey, but the more he can keep things black and white, the better. He looks back at his brother, "& I'm not damned just because you're my brother." he says, almost challengingly, "you know I'll do my damndest to try to pull you out of hell too. Just need to take it one step at a time."

Male Tiefling

Azhar:

Rev retorts, Deamon's don't go to hell Azhar. Hell would be easy in comparison." Of course he is serious. After all, his mother made sure he understood completely what her realm was like. "and you still cant save everyone." Rev fully intended on saving himself. Pharasma had shown him the truth and set him upon the path. He would find his way.

Male Aasimar Ranger Skirmisher 16

Rev:

Azhar shrugs, apparently completely unconcerned with technicalities. "The point is Rev. I don't have to save everyone. I can't make a difference to everyone. But for the ones I can save, it'll make a huge difference won't it?"
Azhar has returned to the quiet self assured demeanor he normally wears.

Male Tiefling

Azhar:

All of a sudden Rev smiles. "Took you long enough to figure that out." He ribbs his little brother.

"It will make all the difference." He adds, quiet, serious, thoughtful. All of a sudden in need of a drink. He fetches a second bottle of mead, resumes his seat, takes a drink. "So what are you doing still sitting here? Go find your girl and talk to her. She's likely better company than Ill ever be. Mush. Go on." He makes shooing motions with the bottle in Azhars direction.

Rev:

response depends on what day, time it is. Will try to look into it when can...just not now. :)

Azhar and Rev:
Post that started the scene: HERE I AM.

Per that, the scene is happening the night after Ailyn stayed over, which is the evening after the auditions, which makes it on Gozran 5 - after Azhar's dinner in which Yuuki cooks the pig.

Male Tiefling

Mana and Azhar:

it does say, day or evening when Azhar is available... so it could also happen before dinner

Azhar, Rev, Melilot, Antonio, et al:
Calseinica looks around at everyone, "So we need to buy large quantities of baking soda, sneak it onstage...." She looks confused, "And then explain the foam as..." Her voice peters out as she can't think of a logical way to explain a foaming monster.

"Can't we just ask Millech or someone for some kind of magicy protection and then pretend the acid is burning us?"

Male Tiefling

Azhar Melilot Antonio Calseinica:

Rev nods to Calseinica's words. "That kind of magic is pricey but doable."

Mana:

are there potions that give acid resistance or protection from acid? How much are those? 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 spellcraft

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Azhar:
Gozran 2/Glassworks
At the door, Amaya looks up at him, minx smile on her face, "Didn't you already kiss me once today?" Her words a quiet whisper.

Gozran 5
There are a few import places where Azhar can pick up sake. (Price as wine.)

When he arrives, Amaya opens the door and the smells that wafe out of the building are fantastic and carry the hints of some flavors that he has only had at the Rusty Dragona and a few other Tian establishments in Varisia. She tucks her bangs behind one ear, and with a smile, "Hello Azhar, how did the audition go?"

Gravlax:
Theater Week
Mathalen is down 11 NL, Gravlax down 17 NL.

Her eyes brighten slightly when she realizes he won't let her get away with her tricks without a fight. (1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11) Her first attempt fails, but she surprisingly tries again. (1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18) Which comes close, but still fails. She shoots Gravlax a playful glare. "But apparently you are far too good at staying on your feet. Must be the sleep standing."

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Mathalen
She looks at the key, then him, "See you at your place." A small smile on her lips.

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Arael
Arael thinks about that, "Not for the play, security to get onto Westcrown Island makes it took much of a risk. Later, so I can go back to helping people instead of being imprisoned here, yes."

He pulls himself out of bed opening the box, motioning to the four vials, "Emergency healing, cure light, one for each of you, just in case. I understand the traditional play allows for long opera breaks, which should let you get costume and body recovered for the next act." Motions to the knives, "The enchantment should last for about thirty six more hours. It doesn't really make it hurt any less, but it helps seek out parasites like rot grubs, makes it easier for you to cut them out swiftly, which means less pain in the long run."

Cassian:
Gozran 10/Janiven
She looks a little startled, then shakes her head with a small laugh. Moves into the warm water, her skin moving against his. "I am trying to think if correspondence from the tiefling leader of the bastards would be good evidence or too much of a set-up. We have Palaveen's writing and Scalvo is decent at faking documents." Her hands rub against his hip and waist as she thinks.

Gozran 12/Calseinica
She shivers in response to his roaming hands. Her hands moves down from his should over the leather armor. She smiles, "Armor first?" She thinks, pouts slightly, "Which means I have to move off your lap, doesn't it?"

If Cassian assents, she slides forward a little to kiss him one last time before sliding off, stopping in front of him, just within an arm's reach.

Rev:
Gozran 4/Ailyn
She smiles, she voice quiet, her muscles shaking, after shocks of her orgasm still running through her, "It's been a while since I've done that all night fantastic mind-blowing sex thing. I think I may be out of shape."

Gozran 12/Emergency Planning
Resist energy is a second level spell (3rd level caster) which would last more than long enough for the scene where the resistance is needed, but each potion costs 300 gp. Resist energy communal is a third level spell (5th level caster) for 750 go which would give everyone 10 minutes, which *should* be enough for the act. Additionally, Millech does seem to be a wizard of some kind, based on supporting illusions, so that could be one route that could be tried.

Gozran 13, Limelight Theater: Six Trials

As soon as you show up, you are bustled into costuming, people ensuring that both costume and make-up is perfect. Oddly, at least to the crew, there is a single lily of the valley attached to Tybain's tabard directly over where Antonio's heart would be when he put on the costume.

While it isn't a rushed job, they are quick since, as Nonon explained, there would be a small parade aspect to getting to the Nightshade over on Westcrown Island, but that you should all be ensconced in the stocked and comfortable green room backstage of the Nightshade a good two hours before the play starts (right on time at 4pm) so that Millech and the stagehands coming with him can get the feel of the stage.

Theater Week
Mathalen is down 11 NL, Gravlax down 17 NL.

"Sleep standing pays off again," Gravlax says. "Practice. Give it another try."

...and assuming she threatens again,
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
1d3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 nonlethal

A matching smile on his, as he nods and heads off (in a roundabout fashion) to the safehouse.

Gozran 12/After Dress Rehearsal - Arael

"Thank you," Gravlax says. "And is there anything besides disguise -- apart from eventually freeing the people of Westcrown -- that I can do or get for you?"

Gravlax's tone is entire sincere.

Azhar, Rev, Melilot, Calseinica / Gozran 12:

"We could ask Millech," Antonio says.

To Rev: "How pricey?"

Azhar, Rev, Melilot, or DC 15 Perception / Gozran 13:
Antonio hands around the flensing knives. "About twenty-four hours protection," he says. "They will seek the rot grubs so less cutting is required," he winces as he says it. He also hands out a small bottled potion to each. "Light healing, courtesy of same."

One cure light wounds potion each to Azhar, Rev, Melilot

Male Tiefling

Azhar Melilot Calseinica Antonio:
750 gold to protect us all for ten minutes is the cheapest I can think of. Rev answers.

the next day
He takes the knife with a small nod of thanks. Seems surprised at the healing potion.
