Morrigan shuffles through the snow over to the two 'corpses'. She bends down, studying them briefly to satisfy her curiosity and trying to determine if they were animated solely by magic, or if they were sentient creatures of some sort.

As the party clears the tree line at the top of the small mountain they see a pass leading into what appears to be a crater that is the peak of this place. Above it spinning the the sky a great cyclone made of snow has formed. It has yet to touch down however the could in the area are beginning to move in for national around.

1 the area is a volcanic caldera
2 this storm is similar to a hurricane in form and will spawn smaller storms that may split off and wreck this region.
3. The source of whatever the heck is going on is in that caldera
4 there is actually a planer disturbance in the area.
5 there is a lot of magic flowing through the area more than may be healthy....

As you pass through the pass you step out onto a thick sheet of snow covered ice in the caldera. In the distance though nearly blinded by the swirling snow you can make out a few make shift huts. Beyond that sitting in a depression in the ice is a large blue orb that must be at least fifty feet across.

What is the architecture of these huts? i.e. Do they look Taldoran in style? Or do they look 'foreign'...like they might have arrived with whomever is behind all this?
