Sigh, no its not. By now you all should know how the machine gods dislike me. Well today my power supply died on my computer. I can't order a new one till Saturday and wont get it till sometime next week.

Sorry guys I am gonna have to ask you to bare with me as all my maps and notes are on my pc. I'll recreate my notes and try to keep from falling to far behind till I get my pc up again.

Laptop took another step towards death last night, I now have no USB ports and therefore no mouse (it does not have a PS/2 port). So if I do disappear you know it has moved onto the happy hunting grounds in the sky.

Okay, you guys are freaking me out. I feel a sudden compulsion to run home and back up my computer...

I got it all backed up online and on an external harddisk.
I should be somewhat safe to not lose my data.

I found a site called Carbonite who do a 15 day free back up of important data and only charge £41 per year. It is an active back up as well, so anything you tag, gets backed up.

So far it looks pretty good.

Much better than dragging all the files off on a 4Gig SDI card as I was doing and then loading them onto my wife's school lap top.

Life with out USB ports really sucks, but Windows 7 is nice.

Ok guys I got my pc running today. However when the Power supply went it took my motherboard with it. So I had to replace that and ending up changing pretty much everything and reinstalling windows. I have all my files backed up on a 2nd drive should have them all back on here tonight and start updating again by Sunday.

I had hoped to be able to update while my pc was down but that didn't happen. We should ba back up to speed by Sunday night or Monday morning guys. Thanks for being patient with me here.

Good to hear! Sucks when the computer goes; this one dates to 2001, so I'm holding my breath every day.

Unfortunately I am typing this from my phone as my laptop died on Friday. It has gone to the big computer heaven in the sky where it can run wild, free of operating systems. Hopefully I can keep up my posting from the phone, but it might be a bit irregular as it is a pain in the bum to do from the phone. Feel free to DMPC Ardent if I hold up play.

New laptop is scheduled for delivery today, it is a well travelled lap top. Shangai, Dubai, Cologne, Manchester, Tamworth to Cannock in less than 30 hours. I hope they redeliver tomorrow when I am actually in the shop.

Real Life has jumped up and smacked me in the face recently. As a consequence my posting will be rather erratic for a bit as I only have access at work.

Anything from the APG would work, assuming Seeker allows the spells.

OK, all updated to 7th level. Note that I caught a few mistakes from my previous post about what I wanted to purchase - I had listed alarm and true strike, which were spells I already had access to. So I removed them from the list. I also scribed a few other spells (couple of 1st and a couple of 2nd); everything should add up correctly and I deducted the money.

EDIT: I also took Reach Spell as my feat from APG. Let me know if it's not OK to use and I'll revise.

I also noticed some discrepancies in my character and have corrected them (I seem to have miscounted my skill points).

For my spells at level up I'm taking
* Glide (it's a transmutation spell from the apg)
* Share Language (I think it will prove useful later and it fits with my high linguistic skill)

I believe I've finished raising Finn another level. I took the feat "Enforcer" from the Advanced Player's Guide (free demoralize attempt whenever Finn does nonlethal damage with a weapon), if that's okay.

I realize that the wisdome boost would benefit his monk abilities. Frankly, I think Finn could use both items really. It would bring his ac to 19. Still a bit low as he is likely to be in the thick of things.

Note that he often has Mage Armor going, so there's another +4 bonus. Not to mention that his wand of Mirror Image has been doing a decent job of protecting him as well. On the other hand, the Reckless Offense feat gives him a -4 penalty to AC when he uses it, so I've mostly been using it when he has Mirror Image going, or if Guard is blocking the way.

Of course, if the party insists on giving him both a headband and a magic ring, who am I to argue? ;-)

I don't think anyone took the robe of bones or cloak of resistance. I suggest Ardanto takes the cloak, and the robe can probably be sold actually. With all the extra cash given to Daurros, it's not really fair for him to get another item, and I'm not certain I would use it much anyway.

The port may be your last chance to sale anything for a while. Or buy anything.

Finn will definitely take the Headband of Wisdom, unless someone complains vigourously. Does Ardanto/Karkalla/Guard want the Ring of Protection?

I'm not really back online, so I missed all the fun of leveling up...

Guard doesn't have a Cloak of Resistance, but has a Ring of Protection +1 already on him.
Giving the Cloak to Karkalla is fine with me.

I'm probably leveling in Ironsoul Forgemaster anyway.
Now, with 2nd level, I gain the Craft Magic Arms and Armor feat, and am able to craft as if a 6th level caster.
Any wishes? ;) (someone must assist me with Spells, but all else can be taken care of.)

Been absent for the whole Christmas and New Year Period, hopefully things will be back to normal by Wednesday and I will get Ardanto levelled up for then and be able to post regularly. Touch wood.

Copying spells from Daurros. Spellcraft rolls DC 17. I get +2 with transmutation spells and another +2 for being his apprentice. These bonuses make the rolls automatic successes.
