Noting Jackun examine the door to the east, Caitlyn decided to take a close look herself.
[Dice=Perception]1d20+12
Assuming there was nothing untoward she attempted to open it.
Caitlyn found the door unremarkable except for its bright golden color. When she opened it she felt a brief tingle across her flesh.
Was she carrying any buffs left over from the hydra fight?
Beyond she found a wide hall lit by dim red globes. A large stone dwarf stood at its center, legs planted square on the floor and hands pressed against the ceiling, muscles tensed. Another set of golden doors stood closed beyond him.

            No I don't think so.
Caitlyn positively glowered, "It. Tingled... Magic!"
Her eyes narrowed as she saw the red globes and the stone dwarf. This room was pretty creepy, what for example if that wasn't just a statue? Tensly she asked the others, "Does this look safe?"

            "Let us proceed after Thistle..."
Jakun heads down the Hall and inspects the doors and the walls to ensure that nothing is being overlooked.

Thistlwtorp giggles and bounces darts to the smiling door "Let's try this one first. The statue is smiling when we're here, that must mean it wants us here. So that could mean something fun and interesting is on the other side!"

The kender dances forward, grinning brightly as he passes the door. Just as he passes the dwarven statue, slowing to give it a good looking over, the red globes explode in lurid flames, filling the chamber. Thistletorp was distracted by the interesting shape of the dwarf's boots and bent to give it a closer look just as the flames raced across the room, less than an inch above his topknot. Had he not bent down at that moment, he would surely now have a boiled head. The flames then faded to nothing, taking the red glow with them as they ebbed.

Once he was done enjoying that spectacle, Thistle found that the far doors opened onto a hall which proceeded only a few feet before ending in a blank wall.

Jakun headed back in that direction, "Well, time to open this door as well".
Jakun will wait until everyone is in the room and then open the door in case something does happen, he wants the full force present.

Everyone should be topped off from before.
Caitlyn, finding the door quite and apparently safe, opened it and found a room identical to the previous: a dwarf statue in the middle, glowing red orbs along the walls, and doors on the opposite end.
Taking the obvious liberty...
Jakun's divination showed the room fairly swimming in strong transmutation, which extended across its whole width and length. In addition, faint illusion extended in a column from just beside the door up to the ceiling.

Jakun will inform the group of such, "Thistle, time for your magic".
Just grab him by the topknot and throw him in. That'll tell you what happens and the dragon sitting up on the ceiling, invisible, is bored and hungry. You can only listen to Silmarillion: The Musical so many times.

Thistletorp trotted into the room and turned for where Jakun saw the magic, only for his topknot to precede him in hurling to the ceiling. He struck cold stone headlong with a painful crack.

Battered, bruised, Thistletorp felt himself begin to fall upwards again and contorted his small body in ways that ought not be possible and raised some question about just how his spine was meant to be remotely solid. He landed on his feet back outside the door, beaming.

Caitlyn eyed the room Thistletorp had tried with intense suspicion, exactly the kind of dangerous magic she feared.
Glancing at Jackun she replied, "Very well."
Taking point she ranged a short way ahead to see if the coast was clear.

Paladine, Father of Goodness and Valiant Warrior, Come forth, your unworthy servant invokes your name and your power. Dispel the darkness of this place and destroy this trap which confounds us and nature. Level 3 - Fly
Level 4 - Stoneskin
Jakun casts his Flight spell once more and enters the room...
Hopefully having flight will give him greater control over gravity. If not he'll call out to the Revered Daughter real quick for that Dispel! Need to learn that spell when we have some down time!
