I would like to play also, but would be bringing another character. (Basically, I'm working towards one character per faction, but using them for relevant games to enhance the role-play opportunities.)
So for 1-03, it would be a brand new character with one GM credit on him. A halfling ghost operative who is a good pilot (+10) and (to not step on a certain ysoki's tail) also a good gunner (+5 to attack). :)

Ok spent my credits down. Who doesn't like better armor?
I also made some tweaks to Ehdd so he isn't so combat horrible. I took the 'bardic song' type ability that gets people a boost to hit a target and took weapon focus small arms.
Not being able to do anything in combat besides hope for a nat 20 will only work so long...
And if I'm going to play Captain all the time I better take intimidate so I picked that back up.
*Edit: I also want to spend 2 fame to get the Wayfinder Faction boon... this certainly seems like their kind of mission. Do we have to guess on what 'extras' may come up for faction specific missions or? The Faction changes still stymie me a bit.

The good thing is the scenarios all tell you which faction(s) they involve and I'll always let you guys know ahead of time. By extras you mean boons?

Might be reading too much into it. I see more as a flavor thing - you're a Starfinder agent and you can work towards the goals of any number of factions for however long you'd like. Some missions will have boons for the particular faction you slot, but that isn't always the case.

Alright. So if a particular mission has benefits from a particular faction then that's something we'll find out about at the start of a mission? I was reading there are different faction boons you can purchase with the right amount of fame in that faction, but I haven't read up on those super closely.
Either way, I need to use some of this fame so consider the faction champion bought anyhow.
Ehdd is ready-ish to fly himself a ship! Er... to tell someone else to do the actual flying!

Yup exactly, you'll always know ahead of time 1) what factions the scenario is centered around, if any, and 2) if it includes starships.

Before I have the enemy ship move, the Science Officer (0689) and Captain (Ehdd) can also act in the Helm Phase if they wish to. Can someone bot 0689? I think he may be away.

Sorry for my lack of posting here lately. It has been one problem after another here. Starting off with my old trusty laptop dying on me. Then they redid the computer access at work, and paizo was blocked from the IP for being a not trusted site. Then when I got my laptop up and running, I got saddled with a trainee that will most likely being terminated after the new year, and it my job to do the final assessments.
So please bear with me while I play catch up.
