When do you want us to tell you what boons we have slotted, I assume we still have time.
Good Point!
You basically have until you head to your first faction leader to decide which boons you are slotting.
Starship boons are not necessary as there is no starship combat in this scenario. And since this scenario is intended to be the first you complete, you can easily do it without slotting any boons aside from faction membership. But if you have boons you feel like slotting, slot away!
You also may use this time to buy equipment before setting out, though since the scenario keeps you on Absalom Station the entire time, you will have opportunities to stop at stores later on as well.

Okay, instead of rolling a day job which I haven't done yet Huckle will be slotting
Instructor: Social Boon (Benefit: This boon represents time spent outside of adventuring
that you’re taking to train a potential new Starfinder. At the end
of every adventure you have this boon slotted, record the total
amount of Fame you earned. You can expend your Downtime at
the end of an adventure to increase the amount of Fame recorded
for this boon by 1. Once you have accrued 40 Fame with this boon,
your student has come into his or her own and is ready to become
a full-fledged Starfinder (a new character). Have your GM mark
the Chronicle sheet where you accomplished this, and keep a copy
with your new character.
When your new character reaches 5th level, instead of choosing
four ability scores to increase, you can choose five. Otherwise you
follow all other rules for leveling up. This bonus only applies at
5th level.
Faction boon: Basic to gain reputation

My boons for this adventure:
Faction: Acquisitives Champion
Promotional: Promotional Record Keeper
If you need proof that I have a character folio, for the Promotional Record Keeper boon, I can send you a picture of me holding it or something.

Guys: Do you want me to roll saves for you when your character needs to make one? Or would you rather have me wait until you make the roll?

Navasi - Pregen |

Guys: Do you want me to roll saves for you when your character needs to make one? Or would you rather have me wait until you make the roll?
I am fine with whichever is easier/faster for you.
Navasi calls out to the rest of the group to focus on the creature.
Navasi - Pregen wrote:Move action = Get 'Em - All allies gain +1 morale bonus to attacks until the beginning of Navasi's next round.Navasi: since this ability ends at the start of your next action, you should probably delay until everyone else gets a chance to act..
@ GM –Re Get ‘Em - Although we’re using block Initiative, I realized that technically most of the party acted before Navasi in the following round, so I figured I’d use the ability. I agree with you that it generally good advise to delay (or have rest of the party delay) so that the ability can be used by the whole party at once.

I have no reroll abilities, so I have no decisions to make when rolling a save. Go ahead and roll my saves for me.

SFS GM Peet |

Good play with getting past the line!
The scenario just has you stand in line for hours and get knocked around a bit, requiring some fortitude saves to avoid some nonlethal damage.
But, the Starfinder Society guide does say this:
Rewarding the creative use of skills and roleplaying not only make Society games more fun for the players, but it also gives the GM a level of flexibility in ensuring players receive the rewards they are due.
So I think I have the latitude to say that your solution gets you past that!
BTW, the money that Zigvigix gave you gives you spending power but is considered to be part of the final reward for the scenario, so anything that you buy with it has to either be returned to the society at the end of the scenario or paid for out of somebody's final payout (presumably the character who keeps the item bought). So keep that in mind. Also the money came after you bought the albums, so you can't use that to get an extra album for yourself if that was what you wanted.

RxPregen |

While I enjoyed the plan that we had in place- I also find the story as built (fortitude saves for standing in line for hours with a bunch of teenager fan boi's) equally as amusing.

Iseph - Iconic Operative |

Hi team, I will only be able to post again on Tuesday.
Can you please choose one of you to bot me until then.
Thanks!

Navasi - Pregen |

@ All - I will be traveling out of town starting Wednesday, 5/23, and won't return home until the following Wednesday, 5/30. I hope to still post one a day, but my post times, post rate, and verbosity of PC will be minimized during that time. I am happy to be botted by the GM or let another player bot me during that time.

SFS GM Peet |

Botted Khorvax' full round and Huckle Jim's move action to keep things moving.
Also guys: In my GM stat line is a link to the posts on how the upgrade rules work. By now you know that the DC for any of the improve actions is 16.

"Time to try to stop our 'friend'... a bit."'
[dice=Stealth: Sabotage RATROD 1-3]1d20+7 oops!
I apologize if this is an inappropriate question, but... why? You're our best parts-scavenger, by far (90% chance of success!). I'm just genuinely curious, why would you risk getting kicked out?

RxPregen |

Senko, Huckle Jim, and Khorvax are our best gunners. 1d20+3-1
Navasi and Altronus (Man. Altronus is a very poorly built character, all things considered) are equal. 1d20+2-1
I would vote we put our 3 best gunners on the Kinetic weapons, and then its a coinflip for Navasi or Altronus on the energy gun.
I am happy to let Navasi take the controls, or alternate rounds, or whatever.

Navasi - Pregen |

I have a slotless boon that allows me to take one reroll when using a pregen. So, I guess Navasi will take a gun, at least until the reroll is spent.

SFS GM Peet |

Man. Altronus is a very poorly built character, all things considered.
Yes, he is.
Mind you, it is hard to make a decent Solarian. The class has a number of failings, not the least of which being that it has CHA as a key ability score despite being combat-focused.
Had I designed Altronus I would not have bothered with putting points into DEX and CON. If I was sticking with the Scholar theme I would have done 16 STR, 10 DEX, 10 CON, 10 INT, 13 WIS, 14 CHA. His first feat would have been heavy armor proficiency, which weapon solarians kind of need. I would also have given him a returning starknife and a tactical Doshko. With four arms he can wield both of those and the solar weapon at the same time.

RxPregen |

It's going to be a slow posting weekend for me. I'll check in here and there, but I doubt I make more than one post between now and sunday. Good thing altronus doesn't have anything to contribute right now...

SFS GM Peet |

FYI I'm going out to the country for the weekend (for my brother's wedding) and probably won't have net access. I should be back on track Monday.

Iseph - Iconic Operative |

Have fun! This is a great event and I wish you and your brother all the best!

![]() |

I'm going to be in Las Vegas with my boyfriend Monday through Friday. I'll be posting less during those days.

RxPregen |

I am going to be off the grid for the next week. Limited internet and posting, but I should still get about one post a day. If needed, please few free to bot me to keep things moving!

Congratulations guys! The adventure is complete.
Thanks for playing. This was my first scenario GMing for SFS organized play. Hope you had a good time. If you have any feedback about how I could have done anything better, please let me know.
Also: if everyone can give me a quick reminder: Who bought themselves a copy of the Star Sugar Heartlove album? I need to include that on the chronicle sheets. The price will be deducted from your adventure reward for the scenario, so you don't need to deduct the money from cash you had at the start.
RxGus: unfortunately, since you were playing Altronus, you have to use his profession check for a day job check, and he doesn't seem to have a profession skill. BTW, you should also get a professional toolkit for Astrator to give yourself a +4 to day job checks. It pays for itself in 3 adventures.

RxPregen |

Altronus stated in text that he downloaded a digital copy because he was too embarrassed to buy the real one. You can do with that what you please

Navasi, Khorvax, and I purchased albums. I'm not sure if anyone else did.
Thanks again for running!

@ GM Peet - Thanks for running! Some fun RP and I really appreciated your openness to creative/different solutions, which made this run interesting even as a multiple replay!

I think you can "hold" a chronicle you played as a pre-gen for a character that is not yet ready for some reason. Which means you don't have to decide right away I think.
I will double check that if you want.

Sure, or point me to a link. I started this game with a pregen and then have since started playing another with the PC that I'd prefer to apply this chronicle to.

SFS GM Peet |

OK guys, game has been reported and Chronicle Sheets are done:
Astrator (formerly Altronus)
Fazaah (formerly Iseph)
Huckle Jim
Senko
Sev- (formerly Navasi)
Sorry to take so long... it took me a while to figure out how to edit the damn things without shelling out $$ for Adobe Acrobat Edit. Ended up using PDFescape.
If there are any problems let me know. I don't mind making corrections to the sheets.
Khorvax: if you're out there, I need your SFS number for the chronicle sheet.
RxGus: sadly, the whole point of the album was the physical "collector's edition." So downloading the album won't count, but also doesn't cost you any money.

Navasi: Sadly, my research has revealed that you can't apply chronicles to two characters at once and so you have to go with the 703 character. Sorry. :(
Thanks again for playing, guys!

Thanks for GMing!
I'm sorry I fell out at some point in the game. I realized for myself that I need a different pace of play - 2-3 posts a day and finish it in maximum three weeks (or better in two), otherwise I start to lose concentration and interest. Useful experience and knowledge. Thank you again. And you GMed very cool, btw :)

SFS GM Peet |

Glad you made it back!
I'll do up a chronicle for you when I get home.

SFS GM Peet |

I sent Khorvax a PM with his chronicle so I declare this game complete.
Thanks again for playing.
