Red Goblin rushes forward leaping onto the ceramic table, but tripping and sprawling out prone there instead of upright.

Yellow goblin leaps around Tiberiu's swinging scarf and strikes at the Varisian with his dagger but missing this time.

Striped Goblin attempts to grapple Slaynn (provoking an AoO from the big elf). If he survives the AoO, he get hold of the big elf, not knowing exactly what he's gotten hold of...

Slaynn has an AoO to try vs Striped Goblin or be grappled. Adjinakou is up for the heroes before a host of more goblins get to act.


Sorry, that last post took me about 6 hours to complete with the internet issues I'm having around the move. I'll get your in-between posts resolved now. Still need the AoO from Slaynn when he can.

Glassworks and Goblins - Round 2 - continued

Adjinakou prepares to send another goblin to sleep, blowing sand and hexing Green this time. The goblin yawns, but seems to overcome the slumber magic this time around.

Continuing to throw glass bottles, Purple Goblin aims at the witch this time but the impromptu missile shatters harmlessly against the far wall.

Blue Goblin opens the oven door near the combat zone, filling the area with an uncomfortable heat. The glass furnace is hot enough to keep glass at liquid temperature, is magically fed. It appears the goblins, if still alive, mean to drag the grappled Slaynn into the furnace...

Rushing forward, Khaki goblin squeezes in between his brothers and the table, and takes a swing at Tiberiu. The slicer sinks intot he Varisian's thigh causing a well of blood to form, and start running down the magus' leg.

Gripping his longspear in his gauntleted hand, he reaches out to touch the goblin (camo-gobo) with his other hand.

Qorinae drops his bow in disgust and draws his longsword.

Guess I will roll Slaynn's AoO so as to not slow us down anymore than I already have...

As the goblin steps up to grapple him, the elf barbarian lets loose with his quarterstaff but misses the grasping goblin who wraps him up in a bear-hugging grapple.

Slaynn AoO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Glassworks and Goblins - Round 2 - continued

Zephir calls into his palm the power of lightening, but for all that power, the goblins are shifty enough to avoid getting touched by him.

From behind, Qorinae drops his bow, and advances to attack, but when he can't get his sword unstuck, his attack fails harmlessly.

You guys are fighting like a bunch of level 1's. Need to step it up against my Delta Force goblins! Still have normal action from the now-grappled Slaynn. Will give him until tomorrow or I will DM-PC his Round 2 action. More to come!

Hmm. it appears I was wrong. Its doesn't say anything about holding the charge of an oracle's touch revelation. Got that from touch spells... bummer.

Bummer indeed! You missed his touch AC by 1, and the damage would've fried one. Now its gone. Guess it's time for Plan B.

Slaynn by now was pissed! No Self respecting Orc would let himself be grappled and dragged to his doom so easily! With a roar and curses in orcish, Slaynn eyes changes to deep blue as his rage narrows his focus....

Glaring at the goblin, as his tendons begin to tighten, his well honed muscles tense and a deep breath, Slaynn begins to break free of the goblin.....


Goblins and Glassworks - Round 2 - concluded

A bit offended by the touch of the goblin, Slaynn rages tensing his muscles and bursting free of the goblin's grasp. He stands there glaring at the offending creature, his anger continuing to build, daring the goblin to come at him again.

Swirling his colorful scarf about, Tiberiu successfully slices it across the neck of Yellow Goblin, killing him, and starting to even the odds a bit.

Whipping out his goblin-knife, Green tries to fill the gap created by his fallen comrade, stabbing at the scarf-wielding long-shanks fiercely, but missing the dancing fighter badly.

Green slicer: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Lying prone on the metal table, Red Goblin rolls painfully off onto the floor, the momentum of his charge attack broken.

Striped Goblin launches a fresh series of attacks on Slaynn, trying to get the big elf to fall. The goblin gets a lucky shot in against the raging elf, scratching him for 3 hp dmg.

I have Slaynn at 10/15hp. Adjinakou is up for the good guys, then more crazy goblin behaviour.

"A scratch." Slaynn fairly growls the answer. Waving his hand to show he's fine before turning his eyes back at the goblin.

"It'll be more than a scratch for you." he promises.


Glassworks and Goblins - Round 3 -continued

Adjinakou spreads his slumber message to Purple Goblin, who slumps to the floor snoozing.

Seeing that his friend lost grip on the big elf, Blue Goblin stabs at him instead. Khaki goblin also attempts to stab the barbarian but misses.

Then Slaynn roars at the whole crowd, but fails to strike any fear into the mass of goblins.

Zephir steps back checking on Slaynn, who demures any healing at present.

Qorinae stabs the Khaki goblin in the belly, giving him a wound, but not quite taking him down.

Tiberiu swings his scarf again, as he comments on its effectiveness to Zephir. This time however, the effectiveness proves elusive as the scarf snaps harmlessly above the head of a goblin.

Green turns on Tiberius with a fierce energy "Kill, maim, eat!" cry the gobins in unison and Green stabs at the magus also missing.

The Mwangian witch doctor continues spreading his sleep magic around to goblin targets. Blue Goblin falls the floor asleep for just a moment.

Waking from his hex Purple Goblin climbs atop the table to get better access to the fighting. He takes his time and spends a full round action to accomplish the climb.

Khaki Goblin leaps at Tiberiu making a slashing attack with his goblin-knife, but the sortie misses as the dancing magus nimbly avoids the goblinblade.

Blue DC 15 Will: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (5) - 1 = 4
Khaki slicer: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

All 4 of the heroes are up. Slaynn has a sleeping (helpless) goblin right in front of him. The others may have to work a little harder.

Slaynn brings the end of his staff down hard on the sleeping goblin, squashing it's head like a melon.

Nearby, Zephir swings his mailed fist at one of the goblins, but his string of misses continues.

Still need actions from Qorinae and Tiberiu. I will DM PC them tonight if we don't see any post by then.

Tiberiu dodges a veritable hail of blades as he whips the scarf back around. He's looking slightly worried now, but the crunch of the goblin Slaynn is nearby is reassuring. "That's the spirit, Slaynn!" he calls. "Scary guy, isn't he?" he mutters to Zephir as he spins his scarf at the goblin nearest.

"Hey, goblin! Lookie!" he calls, and, with a flourish, produces a brightly colored flag out of nowhere.

Attacking green goblin and using prestidigitation to distract him, if that's possible...which it probably won't be. But hey. Worth a shot. Spell combat penalty applies to the attack roll.

Attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2


Goblins and Glassworks - round 4 - concluded

Qorinae continues pressing the attack against Camo goblin perforating the creature again, and causing it to fall over and out of the fight.

Nearby, Tiberiu tries to distract the green goblin with basic magic tricks, but his own attack fails to connect. When Green swings back at him, the distraction proves enough to keep the dancing magus safe for now.

Dmg: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Continuing to rain glassware down on the heroes, Red Goblin targets Qorinae this time. While bottles and beakers fly everywhere, none hit a target for damage.

Striped goblin swings his dogslicer on Slaynn and the raging barbarian seems to turn right into the blade in his anger, the knife cutting him for 4hp dmg.

I saw Slaynn raging above, not sure if he still is, but if so, then it's a hit, otherwise it's a miss. I also have him at 4/13 hp after that shot. Adjinakou up now for the good guys.

Hearing the grunt and slap of a blade slicing flesh, Zephir again steps back. Gripping his longspear two handed once more he tries to skewer the green goblin.

It's a hit. Slaynn is wounded. He's still in rage.

"Rarghhhh" Slaynn roar sounds incredibly like an orc but its guttural cry sounds alien from his elven throat.

Turning to his latest foe, Slaynn seeing his blood now flowing freely is spurred on to greater heights as he lifts the quarterstaff in one hand before stepping forward and bashing it on the goblin hard with all his force.

Seeing Slaynn bleeding (and clearly not in his right mind), Tiberiu mutters a curse. Really, really did not want to interpose my body between anyone and screaming goblins today...oh well. Not wanting Slaynn to get rushed, he slips between the two goblins nearest and swings his scarf.

If the red's asleep, he'll Coup de grace that one (taking AoO); otherwise, normal attack on the green that keeps attacking him.

CdG damage: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6

Attack Green: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Glassworks and Goblins - Round 5 - continued

Still passing out free naps, the Mwangi witch turns his sandman routine on Red Goblin, but the goblin has seen his mates succumb and resists the sleep for a time.

Seeing the elven barbarian taking wounds, Purple Goblin at Slaynn from atop the table. The knife cuts the side of the barbarian's head, opening yet another wound on the raging warrior.

Slaynn's counterstroke is too slow to hit the shifty goblins who spring to the side to avoid a head-bashing.

Zephir continues to more too slowly to hit the darting goblins with either mailed fist or bladed spear. He does, however, step closer to the bleeding barbarian.

Tiberiu steps up and finishes off the sleeping goblin with his bladed scarf. The magus's step up exposes his flank to green goblin who stabs him between the ribs for 4 hp.

Tiberiu is at 3/10 hp, and Slaynn is at 1/13 normally (3/15 raging). Slaynn has also used his last rage round for the day (unless I miscounted) and must now take the fatigued condition for 8 rounds also. Saving an action for Qorinae to post. If not posted by tomorrow evening, I will DM-PC him again.

That last Hit hurt! Like it or not that hit also broke Slaynn's focus leaving him winded. Bringing up his staff once more, willing to sell his life if needed, Slaynn thrusts forward with the end of his quarterstaff at Purple Goblin.

Goblins and Glassworks - Round 6 - continued

Finally moving into the room, Adjinakou is struck by the tremendous heat coming from the glass furnace. Trying to concentrate amid the chaos of combat, he calls forth a healing spell, and salves some of the fatigued barbarians significant wounds.

Purple Goblin, which has a flank on the Varisian dancer, swings once at Tiberiu. The knife draws flesh and Tiberiu falls, spent from his many wounds. The goblin attacker then withdraws back towards the wall away from the longshanks.

Newly healed but still fatigued, Slaynn steps around the corner of the table to base at Purple Goblin, but his blow misses the wily anklebiter.

Tiberiu is now at -1 and bleeding. Hope another cure spell is in the future. They sure are hitting you a lot more than you are hitting them...

Since Zephir's ahead of me in initiative, I'm assuming I'm healed before needing the check. Should put me at 7 hp (and I'm updating that on my tag line).

Tiberiu collapses to the floor in a faint when the goblin hamstrings him, but as Zephir's healing energy buzzes through him he stirs again. Opening his eyes, and seeing the goblin who downed him standing above him, he mutters a curse and, enraged, sends a jolt of pure arcane energy into his scarf, swinging it up at the goblin's face from the ground! Sadly, it's not a very effective flail, and probably wouldn't be even were he standing...the scarf, however, continues to glow with silvery light.

Attack Purple: 1d20 + 3 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 3 - 4 + 1 = 8
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Goblins and Glassworks - Round 6 - concluded

Seeing Tiberiu fall, Zephir rushes to his side taking an attack from Green Goblin in the process. the blade scratches the oracle in the back, but with healing on his mind, he hardly feels it. Calling forth the power of his mystery, Zephir brings some healing to the wounds of Tiberiu. The magus, finding himself on the ground, lashes out with his scarf after giving it a boost of magical energy, but the clumsy attempt while laying down is easily avoided by any goblins.

Qorinae swings is sword through thin air once again this round.

Stabbing at the prone Varisian, who is also flanked after a 5' step, Green drives his blade right into the recently healed Tiberiu.

Slaynn spins his quarterstaff and attempts to brain whoever is near him that is a goblin. Still winded from his exertions and the wounds begin to take their toll on him.

Glassworks and Goblins - Round 7 - concluded

Adjinakou, having given all the goblins their naps, switches hexes, giving Purple Goblin the Evil Eye reducing his fighting ability.

The hexed goblin then steps to side before stabbing down on the prone Tiberiu. The hex does its work as the blade misses doing any damage.

Striped Goblin then goes next, also moving and swinging at the prone magus. The blade finds the dancing Tiberiu, and this wound takes the fight out of him, as he falls unconscious once again.

As the goblin celebrates his winning hit on Tiberiu, he is skewered on the longspear of Zephir the oracle. The chest puncture is a mortal wound to the Striped Goblin.

Qorinae's struggle in this combat continues as his blade misses badly against any target.

Green Goblin steps down and swipes at the Mwangi witch with his blade. The witch dodges the blow, but is now threatened in combat for the first time.

I'll roll Tiberiu's stabilization check rather than waiting on him. He is at -1 hp, but stable.
