Yeah, I liked more than 4 entries, and perhaps that would help to make the adventure not as deadly.

now that I remember, Jal, Your stat distribution seem impossible with a 20 point buy.

Yes, you are right, I don't know why I put 20 instead of 19... I used the correct +4 modifier when applicable, anyway... so no harm done.

Thanks DM for the acceptance. One question, what would you like Felixus's position in the church to be referred as? His backstory has him join the church, but I'd be hesitant to call him a cleric as that's a specific game term, my thinking would be to refer to him as a 'brother' avoiding the game terms, whilst still having a religious sound, but I don't know if that fits with the story or not (and a google search about the church of Darlen was unhelpful).

well, I suppose brother is fine. Btw, is customary to use bolded text to character speech.

Thanks for the selection. I think having 2 paladins in the party will be interesting, but should work out well since my role will be more defensive buffing. Looking forward to playing with all of you.

Tamarie/ScubaSteve: We're both playing half-elf paladins, both fighting sword-and-board, so we should really work out some differences between us just to help define our characters as individuals. Feel free to PM me if you want to work that out.

For instance, since Tamarie follows Darlen, perhaps I'll go with Iomedae, just for a little contrast.

A bit about my gal: Achlys isn't nasty in character/personality, but she can be abrupt and even bossy (and less than patient with recklessness/silliness in others) ... but it comes from a good place (and experience). She isn't deliberately mean or rude. :)

Tomorrow (my Saturday) I'll be out of town for the day attending a family celebration. I will be back posting on the boards the following day (my Sunday).

We are experiencing major issues with flooding due to the ceaseless rain storms of late in Oz.

I have a suggestion for anyone granting group buffs. The hardest part of buffing in a PBP is making sure the affected players know you're granting them a bonus. It's not realistic to expect that every player will read everything you write.

When one of my buffing characters posts a buff, he uses a combination of the BOLD tag and the BIGGER tag to get noticed and always summarizes the buff at the end of his post.

Example:

BODYGUARDING: With Aid Allies, Bodyguard and Intercept, I can burn an Attack of Opportunity whenever an adjacent ally is attacked to give that ally a +4 to AC.

Generally speaking, I wait for everyone to post something before moving forward, even small post would let me know you already read what happened and are ready to continue (and have nothing to else to say or to do)

I added more information about the guest lodgings in the campaign info page. I will put there the information of every room you visit.

Remember, this part of the campaign you are almost free to do whatever you want, an active participation and curiosity will be of utmost importance to have fun (otherwise you character will just hang around until the storm passes).

The Big Float has been suffering lately with various difficulties in importing all the necessities of life for 70,000 citizens. Play by post occurs on our self-made java programmed message boards with their own dice mechanisms, and auto-archiving features.
