Garrasay growls in frustration as the tiny arrows pelt him "Rrawwwww! Where are they?"
He tries to peer through the falling snow where others have turned their attention.

Gavinia peers the little fairy, then frowns at the deep snow between them. She sighs, and lays a hand on Garrasay and casts a spell, then draws a throwing axe.
Guidance on Garrasay: +1 competence to a single save, attack or skill roll within the next minute, must choose to use it before making the roll.

Garrasay
The snow is falling heavily and the fey are well adapted to the conditions. It was going to be exceptionally difficult to bring these things down. He already had divine insight from Gavinia's deity, but he felt that to make his one shot with the throwing axe count, he needed all the aid he could muster.
He growled out the arcane words and let the magic heighten his instincts and reflexes, complimenting Gavinia's guidance.

"spread out where they cant target more than one person with their spells. Strike when they try to cast or use thier bows!" where did that come from.... images of many battles flash through his head.
(morde moves to E19 please, he moved and used a move for perception)
I was goign to start doing this but the fey left, hold your action to attack at the same time as the creature and move with it. that way you get your regular attack and the AoO.
Garrasay
With divine guidance and arcane insight, Garrasay pulls back with the throwing axe and heaves mightily. In his sight he sees the fey clearly against the background of snow. Everything seems to slow down as the axe leaves his hand and hurtles towards the fey creature.

ah sorry, confused by too many axes
Garrasay
Garrasay had been hoping that one solid hit would be all that was required to defeat the tiny fey. He had put everything he had into that one shot. Now that the fey had survived the attack, he was concerned.
Drawing his last axe, he tossed it at the creature as best he could.

Out of combat!
Gavinia Hornsten
Gavinia moves slowly back, watching for any sign of the remaining fairy.
After half a minute, she says "I think the one I was fighting has fled. It was badly injured and must have seen its companions fall. Are the others still alive? We should bind them and see if we can question them. They will probably know who took the lady and where - we should also ask if they know about this weather."
She helps Steinolf up and leads him back to the others.
"We should also make camp. There is still some light, but with the snow and the cold I would rather not wait until it is dark. I am also injured and would rather not risk any more fighting today." She looks forward and back along the trail. "Should we head back a few minutes? Best not to stay here if the fairy returns with more help."
_Mordred_
"I don't envy any wandering adventures to run into this group if we were to let them live, Gavinia. Normally I would want to ask some questions but these little buggers already shown that they can cast spells, it worries me."
Looking down and around for his Iron throwing axe, Morde says, "is there anything we can do to wake up Sleeping beauty here?" kicking Steins Boot.
after Gavinia asks about camp.
"I think we should move back to the wagons before nightfall we can use them for shelter."
Steinolf Stone
Coming to Steinolf lets out a yell “Ahhhh!! Get back here!!” Looking around, Steinolf realized he is on the ground with Mordred kicking his boot. Looking up he takes Gavinia’s hand to help him up. As he stands and collects his shield and sword Steinolf tries to save face. “Those cowards use magic to hide between attacks. If they would have faced me head on this would have been a different story!”
Hearing the group talk about making camp, “I agree we should take time to find some safe shelter, but do we really want to go all the way back to the wagons? We have traveled some distance since then. Maybe lets try to take a brief look around and see if we can find some safe natural shelter out here?”

Survival to find a camp sight: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
Shrugging, while Steinolf tries to find shelter Morde also begins looking around for somewhere safe to sleep knowing two people looking is better than one.
Garrasay
Garrasay breaths heavily as the forest goes quiet, his breath making clouds of steam on the icy air. "Ghhhhr. Yes, I think camp would be important."
He surveys his companions to assess their condition "Whether or not these fey were involved on the attack on the wagon, they are a menace to the forest none the less." he gestures to the dead birds bundled up and hanging from the trees all around. "They may also be the reason for the Sentinels suddenly going missing. I am fine if we want to question one but we should be wary about letting them go. Ygerrrrrr"
Garrasay helps look for a good campsite survival assist: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Garrasay is not the greatest woodsman at the best of times, but out here he is completely clueless how to deal with the snow and intense cold. In the winters he usually just finds an accommodating place to hole up and waits out the season.
_Mordred_
survival make lean to: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Morde will try his best to create a lean to shelter, "I Don't have a tent, I think one on watch is fine. with Me, Stein, and Garrasay. taking watch. with Yuki and gavania just keeping company if able."
basically one of us, then a random chance of 33% for either Gavania or Yuki to just be there. lol
Gavinia Hornsten
aside: I'm coming down with something, so I might have fewer/shorter posts for the next couple of days
Re: tents. Ha, I think we all have bedrolls, but no actual tents. We'll have to huddle around the fire.
Re: Fairies: We have some rope, are we actually able to tie them up or are they too small? Gavinia won't object if most people want to finish them off (which might be the case?) Did they have anything on them besides little shortbows and arrows?
Gavinia helps Mordred as he gathers material for a shelter, making a silent prayer as she hunts for appropriate materials.
Minor blessing of Community on me then Survival to aid Mordred: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
"I can assist on the final watch, or take it on my own. I am usually awake for the break of dawn."
Gavinia Hornsten
I was thinking standard rope might be too inflexible to tie up a diminutive creature, but I guess we could just tie them to a tree or something.
Steinolf, Yukiharu, do you have any opinions on questioning?
Gavinia is being convinced that it's too risky to let them free afterwards, which makes her reluctant to keep them alive for questioning. So I guess we're currently leaning towards killing them.
Gavinia proposes giving the 14gp to Steinolf in compensation for the map & cold gear.
Speaking of which, Gavinia will look over it once camp is set up and see if it's useful. Is the path we took marked on the map at all, and are there any features on it that we think are nearby?
Garrasay
Garrasay does not have a tent, only a bedroll. He hadn't planned on spending an evening in the middle of a wintry landscape. "Rrrr. I agree, we can compensate Steinolf for the gear he purchased for us. I can take a middle watch, the darkness does not bother me. If this evening's weather proves too difficult for us, we should take what we can and head back to town to better prepare. While time is of the essence, the Lady is no better off with us frozen in the drifts waiting for a spring thaw. Grrr"
He bundles up as best he can and hunkers down close to the fire to wait out the evening, taking the middle watch.
3 watches@ 3 hrs each is the plan?
