Well, it looks like things really are over here. I just wanted to thank everyone for the opportunity to game together. I really had a great time, and though this is farewell for now, maybe we'll run into each other again some time on these messageboards. Good gaming!

Hey everyone - if you're still around. I had a couple of things catch up to me at once, and it's kept me away from here for the past few weeks. Not a good reason to stop altogether, though, so I apologize for disappearing like I did.

I like the story, though the recent pacing has made it hard to stay focused. I also feel like we've pushed through several difficult combats without a chance to recover; I hope there's a break coming soon! (Arkady has no spells and is short on hit points ...)

Just FYI, this coming weekend is PaizoCon, so I may be around a little less and probably won't post at all from Thursday until Tuesday, between prep, con, and recovery.

Woo ho! Tomorrow's our 2 year anniversary of the first gameplay post!
Though on a sad note, I hope we haven't lost Cervin. He hasn't posted in 9 days and traditionally, he's been the most active poster since he joined our campaign :(
I know he's around, not sure why he hasn't posted here.
However, I do have to say that 2 years and we're still 2nd level in book one ... I don't know if I can keep going at this slow of a pace. I'd really like to actually see the story, but it won't happen at this rate.
I find fights are where we spend most of our real world calendar time, so I've been starting to omit some of the non-essential fights, and I'm considering turning to a milestone-based progression (rather than tracking XP closely). I'd welcome any feedback on any further changes.
I'm open to any changes you want to make GM. I know we haven't really tracked XP for quite some time (we might actually be past 3rd level at this point!), so a milestone or chapter based progression might make more sense.
I really enjoy all aspects of Pathfinder, i.e. roleplaying, combat, skill challenges, etc., so I've always liked the way you've run the campaign. As to Arkady's point, I feel we lost a little something when we lost that 4th person in the party. Whenever we've had nonmartial female members in our group, I felt it opened up great roleplaying opportunities for my character.
Regarding the speed of the game, I can only speak for myself and promise I'll commit to more frequent posting from this point forward. :)
I will be on vacation from June 27 until July 5. I may post infrequently during this time if I have an opportunity, but I cannot promise I will at this time.
Guys, I'm sorry to say this, but I just can't take this pace any more. It's been over two years and we're still second level. We go for days without any updates and sometimes weeks between anything of note happening. I really want to see how this story goes, but it's been so long since we started, I don't even remember what we're doing.
I'm going to call it done at this point and hope to get a chance to play this AP through in a better circumstance. I've enjoyed playing with you guys and wish you all well.

I got a little worried when I saw the gameplay thread marked as "inactive" and then I read this. Sorry to see the house of cards fall down like this. I was hoping to at least make it to the end of volume one and get some closure story-wise.
For whatever it's worth GM, I'm still enjoying the story and would like to continue. I realize that may be a difficult, if not impossible, proposition if we're down to one player....
Yagello, thanks for the feedback, but it's going to be a lot of work to ramp up a whole new set of characters just for the end of the volume. Happy to keep in touch if you have any suggestions (you can private message me).
