Kwiazy's eyes grow wide with wonder as he sees Jynnjun's spiffy sickle. "That be SO pretty!" He walks closer to get a better view of it... reaches out and touches the handle with one finger.. "It looks like it should be cold, but iz not... So fancy! Where it come from? Me hopes you tore it from the cold, dead fingers of something nasty!" He grinz at Jynnjun.

"Me not find a lot... me busy helping refyoogeez, so not much things to find, but me get two good things to keep. Fancy new gloves! See?" he holds up his gloved hands. "Me help friends kill bad things with them. Oh, and pretty new shirt... Made all with snakey stuff." He shrugs as he realizes it's not very much, but he's happy with the two items.

Dripple squints his eyes together in concentration and pointa at another tree; water coalesces from thin air around it and coats it in slippery ice. Not that it does anything impressive, it's just all frosty, but it seems to make the goblin happy.

Err... I don't remember most of it honestly. The rangers asked us to go help some miners in Radya's Hollow and maybe get their help, and then go check out someplace called Longshadow. ... Um, yeah. That's all I know. But they are good guys, so I am sure it is a good idea.

"Hobgoblins running around making a mess of things and being total jerks along with murdering villages and enslaving a whole bunch of folks is definitely not a good thing. We managed to rescue some Rangers and take out a dragon that the enemy was using to bolster their forces. I want to see if they have any other dragons that need to be taken out. As far as history beyond that, you'd have to ask folks that have done more."

You didn't miss too much with the dragon. We took him out faster then I thought-not before I got covered with its spit. Xakroo huffed, still scratching his skin a bit as he could feel the spit on him even now.

Also, are you guys more in the mood for combat or story right now? The next part is supposed to be a bunch of random-feeling combats as you travel; we can do all of them, I can pick the most interesting one, or we can just skip them.

Results from your knowledge checks: The region covers the dry foothills between the Fangwood and the Mindspin Mountains, and is home to many strange creatures, including griffons and bulettes. Natural caverns and lava tubes pock the area, as well as large deposits of copper, gold, iron, salt, and various minerals, and despite the predators and infertile soil, many small mining communities—such as Radya’s Hollow—have sprung up. Longshadow, the local trade center, is one of the largest towns in Nirmathas south of Skelt, and like Skelt it survives through refining and smithing the various metals mined throughout the region before shipping finished goods to Tamran or the war front.

Please make a list of the gear such as tents and rations you bring with. Do not worry about the cost of it, as long as it is mundane gear, within reason.

Well guys, let's keep our eyes on the sky and the ground, Xakroo huffed, I do not want anyone taken by a griffon or bulette on my watch. And we might need to be very quiet-as in, not announcing where we are. He gave a raised nonexistent eyebrow to Trinket, hoping she'd catch on. Not only to prevent any predators attacking, but also so any hobgoblin patrol doesn't find us. We'll also need to find a way so our tracks won't lead them here...

Trinket packs up a tent, bedroll, blanket, fluffy pillow, green flannel pyjamas (with the word 'HERO' written on the back in purple sequins), two waterskins, a small barrel of fresh water, a grooming kit, a mess kit, and a weeks worth of trail rations in her handy haversack. (Note: Some of that gear she already owned. The only thing she's adding is the tent, rations, the barrel of water, and the second waterskin.)

As Xakroo is helping the others pack, he packs his own supplies-tent, bedroll, blankets (one for him, one for Zarvak), a little basket with dead rats (again, for Zarvak), a waterskin, and plenty of rations for the trip.

Not being that good at packing for adventures, Dripple tries to keep track of the others and make sure he gets the same stuff. A tent, bedroll, rations, etc.

When he sees Trinket grab a couple waterskins, Dripple does too. When he sees her grab a barrel of water he shrugs. He tilts his head and opens his mouth comically wide as he summons a small deluge of fresh water from thin air above him that falls neatly into his awaiting maw. "AH! Icy cold!"

He gets excited when he spots Xakroo's bag of rats. "Oh those look tasty! Can I get a bag of rats too?" He inquires in general, not yet knowing where everyone gets the best stuff like that from around here.

Kwiazy rummages around and picks out some items to take along on the trip. He acquires a second canteen, a bedroll and blanket, a mug, 2 fishhooks and 50' of string, a sewing needle and 50' of thread, a signal whistle, a week of rations, a whetstone, a small tent, 3 more alchemist's fires, and an area map because pictures are okay.

He watches Dripple make water out of thin air and grinz. "That be cute trick. Kwiazy can make water too!" He turns his back on the others and pees on a tree, then turns back grinning.
