By RAW that is correct, I think my way was a throwback from 3.5. I will allow you to do it that way, or take 20 on escape Artist, which could be more than CMB+20 if you or someone else has it trained.

I gotta give you some credit, Nimon, you've whipped together some convincingly concise and detailed background and history for Nex/Geb/Wastes that helps really define a region that has about a paragraph of canon text to their names. Did you make up the whole Zon-Kuthon/Mechitar/Geb thing? Because that's a really great idea and I never would have thought to tie Zon-Kuthon to Geb at all.

Thanks, yes I tied it all together. This is about the 4th play by post I have done in this region, and I am running a home game at the local game store based on the Nex/Geb conflict in the Age of Destiny so it has been coming along slowly. I try to tie in the actual history where I can and that seems to help with the legitimacy.

I am here, hopeing to get some more posts from others to work with. Karrick and Kera have been vocal this chapter, but there are plenty of other things going on that others can jump on. I will post a recap tonight when I return from school maybe that will be the spark we need.

No, you most certainly did not screw up. Being intimate with the material allows me to give you more room to do what you want with your characters, sometimes this lack of railroading has its downside that things might get a bit chaotic, but in general you are on track. Your trip to the witch was made ahead of what I anticipated, but it worked out nicely and now you are back on track so to speak.

Red Blessing has the entirety of an AP, you are still on what would be book one "Stars and Shadows" in which there are two chapters left. The next book, as you probably have guessed, will take place in Geb, and beyond.

So, since we are moving forward do we want to have Nimon get more peeps in the party or are we fine with three?

I say that's Nimon's call. He'll have to tweak the encounters no matter what, obviously, but having a party of three also limits out options, too. I'm fine with it, but it's definitely an issue of more what the GM is comfortable with in terms of party size.

I actually have another group that has kind of absent of late. I shall cancel that game and try to consolidate the two.

I like how this party is being effectively run by the two people with evil alignments. I also like how the two evil people in the party aren't mustache-twirling idiots but textured people who just are willing to do anything for what they believe in (or don't believe in.)

I had been checking the game thread, but missed the updates here it looks like. I was giving time for Kera to respond, and with finals time has slipped away from me. I think this game has run its course if there is only two of you left to be honest.
