Well, at least a Swarm of tiny creatures can be hurt by conventional weapons rather than just area attacks.

We do have alchemist's fire, but we didn't properly inventariate and split the loot.

Not to be too meta, but you guys will be leveling fairly soon, certainly within twenty days, so you can start linguistics training, but don't have to actually worry about retraining.

I think we're all worried that if we punch the sleeping dude it'll turn out to be the husband. Perhaps the lady could give us a hint as to whether we should be brutally murdering in there sleep or helping up?

Here too! I'm going through a grueling hiring process so my presence is a bit spotty at the moment, but I love this campaign very much!

Ah, I didn't mention it but I'll keep the rifle in the bag of holding, the revolver concealed in some pocket (Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27) and my rapier at the side.


There doesn't seem to be a lot of interest here. I appreciate those of you who are trying to move things along. I tend to want to run a game where the players are able to drive things along as much as possible. Is there interest here, still? Are you just confused about what is happening or your goals?

I see that PaulJ is still quite active on the boards, and I'm currently in a game with Sapiens.

Is there any interest in reviving this campaign? This is one of my favorite campaign ideas ever. I'm not sure how we would go forward, exactly, but is that something we would want to do?

I'm very much up for it! William was one of the characters that I found more fun to play.

Potentially. What did you have in mind?


I'd need to find a nice clean starting point, probably an NPC encounter to drop some exposition and get things going again. We had done a fair amount of getting to know the setting, but not gotten to far into the overall plot, so we'd need to get that going.

We might want to do a re-recruitment depending on how many of us we get back.

This is one of my favorite campaign concepts, and I'd love to get it going again.


I think I've learned a lot in the past couple of years about keeping a game going.

Well, I'd need a new character (Sir Walter's concept got reused for another game) but I'd be interested.


Naajy is out. He has moved on from Pathfinder 1.0. A shame, I loved that character. You guys have any thoughts about how best to get going?

Real shame about Naajy, I liked to have the Brit/Indian split. My thoughts on getting going are:
1) We need more people, I can't direct all my snark at poor Jon. A re-recruitment might very well be in order.
2) I think that all the PCs should be Earth-based and we should go through some sort of bonding experience to make sure that we gain momentum. Some sort of harrowing test of spirit that forces us to have characters who work together.
3) PbP games can benefit from a bit of railroading. I have seen plenty of campaigns slow down and die because people are unsure of where to go and everything gets bogged down.

But yes, it would seem we will need new people. And a little railroading - a list of possible options rather than unlimited choice, even if we don't take one of those choices and it simply inspires folks where to go - seems like a good idea.
