Razor Coast, a devil’s paradise, where a man’s fortune can bleed out quicker than a spitted pig, and where the dawn sky blazes across endless oceans. Oceans that for centuries hid a lost people of whom legend whisper were born into these wild reaches as the sons of sharks. Here, within in the kraken’s clutches, law means little while gold breaks all boundaries and blood, pearls, and rum pay for all sin.

"Sounds familiar. Just different last resorts. What about the rest of you?"

"Most of my talents are more useful on a ship. Grew up on ship. Most of my skills are martial and some pertaining to being at sea."

"And my talents will come into play once we find him." Pele's fire smolders in Leialoha's eyes.

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

"Finding him is easy. Getting a shot at him without all ending up in the gallows is the difficult part."

Silas thinks back to the vat of acid. "Oh there's a tried and tested method for body disposal."

"Pigs?

A rare smile cracks Leialoha's face at Milliauka's suggestion. "Yes, the pigs are a sure means. I'd been thinking of Pele's fire, but the pigs might be a more fitting end for the black shark's spawn."

"More acid, which I thought might go towards the fire theme."

Leialoha smiles darkly and nods, "Pele is fond of acid too. Now that we're agreed about hunting this Dragoon shall we see if we can find him?"

Silas rubs his eyes. "Well it would appear we're all hunting him. First things first is let's try and shadow him for a bit. And by that I mean people who can actually blend in and not be seen."

How do you want to do this? I figured that some of us would do the shadowing and others would actually progress the plot, but it doesn't look like that's happening.

Female Human Swashbuckler 7; HP 62/62, Init +4, AC: 23 /T: 17 /F: 17 ; Fort:+4/ Ref:+9/ Will:+4; Per: +11; BAB: +7, CMB: +7, CMD: 24; panache - 3/3, charmed life - 4/4

However you want to do it...having to deal with being a spy in another pbp on GitP. So you'll get no arguments from me over here.

Male Human, Tulita Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 8 / Fighter (Unbreakable) 1; HP 83/104(122), DR 4/-, Init +2, AC 20(18)/FF 18/T 13; F +12(14), R +5, W +5(7); Per +13; CMB +14(24), CMD 27(37); Rage 21/21

I think you should shadow him and take Wexley for emergencies since he can go invisible etc. He throw some dancing lights in the air like a flare to warn us if things go bad, we will follow a few blocks behind etc. Just to learn his habits, then you'll know the best place to ambush him, right. Or something else completely?

Human Magus/Wizard 4 | HP: 35/35 | AC: 18/21, T: 17, FF: 11/14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +4, Will: +4 | Melee: +5/6, Ranged: +6 | CMB: +5/6, CMD: 18 | Init: +3, Perception: +0 | AP 5/5 | Speed: 30ft

I mean Silas I am not quite sure what you mean for some to shadow and some to progress the plot, what should the others be doing? Is there another part of the quest that can be done at same time?

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

You probably want to start with doing some gather information checks which in pathfinder are knowledge (local) or diplomacy

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

Silas dresses up to look more like a sailor with a chequered past. His clothes look sun beaten from time on board ship.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Human Magus/Wizard 4 | HP: 35/35 | AC: 18/21, T: 17, FF: 11/14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +4, Will: +4 | Melee: +5/6, Ranged: +6 | CMB: +5/6, CMD: 18 | Init: +3, Perception: +0 | AP 5/5 | Speed: 30ft

Were you looking for disguise or gathering information?
Knowledge(local): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

Gathering information but doing it not looking like me.

Leialoha checks with the other Tulita to see if they have heard any rumors of the shark dragoon on the streets of Port Shaw.
Knowledge (local): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22
Happy to stay back while you scout after him once we find a lead.

Female Human Swashbuckler 7; HP 62/62, Init +4, AC: 23 /T: 17 /F: 17 ; Fort:+4/ Ref:+9/ Will:+4; Per: +11; BAB: +7, CMB: +7, CMD: 24; panache - 3/3, charmed life - 4/4

Natalie starts asking around looking for information on this dragoon.
diplomacy: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Male Human, Tulita Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 8 / Fighter (Unbreakable) 1; HP 83/104(122), DR 4/-, Init +2, AC 20(18)/FF 18/T 13; F +12(14), R +5, W +5(7); Per +13; CMB +14(24), CMD 27(37); Rage 21/21

Oro-Tu, not being as adept at talking people up or getting information from them without the use of force, instead wanders about idly, watching closely for anyone that seems a bit too interested in the fact that his companions are asking these questions.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

You do manage to find out that Sgt. Darenar fell ill for several days after the encounter with Milliauka and they blame the Tulita for it. He did recover and does spend most of his time at Fort Stormshield. He does, however, occasionally still lead patrols throughout the city.

Human Magus/Wizard 4 | HP: 35/35 | AC: 18/21, T: 17, FF: 11/14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +4, Will: +4 | Melee: +5/6, Ranged: +6 | CMB: +5/6, CMD: 18 | Init: +3, Perception: +0 | AP 5/5 | Speed: 30ft

"We can't ambush an entire patrol, but blundering into Fort Stormshield seems like a fool's errand." Wexley says, frustrated.

"The only way to do it would be to separate him from a patrol. I think we have other things we could focus on that are more useful at the moment."

"There are tricks that would serve to separate them, but they are not the magics I specialize in. We could ambush a patrol, but if the shark does not possess them, we could kill innocents or turn people against us. Do we go find this gnoll?"

Male Human, Tulita Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 8 / Fighter (Unbreakable) 1; HP 83/104(122), DR 4/-, Init +2, AC 20(18)/FF 18/T 13; F +12(14), R +5, W +5(7); Per +13; CMB +14(24), CMD 27(37); Rage 21/21

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

"We have no idea if he is changing. The one we fought seemed to have been bitten some time ago."

"Wexley may have the ability to sense the taint of darkness on him. Both he and I may also be able to see the signs of the shark if we see him more closely."
Knowledge (local) to know of any ways to force the change...don't think there are any: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

Probably Knowledge Dungeoneering or arcana more likely.

Arcana from me 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Female Human Swashbuckler 7; HP 62/62, Init +4, AC: 23 /T: 17 /F: 17 ; Fort:+4/ Ref:+9/ Will:+4; Per: +11; BAB: +7, CMB: +7, CMD: 24; panache - 3/3, charmed life - 4/4

We used knowledge arcana in our Kingmaker game thursday.

Oro-Tu shrugs, "Well, should ask around when he might be on patrol, and if he does go, should we ambush then or stalk him first to learn his movements? He sleep in this fort thing or have a hut of his own?"

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

As strange as it may sound it is a Knowledge (local). Normally, a lycanthrope does not go through their first change until the night of the next full moon. Silas, any idea on how many days it has been since we started?

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

3 I think. I haven't checked.

We have been playing for a year now. I am sure you have had to have rested more than three nights.

I don't think so. Midnight deal, returning Miliakua, meeting Drango snd just recently. Gets us to 4. We had s definite run of never really casting anything. So 5 days but I will check.

I think you just need to pick a direction and go with it. I think all the plot hooks are just confusing you guys into inaction.

Either the sewer or the Cove for me.

Do we have Beth back?

Why don't we go back into the sewers for now? Until a better decision can be made?
