"Well I may come back to hear some tales. I'd be very interested to hear."

Silas nods farewell and walks back to the rest as they have all been very quiet.

As Oro-Tu asks the question Silas offers, "I think we need to return it to Miliauka, but we need to make certain it will be safe."

Male Human, Tulita Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 8 / Fighter (Unbreakable) 1; HP 83/104(122), DR 4/-, Init +2, AC 20(18)/FF 18/T 13; F +12(14), R +5, W +5(7); Per +13; CMB +14(24), CMD 27(37); Rage 21/21

Oro-Tu nods, not wanting to have to sewer delve for it twice. "Rest first? Lead way to where you sleep."

Donovan and Jenks board his sloop and he starts sampling his "vintage". Meanwhile the party makes it way back to the Chapter House.

Once the group leaves the captain behind to make our way back to the Chapter House, Leialoha adds, "This captain was once an great sailor. Famed even among the Tulita. The Kraken broke more than his ship. It broke his mind. This is a man we could work with if we could find a way to heal him. Perhaps today was the first step."
Knowledge (local): 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (9) + 14 = 23 Looks like that will make the check.

"Silas, I am pleased to hear that you think we should return the jawbone to Milliauka. I agree with you and I share your concern with its safety. Once we have rested, let us speak with him. If Milliauka is not convinced of its safety with him, perhaps Oro-Tu and I can ward it for the Tulita until he is ready."

Oro-Tu simply nods. If there is one thing he does well, it is to protect. "Rest, speak to Milliauka, then find ring."

"The sea has a way of breaking even the greatest of men. He's lucky not to be in Davey Jones locker."

"If this bone belomgs to Miliauka what was it doing down in the sewers?"

"It was stolen from the Tulita. That vermin-infested body was probably the half-caste thief. A fitting end I say."

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

"The ring is something to look for at some point, but it is not a focus for us." Silas looks about to make certain we can talk freely.

"Those of you who have recently joined us don't know that there is a cove of drug smugglers that needs to be dealt with. We aslo have what else lies in the sewers. If we can find the ring whilst we're there then great, but that skull gate concerns me and then there are those skum."

He pauses for a moment. "And once again I find myself saying something that I can't believe is issuing from my lips. We should try and help Montgomery." And finishes under his breath, "Even if he does go after smugglers."

"I don't want to add anymore to ye plate, but the Dragoons are looking for something called Bloodbanes Gold. I think I got sold a fake map to it...however from what I've heard about this booty, letting it just fall into their hands would be disastrous mateys. And the other maps I've seen sold under different names look like the same thing too or close enough. Aye I agree helping this sailor regain himself would be to my liking too."

Things start clicking in Silas' head. After all this talk of Capt. Montgomery and Milliauka he remembers something else. The Sergeant that was attacking Milliauka had Montgomery's famed Warhammer Maelstrom!

"Hmmm. Some of you know about the Black Shark and the sharkmen. I think that we've encountered a Dragoon who has been bitten. More than that he had Captain Montgomery's warhammer. I wonder if he wanders around dark alleys at night." There's a glint in his eye as he says that.

Garr Bloodbane, a Pirate Lord whom some say divided his hoard into a score of chests and hid on different islands throughout the Pearl Eye Atoll – a chain of volcanic islands also known as Bloodbane’s Knuckles. Maps are for sale from everyone and his brother in Port Shaw all claiming to be the "real map".

Oro-Tu raises an eyebrow about the black shark comment, since he is currently sent to inform Milliauka about them. "Then we need sleep and speak to Milliauka quickly. Let us go."

"I agree with you Oro-Tu. Once we have returned the jawbone or determined what Milliauka thinks we should do to keep it safe for the Tulita, we can decide whether to pursue this Dragoon or the drug smugglers or the map."

So are you going to the Chapter House to rest and then to see Milliauka then? Anyone heard from Beth?

Human Magus/Wizard 4 | HP: 35/35 | AC: 18/21, T: 17, FF: 11/14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +4, Will: +4 | Melee: +5/6, Ranged: +6 | CMB: +5/6, CMD: 18 | Init: +3, Perception: +0 | AP 5/5 | Speed: 30ft

I believe that is the plan.

Yes I believe so if that's traditionally where the party goes to rest. Don't know about Beth though.

Female Human Swashbuckler 7; HP 62/62, Init +4, AC: 23 /T: 17 /F: 17 ; Fort:+4/ Ref:+9/ Will:+4; Per: +11; BAB: +7, CMB: +7, CMD: 24; panache - 3/3, charmed life - 4/4

Sounds like a plan to me. No haven't heard anything from Beth lately.

You stay the night at the Chapter House and then head out east to the Tulita Village to see Milliauka. Upon seeing the Jawbone, he summons Mokoli Ali’i and in a ceremony presents the Jawbone to Mokoli Ali’i pronouncing him to be Son of Pele. News spreads like wildfire among the Tulita and they begin to leave the plantations to be with the 'Son of Pele'. The party will be the honored guests of the village for the rest of the day and evening and as long as they wish to remain.

XP 1000 each for returning the Jawbone.

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

One of the things we were clearly concerned about was the safety of the Jawbone given it has already been stolen once.

"Silas, I am not sure that even great warrior such as ourselves could keep it as safe as Mokoli Ali’i. He has Milliauka and thirty warriors to help keep it safe. More will come every day. We invite danger with our plans. If someone takes it again. We will take it back."
I agree with you Silas, but this seems like the best plan for now.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

Mokoli Ali’i stands forward and surrounding him are 30 large Tulita warriors with great swords. "My warriors will guard the Jawbone of Kaho Ali'i with their lives. That which was lost has been found. We will all die before we see it lost again!"

Female Human Swashbuckler 7; HP 62/62, Init +4, AC: 23 /T: 17 /F: 17 ; Fort:+4/ Ref:+9/ Will:+4; Per: +11; BAB: +7, CMB: +7, CMD: 24; panache - 3/3, charmed life - 4/4

Natalie smiles at the determination of the Tulita. "I've seen that look and heard similar words. Even should these warriors fail the thief will loose more than they want to attain...a bone. I believe it's as safe as anything in this life can be."

"I would continue with the rest of you even though we have returned a great prize to the Tulita. I feel that there is still much for us to accomplish. It seems we have many options open to us, but it is day and I'm not sure we will find this Dragoon now if the shark has taken him. I would rather see about facing this drug smuggler or going back to see what other mysteries lie lost in the sewers, then return to hunt the Dragoon tonight."

Human Magus/Wizard 4 | HP: 35/35 | AC: 18/21, T: 17, FF: 11/14 | Fort: +6, Ref: +4, Will: +4 | Melee: +5/6, Ranged: +6 | CMB: +5/6, CMD: 18 | Init: +3, Perception: +0 | AP 5/5 | Speed: 30ft

"Hunting a were-shark at night? I can't tell if you're brave or foolish." Wexley says with a grunt. "But I agree, we should finish our sewer business as quickly as possible."

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

"Liealoha, I think you misunderstood what I had said. The dragoon is very much still on duty as we had to rescue Miliakua from him. His name is Darenar."

"I did misunderstand. So what do you all think then? Darenar, the drug smuggler or the sewers? I am reluctant to hunt an active dragoon though if he has turned we will probably have to sooner or later."

Male Human, Tulita Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 8 / Fighter (Unbreakable) 1; HP 83/104(122), DR 4/-, Init +2, AC 20(18)/FF 18/T 13; F +12(14), R +5, W +5(7); Per +13; CMB +14(24), CMD 27(37); Rage 21/21

Oro-Tu move to Milliauka and begins to speak to him in his native tongue, informing him of why he is here. His elders sent him to seek guidance on the black shark attacks on their village, a bad omen but one which the other elders refuse to seek help for.

Male Human Bard (Sandman) 10; HP 78, Init +3, AC: 24 T: 17 F:20 ; Fort:+6, Ref:+11/14 vs traps, Will:+10; Per: +12; BAB: +7/+2 CMB: +10, CMD: 23

"The sewers and the drug smugglers represent the hardest challenge I think. We have fought one of the sharkmen and been triumphant, but the beasts with the smugglers and that bone gate concern me greatly."

Male Human, Tulita Barbarian (Invulnerable Rager) 8 / Fighter (Unbreakable) 1; HP 83/104(122), DR 4/-, Init +2, AC 20(18)/FF 18/T 13; F +12(14), R +5, W +5(7); Per +13; CMB +14(24), CMD 27(37); Rage 21/21

Oro-Tu is good with either, dragoon or sewers

Female Human Swashbuckler 7; HP 62/62, Init +4, AC: 23 /T: 17 /F: 17 ; Fort:+4/ Ref:+9/ Will:+4; Per: +11; BAB: +7, CMB: +7, CMD: 24; panache - 3/3, charmed life - 4/4

"The smuggler.

"Then we should decide. Which is more pressing to take care of? For Oro-Tu the dead children found desire me to destroy all refuse beneath this place."

Did Milliauka have anything to say about my report, give me a new job or message for the village elders, or suggest one thing be done over another?

He will let you know the black sharks mean the return of Dajobas. Your people must decide to let the outsiders help them in their struggle against them. Still another task to be done on the list

Oro-Tu nods to Milliauka, "Do you know of shark dragoon or this bone gate? Which should be taken care first?"

"I know nothing about a bone gate, but the big man is now beyond help. Dajobas has him now."

Oro-Tu grunts, turning to his companions, "Hunt shark man first?"

might forgot one or don't know about one from before but I think options are shark man, sewers (bone gate and ring), smugglers, or going back to my village (I don't think we should do the last one yet)
