So here's an interesting question:
I read somewhere (and this is why I'm asking for verification in case I'm remembering wrong) that intelligent animals can take class levels. It makes sense: if you have an awakened animal, it can learn to do things. I'm curious, how does that work?
Specifically, I want to know if:
A. An oracle with the animal mystery can have his 6 intelligence animal take class levels and gain abilities that way.
B. if an intelligent weapon can take levels, say learn magic by study and advance as a wizard.
Is that possible? Are there any rules about that?

B. Undetermined. Technically a magical item isn't a creature, however if it was also an animated object I would be inclined to say yes.
