"Mmm... warm..." Tam comments as Brand heals her.
She looks over the bite mark. Still standing a little shakily, she notes that she otherwise feels fine. Tam looks up at Brand and smiles. "Thank you, Brand."
Looking over the giant pile of rubble, she shakes her head and responds, "Let's try the door, then."

Beads of sweat break out on Tam's forehead as she tries harder to push her way into wherever the rubble-filled room and stairwell lead. She catches her arm shuddering from the exertion. "Stop..." she whispers to her arm, catching it and getting it to relax.
"You know...ungh..." she grunts between breaths, "If this doesn't work...grrng...we can still climb up from that broken tower...guh..."

@Brand: y'know... there's a reason why chivalry was dying even before the modern age. ;)
As the door moves a little more, you all hear something loudly collapse behind it. The room floor trembles as you hear a loud rumbling when the door suddenly shuts close, knocking Tam back down on the floor.
As the dust settles, you notice that the one of the planks of the door broke in the middle, exposing a bit of rubble.

As he tries to help, he slumps against the door frame. "I'm not of much use here."

This time the door won't budge, even with the mass of bodies on the door pushing.

Ashen's attempt to open the door only makes it shudder as it tried to open, but is still blocked by the rubble.

"I figured we could try pushing through the blocked wall there" as he points to the south.
"Or we can climb. That also works."
Haphazardly, Brand casts Spark on the wooden door to see of it will ignite and burn out of the way. Perhaps of the door is clear, they can move whatever's blocking the door aside.

Ashen was nervous, climbing or any other feats of strength was never her strong point.

Isabella was able to successfully tie the rope on the handle. Since the door opens outward, the others would have no problem climbing now.
Just a reminder, move your tokens to the second floor according to your actions per post, whenever applicable. You may want to discuss formation and single file sequence in the Discussion thread.

Botting for a bit; Tam and Elsabeth both take 10 climbing the rope.
As Isabella opens the right door she sees shelves lining the walls, thinking that this darkened room might once have been a storeroom, though its contents have long since succumbed to the passage of time. A crack in the northern wall has apparently let in some rainwater, which has collected in a large puddle on the floor.
What you see in the middle of the room is some sort of lizard which has pale yellow underside, and bright green scales elsewhere on its 3-foot-long body. Seeing Isabella, it jumps around in place as if excited, tongue flicking out from time to time.

"There is a lizard there that does not seems aggressive, it looks as if it is excited to see people. Is someone used to dealing with animals? We might be able to befriend it with a bit of food I guess."

Isabella opens the door and walks towards the lizard. She holds her hand out as one would to a dog, so that it can sniff the hand. Her sword is sheathed.
