It's actually a move action to use active perception as far as I know(so can't listen, move and attack in the same round), but I'm fine with your using it as your action last round
Tenerak figures out where the goblin ran of to based on his footsteps and makes his way over next to it to swing a sword at it's head..but his aim if off and the goblin dodges underneath the blade.
Richard then rushes forward and cleaves the goblin in twain sending the top part of the goblin sailing through the air to land next to the discarded hyena meat.
Out of combat
The goblins had a small sized short sword, short bow and leather armor each..as well as a piece of slightly rotting hyena meat
(What now?)

After checking the door for traps and finding it both untrapped and unlocked you open the door to reveal:
This curving room is a good-sized kitchen, complete with decaying tables, cupboards, and bins. One newer table has what seems like a child’s laboratory set up, with broken cups standing in for beakers.
In the middle of the room are a goblin wearing leather armor with a rather well made looking falchion at his hip and what looks like a wand who seems to be working on a sort of golem... It's pieced together from mostly green metal parts and has what looks like a dead human left arm.

The goblin notices you entering and then taps the other creature on the back and points in your direction. The animated creature slowly start to turn your way
and then casts a spell
after he finishes with his spell he concentrates a bit and a duplicate goblin which looks exactly the same (maybe a bit darker) steps out of the goblins body and stands next to him.

Richard moves into the room and takes a swing at one of the duplicate goblins but his zeal overcomes his good sense, and the blow is a spectacular miss.
Tenerek moves forward following Richard til he can see something, the golem thing..and then attacks the golem thing hitting it with his sword..and a resounding ring can be heard through out the room. A large gash appears in the golems body but it seems the damage is less then you'd expect against something similar..like a human wearing plate armor (DR 2/adamantium)
Eladrian moves into the room (I'm fine with assuming that you all started together when opening the next door, so feel free to take another standard action - if you do it before it's the enemies turn again)
Torrag moves closer and tries to remember anything about a golem that looks like this..and comes to the conclusion that's it's a very rare and specific type of construct..but it does seem to have DR/2 adamantium and the typical construct traits
(I think you get a free knowledge check when you first see something, so feel free to take a standard action - if you do it before it's the enemies turn again)

Torrag fires a bit of acid at the golem hitting the construct on the chest plate where the acid bubbles and fizzes a tiny bit.
Sjonegaard moves next to Tenerek and raises his earthbreaker and attempts to pummel the golem. The still slow to react golem get's smashed on the head which causes it to dent. Sparks leap all across it's body and it leans sideways. It crackles and fizzles and seems a bit..unstable.
Eladrian steps forward and slashes with all his might at the golem hitting it but his blade partially bounces off of the golem.
The electricty sparking around the golem seem to intensify even more
The two goblin body merge with each other to form 1 goblin again. The goblin then takes a step away from Richard and starts to cast a spell
And another copy of the goblin steps out of its body and the 2 of them look at the golem who's starting to fight you.
The golem slowly raises one arm, sparks flying everywhere..it's balance gone..it tries to slam down it's metal arm on top of 1R2S3E4T: 1d4 ⇒ 2Sjonegaard

Richard moves forward to take another swing at the goblin(s) and even though his weapon doesn't hit flesh it does cleave though one of the identical goblins and it dissipates into thin air (You took out his mirror image double)
Tenerek after dodging the electric burst, will stay out of the way of the sight unimpaired
@Eladrian, sorry, the will save was for Richard only. i just noticed that wasn't clear. i'll be nice and use that 16 for your attack
Eladrian turns his attention to the wee goblin, his weapon biting deep and drawing blood.
Torrag steps into the room between Sjonegaard and Tenerek and casts Acid Splash..hitting the goblin right between the eyes.
Sjonegaard moves into the room, painting himself into a corner. As he does so the goblin takes a swing at him with his falchion
to hit AC Sjonegaard: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5 but the goblin just ends up scratching the wall next to Sjonegaard
Sjonegaard then returns the favor by attacking back, but the small creature just steps out of the way of the swing.
The goblin then proudly displays a holy symbol and you can feel a wave of negativity wash over you, draining you of your energy

@Torrag, sorry I though I mentioned the 10ft burst, if you were outside that then you didn't take any damage
50%miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 91
Richard having seen what happens when you try to hit one of the goblins decides to not take any chances this time and swings his greatsword through both of them first dissipating one of them and then cleaving then next one in half.
Out of combat, so no need to expend resources (acid could) after that. if it makes you feel better you can use your attacks to hit the goblins remains
The goblin carried: A (small) masterwork falchion, a stick of wood (which glows when detected for magic), an unholy symbol
The golem carried nothing, but even in it's damage state it's certainly worth something

"The remains of that construct will probably fetch 50-100gp back in town, so it's probably worth crating it up for transport."

Torrag can't quite figure out what the wand does
I'll assume that people who'll want to heal will do so before opening the door - so feel free to apply healing
Richard leads the way to the next door:
This curving hall has been badly damaged, but there are intact doors to the west, east, and south, as well as a large double door leading to the core of the tower. One corner of the room has collapsed in a mound of green glass rubble, but a tunnel runs through the debris, shored up with rough timbers.
From the outside, this entrance is covered by a screen of canvas and wood painted to blend into the rubble making it a bit difficult to spot if you don't know what to look for.

This room is full to bursting with a motley collection of cots and other furniture cobbled from scraps of wood and cloth. The stench of rotting food is overpowering. Doors lead to the west and the north.
A riot of broken bits of metal, glass, stone, and other things scavenged by the goblins from the ruins of the keep and the surrounding woods clutter the room. Goblins find value in practically everything, so this chamber looks as much like a trash heap.
