...does that mean it will take several hours to dig Tenerak out?
If he makes his reflex save -> no
..if he fails...this is some sort of custom cave-in which refers to a cave-in..and then alters pretty much everything about it..so since he said he was walking slowly I'm going to rule he'd be on the edge and can easily dig himself out with some help and just takes the damage.

Richard looks at the collapsed section of building dubiously.
"I hope that that goblin wasn't silly enough to trap itself in there... although to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised..."
Shaking his head, he helps Tenerek dig himself out, then cautiously heads south, looking for more goblins.

"Thanks for the help digging me out..... Well I Survived that... luckily.. i'm hoping we can find something to kill smash to stop this damned darkness though"

Richard walks into a small square unremarkable room which ends at a set of double doors.
After examining them and not finding them locked or trapped the doors are opened and you see the next room:
From this curving room, doors lead out of this room, and a passage
leads further down the room. A small table with four rickety chairs sits in the middle of the room. A pair of dice lies on the table amid cups and plates.
From where you are standing you can see one of the two goblins stationed here has fallen asleep on his half-eaten plate of food. The other goblin passes the time by putting small pieces of food in her slumbering mate’s ears, creating a culinary work of art (by goblin standards). The goblin is totally engrossed in the process.

As the goblin notice you opening the door the one creating art draws her shortbow and fires it at Richard. She lets her comrade continue to sleep—there’s no sense in disturbing her masterpiece by waking him up!
To hit flatfooted AC Richard: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 but to quick to act she doesn't concentrate on aiming and her arrow shatters against the ceiling.
Perception check sleeping goblin: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3
The sleeping goblin continues to snore with food filled ears.

Assuming I would have had time to reliad the crossbow before initiative, Torrag moves forward 10 feet to the doorway and fires at the awake goblin.

Can someone move Torrag to the doorway? Thanks.

Richard moves into the room and cuts of the sleeping goblins head sending it spinning through room spraying bits of food everywhere. The other goblin tracks it movement through the air going: "Noooooooooooo!!!!!"
@richard; Moved you back a square since you entered difficult terrain and as far as I know you only have a 20ft move speed, doesn't effect anything else, but just in case you wondered why you are some place else
@Torrag; Yeah, plenty of time to reload (and heal if needed) before moving on
Torrag moves forward and fires his crossbow...up into the ceiling, it must be that he's distracted by the flying pinata head.
Sjonegaard moves forward and hurls a javelin at the distracted goblin, piercing her shoulder with his weapon.

Tenerek moves into the room and with his longsword in two hands delivers a powerful stroke that first cuts through the goblins shortbow, then the string holding the 2 halves together and then continues to make the 2 goblins a matching - headless - pair
At that point a door in the wall opens up and a goblin emerges
He then has a very surprised reaction on his face to seeing you here standing next to 2 decapitated goblin corpses. For those that are able to tell individual goblins apart..this seems to be the one that you fought a short while ago right before the ceiling collapsed on Tenerek.

Assuming the door to the top and not bottom
Starting to clear the area systematically Sjonegaar leads the party to the first door and after going over it a bit you find out that you can't find a trap on it..it is locked.
(and just so speed up some things)
The door on the other side of the corridor also doesn't seem trapped and doesn't seem to be locked.
(And since you are a bit further down the corridor now, description of the rest of the room you are in)
Rubble and sharpened sticks barricade on of the entrances to this curved room, and a thin wall runs down the room’s middle. To one side, a short passageway leads to a similar room (which is where you came from). Doors are set in the outer wall of the room and both walls of the passageway.
(Do you guys want to go for the unlocked door or try to get through the locked door first or do something else?)

"Well, we can always try and make our own keys!" Eladrian says as he steps forward and starts trying to force the door.
Strength: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
After a couple of pitiful attempts at shouldering the door open (really.. a child could do better that he just did), Eladrian steps back for someone else to try. Hanging his head in shame, he goes back to his lookout duties.

Torrag will step up to try and break down the door. Presumably switching places with Eladrian.
He has his axe drawn.

![]() |

After Eladrian ineffectively bashes against the door Torrag switches places with him and tries to bash down the door himself..succeeding quite nicely. There are a few splinters flying everywhere..but the door is cracked down the middle and allows for access into the room now.
Rows of wooden racks on the walls of this room hold a ramshackle collection of rusty blades, scraps of armor, and warped arrows.
Unfortunately, goblins aren’t very good weaponsmiths. Six Small dogslicers and six Small horsechoppers are piled haphazardly around the room. The other items are unusable and worthless.

![]() |

Tenerek takes a closer look and confirms that everything in here is of poor goblin manufacturing.
Richard then leads the party out of the room and across the corridor to the next door:
Stairs wind upward to the right, circling around a glowing wall of semi-translucent green stone. It seems the tower was built around a core of some other material—a spire within a spire.
(Do you want to go up the stairs or continue to explore on your current level? - as an OOC note, it's still part of this level and it's not the entry to the next part of the Emerald Spire)

![]() |

"I agree. Let's finish this floor before we go upstairs." Eladrian says as he move across the hall
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Richard enters a cramped tunnel with Eladrian at his back ( and followed by the rest of the party);
The tunnel is 4 feet tall.
Medium creatures walking upright can navigate the tunnel by squeezing to move and thus taking a –4 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to AC. Small and smaller creatures can move about normally, as can most quadrupedal Medium creatures (including goblin dogs).
After a bit of effort of squeezing through the tunnel you reach a canvas piece of cover and after pushing it aside you enter the tower behind the collapsed ceiling;
This round tower is badly damaged, its floor strewn with rubble. On side is a huge pile of rubble which is going to take about 20 hours of hard labor to clear away.
After an extensive search you can't find anything that is of any interest to you in this area.

![]() |

After a quick search you don't think the door is trapped and it's unlocked. As you examine it you can hear various goblins scream on the other side
When you open it you see:
Two tables with benches lie scattered around this mess hall.
Decaying food of an indescribable nature sits on the tables. At the one end of the chamber there are 2 doors exiting the room (one of which you just entered through).
Currently, two goblins are fighting over the hindquarters of a mangy coyote. Their argument can be heard for quite a distance outside the room.

Tenerek follows the first person into the room
The remaining goblin drops the hyena meat and moves towards the other exit, drawing a short bow as he goes sending an arrow Richard's way
