GM, I made it a point to say that I was teleporting everyone onto the same platform, which would have been the rightmost platform on the map. I'm not sure I understand why we are all on separate platforms.

Sarzseck unleashes a bolt of lightning from the sage jewel and it flashes through three of the spectres.

The ghost hovers closer to the group and releases a torrent of ghostly water. The water rushes through the party, not strong enough to know anybody over.

The other spectre loops around and flanks Illution.....

Everyone withing 30 feet of the ghost and looking at it, has to save against its corrupting gaze attack at the start of your turn, DC 16 will save for partial effect. Remember you can close your eyes or avert them if you like, if you are targeting it and willing to take the penalties.

Only looking directly at a creature with a gaze attack leaves an opponent vulnerable. This is a line in the wording that I always look at when running tables. If you are not focusing on the target, I do not see a reason to roll or do any other things.

Seeing that the remaining red spectre is hovering precariously close to the now masked elf, Lerocnel/Elfmask will step 5 foot northwest away from it and use his Scroll of Force Anchor upon the untouched Ghost.

Sarszcek moves to bite the ghost, as he approaches the ghost, he sees visions of a near endless fall, and the bones on his face shift as if he was the one that fell. He still manages to chomp down hard on the ghost. Sarscek takes 2d10 ⇒ (10, 3) = 13 damage and 1d4 ⇒ 1 charisma damage from the ghost's gaze.

Nay, as with zhe moving statue of lead, healing of zhe sort we need is beyond my means. I have no scrolls nor potions to restore lost life, just lost blood.

The ranger looks at the state of the party and wonders how much more we can take.

We may have to press forward as turning back could be more deadly. Perhaps we find aid within. Otherwise, my only other option is to send my messenger to request items to aid us.

Roland has a bird feather token - not sure if it could carry a message to town (or how far that is) to bring us potions/scrolls.
Otherwise, finding a place to rest - although that seems tenuous at best.

Sarsczek shakes his head back and forth a few times, then turns and hisses at Roland as his wounds heal. After a moment he calms. "Grrrr.... Rolly... Fanks." **SNIFF SNIFF** "My head feel funny. Ghosty taste bad."

He meanders about on the cramped platform, sniffing the ground and looking over the ledges.

What sort of feelings is the sage jewel giving now?

As for status, I can handle the 2 negative levels and the 1 Cha damage for at least one more encounter. I'm good to tough it out and push forward. That encounter actually went incredibly well as far as I'm concerned. With 3 specters only landing 4 attacks total, I'd say we got off easy. They are distributed enough that I don't think anyone is incapable of contributing, so go team!

I agree on all counts with Sarsczek. I have been in party where 3 specters nearly TPK'd us ....twice. Roland had some stat damage from first fight. I thought he was caught up with the last save he rolled .vs ghost gaze though.

I can use heroism on someone to offset the negative levels. Illuthion and I seem to be the skill monkeys of the group, so I'd suggest one of us. I could also pass the jewel off to Gronk or Roland, but I think even with the negative levels I'm still the knowledge (history) guy as far as eligible recipients are concerned.
