Thanks ZD! Did this qualify for the Scarab Sages faction card objective of 'Explore an ancient sight during the course of an adventure. The site must be at least 2500 sq ft (50 ft x 50 ft) and have been abandoned by it's original occupants at least 1000 years ago?

Also, I'm willing to pitch in to clear any lingering status effects. I have bonuses to saves vs death effects, so I'll just roll to clear mine, but I'll certainly pitch in for someone less confident to get a resto.

Fort saves for temp negative levels: 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 10 + 4 = 341d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 10 + 4 = 28

Rolling for Neg Levels.

Sarszcek, yes it does. 8000 years to be exact...

Thank you, GM Z..D.., for running us through this adventure. :)

And before I forget to do so, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. ;)

Personal reminder to myself of stuff used in this scenario:

Potion of Lesser Restoration
Scroll of Force Anchor
2 charges on Wand: Inf. Heal.
1 charge on Wand: Shield
1 charge on Wand: Vanish
Scroll of Comp. Lang.

PS. Since this character wasn't too effective for most of the comparative challenges posed, I don't mind chipping in for any necessary restorations to my fellow party members; just let me know when. :)

Oh snap, I didn't roll against my negative levels.

Fort Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Fort Save: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Looks like I need to deal with 2 permanent negative levels. Ugh. I'll just spend the money on the service, unless someone is silver crusade and still has to spend money on their fellows for their faction journal.

I believe you can still use danger sense on those for +4 to each, and probably guidance and your product reroll if you have one.

Also...

Aid Another wrote:

In melee combat, you can help a friend attack or defend by distracting or interfering with an opponent. If you’re in position to make a melee attack on an opponent that is engaging a friend in melee combat, you can attempt to aid your friend as a standard action. You make an attack roll against AC 10. If you succeed, your friend gains either a +2 bonus on his next attack roll against that opponent or a +2 bonus to AC against that opponent’s next attack (your choice), as long as that attack comes before the beginning of your next turn. Multiple characters can aid the same friend, and similar bonuses stack.

You can also use this standard action to help a friend in other ways, such as when he is affected by a spell, or to assist another character’s skill check.

Aid Another (Fort): 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 10 + 4 = 18

Aid Another (Fort): 1d20 + 10 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 10 + 4 = 26

Assuming they are normal Spectres, the DC is 16, so I think you're fine assuming someone else rolls to aid.

Let's Aid that Fort save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8. This seems worthy of T-Shirt reroll. ;)

Let's Aid that Fort save reroll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18. Much better. :)

Come to think of it, would Soul Stimulant be of any help?
