So I was reading the playtest for Occult Adventures. Magneto would be awesome to make as a Aether Kineticist.

Soooo, I just realized I made a really dumb mistake with Theon. I took Ancestral Weapon on an Exotic weapon. Going to need to retrain my other Trait. I'm really not sure how I messed that up!

DM-I'm not sure what your plan is for certs, but if you could simply not put Ky'angs name on my cert. I will not be able to continue playing her, as we did not have enough of the scenario complete before the playtest was over (John Compton posted something concerning this).

Yes, I can finish the scenario, just can't play her again, so I'll be retooling her before I play her at 2 and I don't want to keep the name. And yes, the number is fine, just want to save the name for when I can actually build Ky'ang in the Fall.

I'm a little confused. if everyone was able to act, why was there a surprise round?

Only you, Zarlonna, and Ky'ang got to act because you made the perception check to see the ambush. You have acted twice while Theon and Roscoe only got to go once. Mal got hit twice before he even got to act.

I don't believe I posted this yet...
Also, does anyone have a suggestion on a good trait to take for my Lore Warden? I had originally picked Heirloom Weapon for the extra +2 bonus to Trip with my khopesh until I (stupidly) realized that khopesh won't work with that due to being an exotic weapon.

I always like Dangerously Curious because it makes UMD a class skill and give you an extra point, or Seeker to make Perception a class skill and give an extra point.

Looks like you already have seeker.
For fighter types I like Armor Expert since it basically gives you a +1 to like 5 skills. This might not be that big a deal for you though since you don't get Medium armor.
If you are going to try and get into flanks a lot Dirty Fighter is really nice.
Reactionary is also one of my favorites for melee types.

There is a trait from the Cheliax guide that lessens your use of combat expertise. I think it's called Threatening Defender.
