I guess the taffy worked for healing. His roll was untrained.

Silently Chuffy moves up to decorated door, checking it over to see if the skulls will do anything if the door is opened.

Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 24
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 +1 for traps

Once he looks over the door, Chuffy moves back to the rest of the goblins, weapon ready for the dog when it shows itself.

Mogmurch and Chuffy, silent and sneaky, move around the cabin. Mogmurch peeks inside: he sees a big toad and a bed with a goblin lying on it. Chuffy walk to the door of the cabin, but sees a nasty evil smelly dog attached to the aft mast! By a chain! It's barking! Nasty pointy teeth! Bad doggy! Bad!

The dog is chained to the aft mast, with a chain of about 20 feet.

"We need fire. We should fire boat and dog and wasp mud balls."
Whispers Reta.

"me hate dog...me kill dog now"
Reta sheath blade, draw bow, aim dog.

Woof! Woof! Dog barks, dog stretches chain. Reta shoot at dog, but just barely the arrow flies past it.

Dog wants to bite Reta, but Reta is too far away and chain keeps dog back.

Poog grabs a javelin and launches it at the dog.

Poog throw javelin, and Chuffy throw dart. Both hit. Dog is more like porcupine now. Being porcupine is not good for dog, and falls over. Much blood flows out of dog, and no longer barking.

Poog whispers: "Poog wait for sneaky Reta and sneaky Mogmurch tell Poog what up."

Moving over to the dog, Chuffy will grab back his dart before moving to the other side of the door, opposite of Reta.

Reta and Chuffy move quickly-quietly-sneaky into the cabin.

The air in the cabin is thick and close, stinking of swamp and sweat, with a thick, glistening layer of mud on the floor and swaths of oily fungus clinging to the walls. Even more dangling decorations of goblin bone and animal-part fetishes hang from the ceiling on lengths of sinew here, and what appears to be a nest made of rags, sticks, mud, and cast- off bits of clothing lies against the westernmost wall. But scattered amid the filth and clutter are several exotic-looking man-made objects—including a tantalizing red chest.

Inside is a big frog, and a goblin woman. The frog lets out a loud Croak! as it sniffs the air. What is it, Lord Longtung? the woman says to the big frog as she turns around. It's Vorka! Big, evil. ugly Vorka. Vorka will eats faces of goblins and boil the ears!

That wasn't quite a critical (only if the actual die roll is 19 or 20, not if the final value is 19), but I'll treat the second roll as a second attack, ok?

I'll boil you in oil! Vorka says, as she starts casting a spell. Lord longing looks lazily at Reta, then lashes out with his huge tongue! Tongue almost hit Reta!

Chuffy moves along the top wall, pulling another dart before throwing it at Vorka.

"Vorka no get spell. Poog, Mog get in here and do something."

Poog runs to the cabin, while praying "Poog need big fire, Zarongel!" He points at Vorka.

Mog uses the wall for cover, shooting his bow on a stick, by leaning around the corner.

Chuffy throw dart and Poog throw fire! Nice fire! But Poog miss, and Chuffy miss as well. Mogmurch is much better, shooting bow-on-a-stick at Vorka, and hitting her in the butt!

Poog cackles deliriously..."Zarongel, hee, hee, FIRE" and spreads his hands out towards the rats. casts burning hands

"Goblins give Poog lots of space. Except Vorka - you come close."

Chuffy lets out a cackle as the flames roll over the rats.

"Yes Poog, burn the bad rats. Burn Vorka too."

Then Chuffy will show off his fine acrobatics skills as he tries to close in on Vorka. Moving along the wall toward Reta then down, hoping to get close to flank with Reta.

Totally not enough bombs for this. I am not thinking very well of this class.

Mog reloads and fires at the bad goblin. "Super-ugly need another bolt in face!"

Fire burns rats, we eat fried rat later. Smell of charred fur and high pitched squeaking. Chuffy jumps over rats and moves to Reta.

Mogmurch fires a bolt, but it plinks off Vorka. Stupid Vorka. Frog would be much easier to hit.

Reta give Vorka a good slash. Vorka cackle Ah, blood. That make a good sauce. as the firework in her hand starts sparkling more. You're too sinewy, but I can stew you!

Vorka doesn't look too bothered by the large cuts she has, and she doesn't look at all ready to give up.

Chuffy try to stab the frog, but the tongue is too sticky. Bah! Make a strength check to break grapple

Poog bravely runs away. You can climb the rigging, rats don't swarm up there.

Chuffy sees Vorka distracted by using the firework, and quickly stabs her, making light cut. He then turns back onto the frog, but is scared when he remembers he is wrapped in tongue.

Sorry, busy week. I did post once but it seems it got ate, dirty forum goblins :) It seems I'm gonna have to drop some of my games as my boss tells me I'll be busy for awhile. I'll try to finish this module but I won't continue to the next one.

Mogmurch sings as he shakes the rats off while loading another bolt, then peers back around the corner to take a shot at the frog.
