Kellan holds her breath as the party (assumedly) makes their way back to that statue. She then inspects it to see if there's any way to move it.

"Why fiddle with lockpicks if it takes no effort to force them open?"

Ilya walks over to the statue with the others and pretends to get ready to kick it. She looks over at Swayaah, grins, and lowers her leg as Kellan starts her inspection of the statue.

"Because if you force it, everyone knows you broke in. Don't make a mess unless you have to. Doesn't that line up with the monk way of... um... balance yin-yang or something? Be subtle like the wind?"

Swayaah starts looking for secret passages behind the statue. At least Kellan's trying.

While Swayaah finds the rather obvious secret passage, Ketill and Vayu point out all the cracks in the ancient construction. Behind the statue is a long hall with double doors on each side. There is the sound of chanting coming from the north end.

Swayaah nods, gives the signal to be quiet, and the does her sneaky sneaky routine. She moves up to the northern door and tries to look inside without bein gnoticed.

"In my experience, chanting usually leads to demonic cults. Let's go check it out, and perhaps we'll get to disrupt something horrible. That'd be fun."

Swayaah looks inside, and sees six stone pews crowd a dimly lit chapel. At the north end of the room, a flight of seven slim stairs leads up to a stage. A massive curtain of thick black fabric completely obscures the north wall beyond the stage area. Two different sets of double doors dominate the chapel’s southern wall.

There are a dozen slain knights of Ioun star here, four of which have implants of pieces of emerald spire crystal. When Swayaah steps in - stealthily but not stealthily enough, the knights rise to defend the chapel.

"Dangit." Swayaah notices the rock she kicked.

"I was taught to approach others in an upfront and personal manner," Ilya responds to Swayaah, while the party's still outside the secret passage.

She patiently waits as Swayaah and Ketill enter the passage, and hears it when Swayaah kicks the rock and curses.

"Need any help?" Ilya calls out to her.

"Yes! Undead are SOO much easier to kill than those robot things. Anyone familiar enough with them to know if they will be weak to specific weapons or such?"

Kellan enchants Talon with holy and ghost touch, then rushes forward to attack one of the undead.

During the next turn, if one of them tries to attack her, she will spend another arcane point to parry and riposte.

"Um...undead things are uh, wait dad forced me to read lots of Erastil stuff. 'Ol Rusty, I called him. Dad hated that."

Kellan rips into the undead, dealing a strike and - unexpected to her - draws blood.

The knights close in on the tiefling, and start hacking with their battle axes

Swayaah bares her claws. "I think we're gonna be a choke point here. Ilvan, guard Ketill." She clicks her heels and then climbs 10 feet up the wall, over the head of one of the knights. She bares her claws.

Activating slippers of climbing and moving. Swayaah is 5 feet up the wall.

With that last strike, Kellan falls to the floor.

Ketill throws a bomb and quickly moves back, making sure he is not the next target.

Zen’yr moves in, and readies her wand in case anyone gets injured. She than casts invisibility on herself.

With that last strike, Kellan falls to the floor.

Ketill studies the undead knights, and realizes a strange thing - although the are undead, they do seem to breathe, and function more like humans than undead. They have no elemental vulnerabilities or resistances.

He promptly lobs a firebomb and lights one of them on fire.

Zen'yr moves in and grabs her wand in case Kellan gets horribly smacked by wayward undead knights.

Vayu empties his barrels on the undead, and brings down the burning knight.

Ilya bashes down one of the knights, then focuses all her might on the second. She manages to strike an initial hit, but then he evades her blow. Twice! Ilya channels some energy and lands a final punch, but the undead knight is still standing, wildly swinging his axes twice.

"Bah! I wanted to wreck some humans." Suddenly three more creatures appear and she grins. With her barbarian fast movement, she runs up to the front knight and digs in.

Kellan then moves in front of Vayu and casts a spell, changing into a large creature with a strange, horselike face and long limbs. She keeps hold of Talon during this process. Caasting monstrous physique II to become a tikbalang.

"I om not a healer, but I can give you this" Ketill says as he draws a wand and activates it

Swayaah wants to wreck some humans, but the knight feel real enough - she deals some massive damage with her claw. Kellan doesn't get healed, as Ketill speeds the party up with flick of the wrist. Vayu uses the opportunity to rain explosive death on the leader of the knights.
