When you return to Eldeth and Droki, you see that she is holding tightly onto the derro. "Little runt tried to break away and kept laughing insanely the whole time." She spits to the side in disgust. "Should we keep going, try to take a break, or head topside for a real rest?"

After a steady upward climb, the tunnel opens into a huge, well-lit chamber. The glow of faerzress and bioluminescent fungi compete with shafts of white light that fall upon naturally formed shelves along the walls as well as a rocky mesa at the center of the cavern. Crudely formed ramps connect the different levels of the mesa up to the height of its two topmost tiers, which are linked by a sturdy bridge. Atop one of those tiers sits a large red egg. Atop the other stands a 50-foot-tall obelisk made of smooth black metal with a few noticeable imperfections, as though small parts of it were somehow chipped away.

A female derro stands close to the obelisk, gently patting and stroking its surface. The obelisk flashes once, the glow of faerzress around the cavern flaring in response. The derro squeals with glee as she snatches an object up from the ground, then writes something down in a small notebook.

At this point, you are far away and she hasn't noticed you. If you want to try something, get closer, etc it will require stealth.

Sorry, I should clarify. The spectator is definitely not going to hover in melee range. He's hovering about 15 feet off the ground. With a 13 int, there's no way he's getting in melee range. You can make that an axe throw if you want, though!

Galenus chucks an axe which cuts deeply into the flying creature. Eddrikk taunts it but it seems unresponsive. Galinndan fires an arrow at Eddrikk but misses.

The spectator fires two more days. It tries to confuse Cyrus but the goblin is too wily. It tries to inspire fear in Kanzen but he is too brave! The derro suddenly goes invisible.

Everyone but Galinndan and Irdril may go. He spent his action being confused, unfortunately and Irdril acted a little early in round 1.
