Kar once more chooses the greatest enemy (the ochre jelly just right of the group), but this time he thinks carefully about it and finds nothing in his Oath obliging him to go for melee combat. Not wanting his sword to end up completely eaten away, he fires a pair of magic bolts.

I don't believe so, we went straight in. Also you still have an Elixir of Boldness; which is basically Bless in a bottle.

Rankle eyes the oozes and then looks upwards towards the pillars... Then back to the oozes.

"Don't let them crush that pillar at the back! Those oozes are acting in tandem to stop us from progressing!"

He has no idea how acid will work, hopefully it doesn't cause any extreme reactions. Winding up his arm (he would obviously remind you it was not literally mind you), he quickly mixes a caustic brew and whips it at the twin puddings.

Acid Splash, DC 15 Dex: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (4, 3) + 4 = 11

"Oh and you better put your swords away, all we need is for them to split!"

Dungeon racing rules and FAQ

No short rest as you've been moving pretty quickly.

Kargoroth lands two solid blows but the jelly seems ready to take a significant amount more punishment. Rankle tosses his acid but the puddings are immune to it!

Rocky HP: 128/146

"Get in there, Rocky!" Myras shouts to the party's elemental friend, gesturing toward the advancing ochre jellies. Once again, Rocky melds into the stone floor and reappears just beyond the ochre jellies. Rising from the earth fist first, he slams the ochre jelly once with each great paw.

Level: 1
Casting time: 1 Action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V
Duration: Instantaneous
You whisper a discordant melody that only one creature of your choice within range can hear, wracking it with terrible pain.
The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 3d6 psychic damage and must immediately use its reaction , if available, to move as far as its speed allows away from you. The creature doesn’t move into obviously dangerous ground, such as a fire or a pit. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and doesn’t have to move away. A deafened creature automatically succeeds on the save.

At higher level
When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 1st

He then steps toward the paladin and claps him on the shoulder, offering a song of encouragement. "Kaaaaaaar's gonna swiiiiiiiiiing from tha chandalier, from tha chandalier!!!!"

Bonus Action: Bardic Inspiration for Kar to hopefully secure some later Eldritch Blast hits.

They are so far away that he will have to use the dash action to even come close.

Illusions, trickery, invisibility... none of it particularly useful at the moment, not even forcing them to laugh deliriously. Waagic rises to his feet in a blur of movement and gratefully seizes the elixir proffered by Boomtop. He downs it in one swig and even as the burns on his arms and chest begin to visibly heal, he readies himself to fight on!

Stand up, drink potion.

Elixir of Healing HP: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 4) + 4 = 11

Miraculously dodging yet another acidic blow he feels the vial vanish from his hand.

"I sure hope I did not drop that..."

Cracking the whip of the bolae again, another string of fuel gets added in.

Flaming Sphere, Bonus Action Ram: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 2) = 4 DC 15

The whip sizzles and sits on it, hoping to scorch it again.

It's the best I can do, hopefully it burns at the end of its turn as well. Its on bonus action + whenever they end their turn near it.

Kargoroth's first blast destroys the ooze!

Kargoroth, you can redirect that second blast but will need to make sure you have line of sight to your target of choice.

GM screen:

Dex save: 3d20 ⇒ (20, 8, 1) = 29
More fire: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 6) = 19

Ah, Rankle. I forgot that it was ram+end of turn. I just rolled a couple extra rounds worth of save and damage to catch up on that.

Myras to go.

I'm afraid Kar doesn't have any movement left with which to gain line of sight, so the second blast is wasted. At least we still have a ceiling over our heads.

Myras cackles with malicious glee as his insults confuse and distract the oozes. He continues to mock the largest one viciously.

VM: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 = 12

When Kar snipes the remaining ooze, he shouts “Nice shot, half-elf!”

Rocky burrows back toward the group.

GM screen:

wis save: 1d20 ⇒ 9
Attack Myras: 1d20 ⇒ 8

The ooze is not very wise and falls prey to Myras' cruel words. It dissolves in a puddle of misery. The last remaining foe, a lone little grey ooze, strikes at Myras with a small pseudopod but the bardic dervish whirls away, ready with his next verse.

Everyone, GO!

Rankle watches the flaming sphere crackle, "Whenever you're ready!"

He waits for the area to clear, there's no telling how well they will handle the flames.

Bump. No one has taken an action yet. There's one little grey ooze left. Wo can steal the kill?

I'll wait for the others because it's between friendly fire and dropping Concentration and my slots are tight currently.
