Better keep an eye on her I would actually prefer being behind this Tamarelle, I'm more comfortable towards the back. No offense mam, I wasn't referring to you. he nods towards Kaze o

Well for the longest time my forest housed both my tribe, and goblins. These goblins were the worst thing imaginable. They desired to burn the forest and us within it. For nigh on a two centuries our two tribes warred. Only recently my tribe grew too powerful for the hated goblins, and they destroyed them. All of that happened during my early childhood, but I can still remember the pain of learning that my eldest brother had died... since that day I have promised myself that I would someday avenge his death, personally. Whether the goblins I kill are related to those who killed my brother or not matters naught to me, I simply desire to kill goblins.

I know not where I come from, only that I exist and that reason is not enough for me. I must find my origins. As you may have noticed I don't look like your common human or devil. I think I am a mix of both but haven't gotten any confirmations. Trust me, I have asked myself that question on many a long night. Me and Darius used to look high and low for any clues we could find. But alas, I'm still searching to this day.

Kaze o swings his tail around to his front again and begins to comb his fingers through it. He looks down at the floor in a daze as if deep in thought. You, among some others here, have the potential and the power to help me spread my credo to the surface. And I believe you will enjoy the work I have planned for you. He then looks back up at the group, Those were his exact words to me only a few hours ago.

As you get to know new acquaintances and wonder about the connection you all might have, time passes quickly, and soon midnight has arrived. You pull on the indicated book, the title of which is written in Sylvan: "Naghh Bra'a'rlagh Fra'moa a'r ho Iom Sooa."
Suddenly the entire bookshelf shifts forward several inches, and slides several paces to the left. It reveals an unbelievable sight. It is indeed a large and beautiful arboretum, shelves, pots, and sunken gardens are all filled with some of the most beautiful and exotic plants you've ever seen. Brilliant colored flowers bloom, and the most wonderful fragrances waft to you on the unseen breeze. This however, is not the most entrancing thing about the room. No, what caught your eye before the flowers was the fact that the room seems to be open to the sky. Yet, you know that to be impossible. The air is warm, as it should be for an arboretum, but the library, like the rest of the underground lair are several hundred feet below the surface. As you stare at the brilliant moonlit night sky, you can only wonder at what magic is here.
"Amazing, isn't it?" You turn at the sound of a voice and see Temerlyth gingerly watering a large purple flower, with white and pink stamen. The leaves of the plant are a dark, dark green, and hang like spidersilk. Anyone with knowledge: nature can make a roll here for some more specific knowledge of the plants.
"No, to answer your question, you have not been transported to the surface. We are still underground, as many of you presumed. There is a ceiling, and it is quite solid. It is also, as far as I know, the world's largest crystal ball." Temerlyth smiles and lets that knowledge soak in for a moment. "If you question it, I'm sure Sadira would be happy to levitate up to touch it, and affirm my words." He looks at Sadira, and smiles. You notice now that he is no longer dressed in regal robes, in fact he is in workman's leathers, and has a belt of gardening tools around his waist, though he does still have his glowing staff looped across his back. It is a different Temerlyth you see before you, calm, humble, serene. It's hard not to wonder at the many faces of such a man. "It is the only way to grow these plants so far below the surface. Magic keeps the room warm and moist, but without the moon and stars to shine on them, they would wither and die. That, my honored guests, is why I have asked you here. So you could witness this truth, and let it spark our conversation."
