On a recent foray into Kwanlai, the Pathfinder Society learned that a conniving being from the Abyss has been targeting righteous communities on the border between the tengu nation and Tianjing to the south.
Honored Pathfinders and treasured colleagues,
I received an urgent request from an old friend of our Society, the samurai Shiyo Takarak of the Way of the Kirin. To my surprise, she has been working with another, more recently acquired friend of the Society: an archon of Heaven named Zepha. The two, it seems, have been pursuing leads discovered by one of our Society’s previous expeditions into the Kimu Mountains. Clearly impressed with their previous interactions with our colleagues, the two have asked for skilled Pathfinders to lead an expedition into Tianjing to follow the trail of evidence further. This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen our ties with both the Way of the Kirin and the archon. It also provides an opportunity to explore some of Tianjing and perhaps some of its ancient celestial-inspired architecture, arts, and philosophies. Zepha and Shiyo are in Kwanlai’s capital, Hisuikarasu, planning the expedition. Meet them there in the private room of the Gilded Lotus Teahouse.

Things were better. Several unexpected real life issues came out of the dark alleyways and crashed into me en masse. I'll get over it, but I can arrange a backup GM if you folks want. I won't hold it against you. I'd be impatient as well. I'm trying to tend to my tables today, and hopefully the situation will improve by the end of the week.

And I believe this concludes our adventure. In retrospect, this was not a game I found satisfying. Not due to the players, mind you, but myself. The initial rush of gameday responsibilities transitioned into a two-week outage by paizo, and then it just went downhill with delays caused by real life reasons. I do apologise, for what it's worth.
You were all great, though I feel that due to issues on my end the game got to a point where not a lot of people actually enjoyed it, if anyone at all. Again, this one is on me, and I would like to apologise. I would like to make it up to you, but time is not something I can donate. I can, however, give one of you a boon I got for running this. If you folks would like to run a Ganzi character, just raise your hand, and if there's more than one, we'll do a lottery for the PDF.

I am not sure. Never had a boon checked before. Maybe just write a note on it somewhere that it as given (freely, as I don't think we are allowed to sell boons) on this date and sign it?
