i cant seem to view the SRD due to too many pageviews or something. what's up with the following items?
Amulet of Mighty Fists is now cheaper!
Price was changed a while ago (2013) in FAQ to: 4,000 gp (+1), 16,000 gp (+2), 36,000 gp (+3), 64,000 gp (+4), 100,000 gp (+5)

i cant seem to view the SRD due to too many pageviews or something. what's up with the following items?
Bracers of Falcon's Aim now suck
Sleeves of Many Garments are nerfed
Jingasa of the Fortunate Soldier is now useless
Amulet of Mighty Fists is now cheaper!
Bracers of Falcon's aim now let you cast the spell once per day instead of benefit from it.
Sleeves of Many Garments are now an illusion effect instead of a transformation effect, meaning it's much easier to tell your clothes are fake.
Jingasa isn't a luck bonus anymore, which means that a ring of deflection does basically the same thing at a far cheaper cost.

No worries. I've had a 17 hour day on three hours of sleep. Wouldn't be able to contribute meaningfully anyway. I did manage to convince my irl group we should make the floating city we've taken over into a free port for pirates...

hey everyone just a quick update, i injured my back so its hard to sit in a chair for long. I'm trying to get some updates in soon.
Also, I will be leaving on a camping trip Thursday June 30 and return on July 6th (not sure how I am going to manage that with my back). I wont have internet access during that time and will not be posting.
sorry for lack of posts.

Xanya Zellor |

Thanks for the update. Hope you get better soon. Your health is more important than this game.

Quassine Alator |

Sorry about your back CT! I hope you can enjoy your vacation too with your bad back. Hope you get well soon! Maybe sleeping on a rock with push your back into place! ... :-)

Hammock and air pad!
With a stack of good books.

Lump |

indeed, have fun camping! i will keep my A/C and wifi. haha

CaveToad |

again just to reiterate, I will be out of town starting tomorrow AM. I will be back in a week. Most tables are at a pretty spicy moment right now, either mid combat or about to fight or are uncovering some pretty cool stuff.
Hopefully people are still interested. I may merge another table in possibly soon, or pull people from the waiting list if there are any still there

Quassine Alator |

Have fun camping!

For an animal companion that has a chance of surviving and adds value, Eidolon is the only way to go. If you just need a mount and don't care about it, use a spell. If you want mount speed, there is always the Monk class.
This is not true at all. Until around level 5-10, Eidolons are a lot more fragile than Animal Companions, because Animal Companions can wear full plate and a cloak of resistance.
Your companion will eventually die and if you don't have resurrection, no more companion.
Dude just pay a small amount of cash to any NPC druid.
Eidolon and Mount spells are the only way to go.
Eidolons can be tricky, easier in some situations than others. Mount/Ghostly Steed are great spells for people who only want to be mounted out of combat; in combat, you're getting unhorsed first round.
* * *
Around level 5-6, when I bother to take Shield Other, my eidolon will have (effectively) around 90 HP. The real kicker comes when Arcane Bloodrider hits level 8, though—constant displacement AND resist energy, plus heavy armor barding, means Pamburu will hit around 35 AC and effectively be able to take around 300 points of damage before dropping.
Not all mounts are weak; you just need to use them cleverly. Xanya or I can give further advice to anyone with a mount already on cheese dips to help it stay alive.

Quassine Alator |

My main point, was to make sure you can keep having a mount since your character is focused around a mount.

Status update: Just checking in again, to whine and complain about how I am still not getting the time I need to make some solid posts. Every day i think it will be the day I get some spare time and then work explodes into crazy chaos mode, and evenings are basically right out due to home responsibilities.
I just wanted to let people know I am still around, still vested in running the campaign, and will find the time when I can. I realize each day that passes people will lose interest, and that I cannot help. I am working on it.

Lump |

i'll still be around. i've been busy too so i dont mind the slow time.

Greebins Higgo |

Me too. Too juicy for me to let go. When else will i get to power game so hard.

Quassine Alator |

A lot of us will be here unless CT calls it all together.

CaveToad |

I won't call it off. It will continue, as I am as interested as any to see the game forward, progress the various groups' storylines and see what sort of concepts people are building. Just a tough time currently. I sort of feel like I may have more time once the weather gets colder. If people are able to hang tight. I am looking to maybe try and get something in soon, even if its not a return to daily posting.

Quassine Alator |

I'll be here

Lady Kyoko Moriko |

Hi just checking this is still live.

Quassine Alator |

It's alive but on pause.

Quassine Alator |

Still here and good that you are busy because I am now too. I am behind in some of my games which I hope to be caught up with by tomorrow.

Kalora |

Still here, though I don't know if anyone else at my table is, so it's sort of a moot point.

Shaeyl Nygct |

patient, I am

As life passes, things change and so does the time we have for other things. It's understandable that you'll cut one of your hobbies when you get less free time. Of course we could always wish there was time for more things in our lives, but that's not always true. Though priorities have to be made. We can only hope that you've made a choice you are happy with. Of course if you chose to reprotitize later so you have time for these games again it would be even better from our pov.
