Of course, Rukn doesn't know, but no potion there is really top for him. He was only taking the Mage Armor one to try to force the others decide.
Eh, a couple of the potions would be helpful to Zhalet, like Haste and Cat's Grace, but she shouldn't be first choice to get them.
Seriously, why not turn Erizi into a wrecking ball?
Whatever we run into, he's going to be the one directly in it's face and probably taking the majority of the damage. The more we can boost him, the better.
That said, Haste is probably best given to a ranged character who can pump attacks out. Rukn, probably.

So, to explain why I am going to deny the +20 stealth bonus granted by invisibility when dealing with creatures that would not be expecting to be able to use their sight to detect an enemy:
The bonus, the way I see it, stems largely from the fact that they cannot see you, and partially from the fact that they will somewhat ignore sounds (a book falling off a table, etc.) that might have been made by a creature when they look and see no creature there. At least until the audible proof has built up enough to override this instinct.
When dealing with foes that would not be relying on sight to detect you because they know they would not see anything regardless (darkness, blindness, etc.), they would rely only on hearing and would trust it more completely than their sight, which would make the fact that you are invisible a moot point.
So if I understand correctly, I do not get the +20 in the magical darkness against other creatures also in the magical darkness because they are not trying to detect any enemies with vision but once I am back in the light then I get the +20 again?
Is there anything I need to do mechanically to proceed?
While you are in the magical darkness. Where they are is immaterial. What makes the difference here is if they would expect to be able to see someone in the area you are sneaking. If so, being invisible applies its bonus, if not, then not.
It is a question of whether a person would rely on his visual senses and allow the evidence of his eyes to override the evidence of his ears.

On the upside, they shouldn't get that bonus either. Finding them should be easy too. There's still the miss chance to deal with, but it won't be a game of hunt and peck.
Okay, so the more I considered the implications, new and confusing interpretations, and possible corner cases, I have to retract my earlier statement.
Thought it makes me shake my head a bit, I am going to stand on the side of the rules as written (and presumably playtested and balanced) and just tell myself that magic is involved so it doesn't have to always make sense.

It is with regret and sadness that I'm going to step away from these boards for a while. It's a combination of many things, and the frustration with the board performance just pushed me to do what needed doing. I've got some things that are taking a higher priority in life at the moment. It's been a real pleasure gaming with you all, and hopefully life will give an opportunity to share this hobby we all love in the future...

Yes, the boards have been terrible this week. I'm having all the same problems.
There are extensions for Chrome and Firefox that automatically re-log you in every 30 seconds. It's a good work around for the current problem.
Slight of Hand is weird. It isn't a check about success or failure of stealing something. It sets the opposed DC to be noticed.
I've seen it used in combination with the Steal combat maneuver to swipe a wizard's component pouch. One check to actually take it, the other to see if the wizard noticed at all.
That stuck with me as a workable mechanic.
Slight of Hand assumes that you take something. The check is to see if your theft is noticed.
Steal is to take something from someone with whom you are fighting.
I like the attack roll, but seriously? Snake eyes on damage? @_@ Guh.
I think I lost my HP count at some point. In your notations, I am 'unhurt', then dealt 12 damage but appear as being dealt 19. Whereas in my own notations I seem to have been dealt 15, which doesn't match any of the above :P
It looks like you were unhurt at the end of the last combat .. at least as far as I saw. So it sounds to me like you have taken the 12 damage from the javelin. I will fix the status spoiler.
