Meira Yellete is none other than the daughter of Count Tremvar Yellete of Bourgund, Master of the Order of the Rose. The signet ring on her finger confirms this.

How many more do we have the means to raise? Certainly we need to save Jabbik's boar, and I'd really like to wake up that other goblin, too. And obviously the Griffon might be our best chance of escape.

Something has been troubling Ecko and he walks slowly over to the dragon creature.

A variety of checks. Does it seem as though the spider-silk tying the dragon's mouth closed came from the spider here? Does the dragon seem as though he's actually paralyzed? Because why would a paralyzed dragon need to have its mouth tied? I am interested enough in this thing to possibly risk trying to revive it. Unless I really, really shouldn't.

1. There doesn't seem to be any other possibility except that the silk came from the spider here. 2. You can see that it is breathing shallowly- and it hasn't been moving. 3. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions.

Without a rope of any kind, it will be a very difficult climb across the steep, rippled surface of the slug's vast head to the shelf mushroom 40 feet below.

Pfft neither of those here...

Ariso remains crouching and speaks quietly to the girl.

Perception DC 15 +1/10 ft away:
"Well Miss Yellete, my name's Ariso. The scary-looking woman over there is Olivia - she's a devotee of Mavros, and inconveniently ethical. I believe the arrogant-looking robed fellow (just going off your avatar :P ) mentioned his name was Asopus. The gnome is Nabbit, and despite the fact that he was until recently our captor's lackey, he seems nice enough. The others, I've yet to meet, but I'm sure they're all fine, upstanding citizens... Don't worry, wherever we are, we're all getting out. Now, you just rest here a bit, I've got to help out."

With that, he pats her on the arm, stands up, and moves to the boar. "Is this... Bloody Paws, then?" he queries the little goblin.

Yes this is him. Pointing to the boar

Ariso murmurs a prayer to Loki and lays his hands on the boar's shoulder healing 1 hp, then steps back from the beast quickly.

The beast snorts, tossing its head side-to-side before shakily rising to its feet. The boar marches its bulk over to Jabbik and simply sits on its haunches, regarding the rest of you with bored indifference.

Ecko responds to the boar with similar indifference.

To Ariso he says, "The goblin, if you would."

"I'm not such a good climber that I could do that without rope and unfortunately Nabbit chucked mine out door as his first order of business. Maybe we can find some in this hut, or at least a good substitute."

Are there ropes that could be cut off of the catapult?

Male Human Wizard 1

"Well the spider silk that is currently tying up mister dragon's mouth over there could probably be used as a substitute, but I don't think I want to go anywhere near that creature while it is still alive."

"True." Would there be enough?

Olivia kneels down in front of the beast. "Who knows, maybe he's not so bad. Let's take a look."

Olivia detects evil and concentrates on the dragon type thing.

Besides, surely if the little goblin is trouble, he'll be no match for the seven of us." Ecko is including Nabbit in their little party. "And one gets further with a kind word than with tying someone up. Perhaps our own resident goblin would be the one to stand by him as he wakes?"

Hearing the squelching of the silk's harvest, Miss Yellete squeals hysterically before getting violently ill once more.

Yes, I do, and he isn't the friendly sort like Jabbik over there. He may know where Nabbit's sister is though, so lets tie him up, revive him, then interrogate him. Maybe use the silk from the dragons mouth, that should be enough. We may also want to remove that device on his arm. Olivia's tone is a bit more grim after realizing she had allowed evil in their presence for so long.

Mavros has given you these gifts for a reason she chides herself. You can't afford to be the naive girl that perished in the forge.

Olivia cracks a smile at that and nods. Considering the work he did on that spider silk, I'd say that he's our man. Plus,"she shrugs "something tells me that he'll take great pleasure in it."

Ecko stares at the others with a degree of curiosity, wondering if they're making a mistake, or if the goblin is, indeed, some sort of fiend. He does not believe that Olivia can really tell with any degree of certainty.

He shrugs and looks towards Nabbit. "Did you save any of the ropes you took from us? Given that you wanted to escape as much as anyone, I can't figure out why you threw them away."

Male Human Spelless Ranger

"I would rather just slit his throat, that way we don't have to worry about him escaping, and trying to cause us harm later". "Still if someone is going to tie him up it might as well be me".

"You think you know so much do you". "I can see that down inside your heart is as black as your brothers". "They burnt my family farm to the ground, for nothing except the fact that they are evil, nasty, vile creatures, who bring nothing positive to the world".

"How can you as a supposedly civilized goblin look at the history of your race and defend them"?

Shaking with rage, Vinter gives the trussed up goblin a final kick and heads for the opening he created with the spider silk rope in hand.

M Goblin 1 Cavalier

I guess I defend them same way you defend humans who just wipe out Goblin villages for them being goblins. Your race is capable of just as despicable acts, don't flatter yer-self so high and mighty.

Ariso snorts. "I firmly subscribe to the theory that all men - and possibly women - are animals at heart. Evil is second nature to us all. I find that if your generalisations include everyone, you are paradoxically less inclined to offend. Now, let's wake up this bound fellow and hear what he has to say."
