Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht*
Nacht was calm as always but knew it could not see those who hid well.. Eventually the being would reveal itself and when it did... Nacht would know there was no where it could run.
Ready Action Cast a spell when the creature appears.

using gather energy for a full round and a. Move action next at lest. It will decrease his empowered pushing charged water to zero burn.
Michael Johnson 66
Hisao takes 20 on perception on the corpse.
Some help would have been appreciated but not needful. Hisao comments as he rifles through the corpse.
Among the foul-smelling and quickly decomposing remains of the oni, Hisao finds a bronze key shaped like a dragonfly on a leather cord, a medallion of white and green jade shaped like the yin and yang on a golden necklace (which the ogre mage had worn as a bracelet), and a great curved sword (Large no-dachi greatsword) in a jeweled scabbard....
Pater Dominico
Looking around warily, Pater Dominico pulls out a scroll....
Might there be more unseen enemies about?.... I can recite a prayer from this scroll, penned by the hand of Saint Januarius himself, which will make all invisible things in the area visible.... But I would not want to waste so precious a relic if the danger is past....
Hisao of the Yellow Reeds
No reason not to swing at invisible enemies. 50% chance to hit is better than zero. I guess a Bluff check from Paddy to pass a secret message would have made sense but Hisao trusts Paddy implicitly anyway. Mage could have done something when Paddy started walking to him though!
Fredrick gionnav
spits at the sight of the oni and mutters about demons under his breath.
lads let's head to my ship and plot a course for our next port before more trouble shows.
Hoenheim Dobberkau *Nacht*
It just in general couldnt have happened is the issue I have. He basically would have had to be 1) On the ground. 2) Next to Paddy and 3 within sight and swinging distance of alot of people. That just couldnt have happened, which is why I was confused he was even getting hit... by anything. There is n reason you can swing at invisible enemies.. because you couldnt hit them. Why would an Invisible fling opponent place itself between 5ft melee range of any two characters?
Michael Johnson 66
I know that Hisao could reach the ogre mage ethereally even if we assume it was hovering above the ground.... I did say it came down to spy on the party, so it would have been within range of hearing normal conversation, say 30 ft above where party was standing.... Assuming Paddy was flying out of the tower to "go get a drink" and flew up next to OM.... That's how I was interpreting it.... But if Paddy can't fly, that might've changed things significantly.... Including fight with dragon....
Michael Johnson 66
What would the party like to do next, now that it has blooded the Enemy and slayed one of the evil lieutenants of the Diabolical Tribunal?
The ruins of Naples seem as good a place as any other to hide out from the Enemy that lairs in Mt Vesuvius nearby.... Alternately, the Italian coast is riddled with caves and secluded groves where a band of adventurers might hide....
Hisao of the Yellow Reeds
Maybe someone can identify the equipment on the Oni. Also was there not a reward for killing it? I say we collect bounty and then deliver ashes of scholar to his family. Maybe we find help in those places. I think the beast will go into hiding for a while as well.
The ninja suddenly has a thought. If beast has left, can we not invade its lair?
So go back to our previous staging point, onwards to Norse lands, or raid the dragon's lair?
Fredrick gionnav
"we don't be having a lot of time. I might know of a place we can hide for a night.
Alphonse Veritus
For some reason I thought we only had until the SUMMER solstice.
"I do not think the dragon will be gone from its lair for long, and have no wish to encounter it again in more favorable conditions to it. But yes, on second thought we have the time. Let us take Iommi's ashes to his family."
Paddy
Aye...it's the right thing to do.Paddy then turns to the 2 remaining goblin minstrels.
I think Iommi's actions merit a song. His people appreciate that sort of thing. A tale of his valour and honour would be a fitting send off I think. What do you two think? Can you come up with a song along the way to his homeland?

Lament for Smart Guy, by the Goblin Duo
Hear lament for Smart Guy....
He was tall and pale!
He was good at saying stuff, and drinking lots of ale!
Smart Guy like to throw fire....
Whenever it Smart Guy's turn....
It seem kind of ironic that Smart Guy die from burn!
We will miss his yapping....
At everyone we meet....
We will miss the scraps him toss to us when Smart Guy eat!
Hear lament for Smart Guy....
He was pretty cool....
Up until big dragon breathe and crispify that fool!
Michael Johnson 66
And so the Lusty Fools set sail westward across the sparkling azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea, hugging the northern coastline and occasionally docking in ports along the way in Aragon and Castile.... A voyage of several days before emerging through the gap of Herakles and into the great Ocean that swallowed Atlantis at the dawn of the Bronze Age....
The Argos makes the voyage in far less time than any mundane ship could manage, but it is the 7th day of July when the mythical trireme ferries the heroes at last to the cold fjords of Norway....
Paddy
Well, looks like we're about there, lads. I don't know this area at all...but it can't be too hard to find out which way to go. The fisherman will be able to help point us in the right direction, I bet.
Michael Johnson 66
The temperature is notably cooler here, even in mid summer.... A crispness flavors the salty air....
As the Argos glides over the blue waters of the mountain-hemmed fjords, her passengers can smell fish and salt and blood in the wind....
The Lusty Fools have come to the Land of Vikings.... The Land of Ice and Snow....
A horn can be heard blowing over the foggy wind.... It seems to call the names of ancient Nordic gods....
OOOOOOOOOOOOODIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNN......
The Argos makes port at a fishing village where longships sit on the cold waters....
There, they are greeted by fair-haired, bright-eyed fishers, farmers, herders, and raiders, and their golden-locked children running on the strand with wooden swords and axes in play....
Hisao of the Yellow Reeds
We come with fallen body of one of yours who was friend of ours. His name was Iommi Tyr... Magnussaon?. Something like that
Hisao calls back.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
Paddy
Aye, our friend fell in battle...facing the enemy with weapon in hand. The blasted red wyrm laid him low with his fiery breath. We thought he should be brought back to his homeland. I was glad to call him friend.
Gretta Olafsdottir
He fell in battle against the Fire wyrm? Then your friend is surely feasting in Valhalla now, travelers.... Take some solace in that.... Magnusson? 'Tis a noble name.... The hall of Magnus can be found in Trondelag.... A great borg north and west of here.... I can guide ye there, for a fair price....
