Would anyone mind telling me how to get all of my stats below my name like Eli has? That seems convenient.
Lucendar asked us to do that awhile back. When you edit your profile put the [ hp AC Saves] in the Race box and the [Int Percp] in the Class level box and it will show up under your name. Just follow the format we are using.
Its the same as your Wildebob profile having [ m human Player 3/GM 2] in it.

No problem, and please don't take it personally that Eli is not going to trust Halim at first. If you have read any of the thread up to this point it hasn't been working out to well for him and he currently thinks anyone new might be an agent of his enemies.
I think we are getting to the level that some divination magic might be useful to help interpret what the crystal ball is showing us, if anyone has access to any.
Lucendar, I've never actually played a memorized caster in a pbp. Would you like me to post my memorized spells in my profile or am I fine to just track them at home? I'm happy to do it, if you wish.
I prefer posting them in you profile your regular set of spells. If you change your memorization, then put it in a post.
I did update Quzman's spell list when I started posting again, just an FYI. I swapped out Bear's Endurance for...something...

Sorry for the sudden absence, as you may know my wife and kids live in Nebraska now and I am in Louisville, KY finishing my degree. Yesterday they admitted my wife to the hospital so I drove all night to be here for her and the kids. She is home now and doing well, I will try to catch up on the thread tomorrow after I have gotten caught up on my sleep.

Hearing Dumah mention the clergy in town Eli staggers to his feet. "I am too weak to carry him, Ty...Bahiyy, please help me bring him to Abdallah at the temple." Eli will drag himself back to the village and despite the late hour will bang upon the door until the priest comes to admit them. When the priest arrives Eli falls to his knees, "We need your healing art good priest, Quzman has fallen. You must help him....bring him back to us and I will swear my life and my blade to the service of Sarenrae. I will ferret out and eliminate evil where ever the Dawnflower finds it, this I will pledge upon the name of my birth...Altoriss van Zandt.

Actual that is supper cool roleplaying! Please don't anyone feel they have to forgive and forget this to keep the game play going. I am cool with tension between the party, particularly Quzman since they are like brothers in Aletoriss' mind. It is very cool for the DM to drop this hidden secret right now, when the story is already intense. AWESOME!

Yeah, this was a great time to drop this, you're right. We're floundering trying to determine what's going on in town, been betrayed already, had faceless bad guys threaten/taunt us, and now we find out we had someone who wasn't who he said he was right in our own midst, very nice.
I had to think long about Quzman. The loss of trust of a brother would be a HUGE emotional blow, and I considered the renouncing of that tie. However, I don't think he'd allow himself to go so far back on his word to disavow a family member for this. He also follows the Redeemer, and maybe he can work towards that...later, once the urge to throttle Eli goes down.
Keep in mind all the good things he has done, he has just been doing it under an assumed Identity. His is a betrayal of Trust not of Well Being. It will be neat to see how Quzman and Eli work this out, if it can be worked out. I figure Aletoriss is going to have to earn that Trust back, how long that takes will be up to Quzman, Ty, Mahath, and Halim and each may have there own level of betrayal to resolve with "Eli". Halim just met him, Quzman and Ty for a long time, and Mahath just a few days. Should be interesting to see how each of the characters react to this.

This definitely. He's been disillusioned by one he counts as blood. In general, he's one who tries to let actions speak louder than words, so Eli's actions in general speak volumes for Aletoriss...especially how he treated the fallen and bonded with April.
That said, it's still a painful slap to his sensibilities and he's not the fastest thinker around. He's by no means stupid, but is one for more internal review and retrospection than anything with emotional rather than calculating thoughts being more to the fore.
It will be neat to see how Quzman and Eli work this out, if it can be worked out. I figure Aletoriss is going to have to earn that Trust back, how long that takes will be up to Quzman...
I think it will work out in the end, as family still matters most. It just may take some time and conflict...which can be good for the story ;)
It's good to see we are on the same page. I think this is a solid enough group of players to focus on the story, and the tension in the relationships this creates, and continue to tell an awesome story while completing the Adventure Path as it unfolds.
Ty is more pragmatic about the situation. If new-Eli had said that he had prior-Eli konked in the head and thrown overboard, that would have been something different. Merely getting the guy drunk and robbing him, isn't that big a deal, after all the good Ty has seen new-Eli pull off while they have been together.
Halim's sad to see the suffering that the deception caused but psyched at the idea of getting to help heal the rift and "redeem the deceiver."
Just an FYI I am graduating from seminary this weekend, and finishing the move from Kentucky to Nebraska starting Monday. I will have limited posting time between now and Wednesday, NPC as needed. Right now Eli is trying to get some space and heal up with his wand or potions and then surprised to see the others will leap into action to fight the drow, flanking to get the bigger bonuses and feinting to lower their AC and get the sneak attack damage.

Well, after a day's delay in Kansas City for a car repair we have finally landed in Broken Bow as a whole family! Still have a lot to do to get my stuff settled in, but I should be able to get back to regular posting (Myabe a few delays, but not more than a day I suspect.)
Lucendar, I have bad news. I have taken a summer job that is going to radically alter my schedule. While I may be able to post, I cannot say what level of consistency will be possible. I think it best for you all if I bow out.

Welcome back Lucendar! Personally, I am going to be in GenCon mode over the next couple of weeks. I have to prep 4 scenarios, and get everything packed up, along with the travel/recovery. I probably won't have much of an opportunity to post till after its over.
