Mahath also has potions and alchemical healing products that he certainly wouldn't horde. I developed his gear from the perspective of someone adventuring alone (as he was in his hunt for Haleen), but once he has allies he is traveling with, he'll let them know the nature of his handy haversack and the healing items therein so his allies can use them if he is incapacitated.
-Universal Solvent (2)
-Ptn Cure Blindness
-Ptn Cure Deafness
-Ptn Remove Disease
-Ptn Neutralize Poison
-Ptn Lesser Restoration (2)
-Ptn Remove Fear
-Ptn Cure Light Wounds (6)
-Antiplague (3)
-Antitoxin (3)

With these items available, I'm thinking that all we really need is a wand of CLW. As long as we are in the city, we can easily replace anything we use, paying for it with party funds.

Maybe some CMW scrolls? It's a DC 8 caster level check for me or Jameena to use, and our caster levels should be 4, so 4 or better on the die to use. They're half price of potions too, so can get twice as many.
This sounds good, and at least one if not two wands to spread about the party

Hey guys, just making the comment that the posting rate for this PbP has really slowed down from what it once was (mainly from Jameena, Eli, and Quzman) and I'm curious as to why and I have a few theories so I'd like some feedback as to what is the reason for it:
1. My 2-month absence killed the momentum of the game
2. Not that much into rping and you're letting Eli and Jameena take the lead and they've slowed down posting
3. You're frustrated Zayifid, who had a week's head start on you, went and told everyone you had the Scroll
4. RL is just kicking everyone's a$$
5. Game's not that interesting anymore
6. I was just spoiled by the prior posting rate
7. Something else
Feel free to be honest and don't worry about hurting my feelings. I'm thinking it's 1 & 2.

Two things for me. One, I'm not 100% comfortable speaking on behalf of the Stalkers since Mahath has only just started to solidify his position with them. The other is I am a little puzzled about the scroll. I think we are just now coming around to the realization that we need to go to the realm it links to. Someone else will get their hands on this scroll; it is just a matter of time. The only thing we can do is activate it and if it is a ticking time bomb, defuse it so that if it ends up in the wrong hands it is useless to them.
I am coming around to the immediate danger to Rayhan having the scroll to override Mahath's desire to find Haleen and resolve that story line. After all, Haleen has a reputation for being resourceful, and he may find out she's been fine since she left the Sand Stalkers after they freed her.

I've always sort of felt Ty was the quiet guy, happiest when he was sending volleys of arrows at his enemies.
And I do think games tend to sort of settle into a 'comfortable' groove after they have been going on for a while. They seem to slow down a bit from their initial hectic pace, but this one has slowed down quite a bit lately, that's true...

Definitely #4 for me. I've been rather busy with a couple of major projects at work, along with organizing PFS for a local con during Easter, training for a half-marathon and occasionally spending time with my family. My other PbP's have felt this too, especially the one i GM, which Mark can attest to.
However, both work and the PFS duties should be slowing down a bit now, so I will hopefully be able to get back into gear and start posting a bit more frequently, and write longer posts.

Hey all,
Back from vacation, and hope to get a post in this afternoon after I catch up in the main forum.
In regards to the questionaire above, it's really been #4 for the most part for me. With 3 different family members rotating through the hospitals for various stays it's been a rather stressful month of March/April so far. Things appear to be stabilizing, but a couple of them are still not doing the best in recovery. Hopefully things will settle to a dull roar soon. Add to that the break for vacation and time has been sparse.
There's a little of #2, but that's more I actually don't see Quzman as much of a front man. He's trying to be a quiet conscience more or less. City life is not his forte, and he knows it. He'll share his thoughts with his team as fitting, but unless there's something extraordinarily egregious being done, he'll generally reserve comment till later.

Hey GANG, Just want to give you all an update on things that will affect my posting time. Including this week I have four weeks left until the end of the semester and have a few large projects due. I may miss a few days posting, but will try to keep up as much as possible.
On the 21st we are taking a family vacation and I will not be posting between then and when we return on the 28th.
On the 29th I start an intense 10 week clinical program that includes working as a chaplain in the hospital. This is a full time 40+ hour work week with at lest one overnight one call shift each week. I will try to keep up as much as possible with my posting but if needed please DM PC me to keep the game running during this time.
Thanks

Hey all,
I'm sorry this is becoming a regular thing for me it seems. I've had some issues with close family members and health problems here over the past couple of months, and it's really taking a toll on my ability/desire to keep up with an on going story. The game has been great, but today I lost my mother, and I don't know when I'll feel up to trying to keep this going. As such, I am going to respectfully bow out of the game. I am sorry to leave in the middle of a hunt, but this really has me bent out of shape right now.
Sincerely,
Kevin

My condolences.
My mother-in-law passed away a month ago, and my wife found comfort in this:
I am standing by the seashore.
A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze
and starts for the blue ocean.
She is an object of beauty and strength,
and I stand and watch
until at last she hangs like a speck of white cloud
just where the sun and sky come down to mingle with each other.
Then someone at my side says, 'There she goes!
Gone where? Gone from my sight - that is all.
She is just as large in mast and hull and spar
as she was when she left my side
and just as able to bear her load of living freight
to the places of destination.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone at my side says,
'There she goes! ' ,
there are other eyes watching her coming,
and other voices ready to take up the glad shout :
'Here she comes!'

FYI: I am finishing up my last project for this semester and then rolling right into the busy activities for my wife's graduation. I have a lot to do to get ready for family, the graduation, and then our Florida trip. I will try and watch the thread for the next few days and will post as able. I will be gone from the 21st to the 28th and start working at the hospital on the 29th, so you can expect my posting to resume then more regularly then. Please feel free to DM Eli as needed to keep the thread going, I won't mind (unless he dies :{ of course:).

Guys, I am starting a new job at a firm tomorrow (offer too lucrative to pass up but will still be doing my self-employed cases on the side). With Eli's upcoming absence this week, I think it would be best to put game on hiatus for a week, so he can come back and I can get a feel of the new caseload at this new place.
